    BBFS in the DR

My first day in the DR I solicit no condom from a chick. The conversations was fully in Spanish in which I am a native speaker when we got the room it went up from 1500 pesos to 11000 pesos her explanation because she might catch an STD from a stranger. I had it thrown or offered to me by Dominicans only! The Haitians never agree to such services all the price quotes I've gotten was 4500-5000 pesos and this was in Sosua. I'll be careful just a little bit some of these mangos might try to trap you with a baby if you are a frequent visitor and a repeat customer. I think it's all about how you they vibe with you. If someone was to give you a BBFS provider number guarantee 21 questions will follow with a request for a picture or video call. I and rarely do business with the light ones and there's a good reason why which I will never post on this forum.

Apologies, I forgot about my DM subscription. I'm trying to figure out the bitcoin thing now. Don't want to use the mail option. Pending.

Massage place is open on the corner and you'll get offers walking around. A buddy in the states wanted some expensive cigars and was able to find them at La Leyenda del Cogarro. I always deal with the owner / manager at the location; repeat customer so service is always great! They sell beer here but it's cheaper at National supermarket. They don't mind if you grab a seat, respectfully. There's a small chocolate factory experience en ZC and a cool photo-op bar / restaurant La Casa del Ron.

Went back to GBP in the evening. More quantity but the same quality. Stopped by Tabu and a colmado I like to visit.

I crossed paths with a first time visitor from the states at Grand's Cafeteria. Tried to give him quick 101 instructions. I'the just say here (repeated many times before) - buy a cell phone for your travels and leave your domestic phone in your hotel / Airbnb safe / locked suit case. Make a copy of your passport and leave your wallet / passport in your hotel / Airbnb safe / locked suit case. It's cool to dress neat / modem but try not to standout / draw too much unwanted attention if you're walking around during the day. It can be unavoidable but try. Hydrate; it's hot and humid in the DR. Be mindful of people, surroundings and your barrings! It's great to meet new people and make connections, just be cautious. I like exchanging WhatsApp info with people especially because I'm always curious about new venues / places to go, etc; but if those conversations become a novella I end it immediately.

For some reason the traffic wasn't too bad one time I had to drive above Ave 27 de Febrero to visit friends. That's not the norm for rush hours.

I had a great credit card that didn't charge international fees / conversion and used it a lot this trip.

I have a good connection at Enterprise rental car if you can't seem to get a better deal / price elsewhere.

If you want a more active walking sightsee experience during the day try Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte between Mexico and 27 de Febrero. Local experience.

It's ok be selfish when visiting, it's your time and money!

So basically no chain hotel like hilton or marriott is no go for chica and only depend on airbnb?

I am in the process of booking some hilton hotels and fingers crossed if I can manage to get a way like in Rio, Colombia etc.

May 18 to 22nd. Road trip in domnican

Guys, 1st timer to Dominican republic landing on May 17th Midnight in sdq and coming with a few wingmen and renting an suv from the airport for a 5 days road trip.

This trip mainly includes sightseeing and relaxing in nature but open for some mongering in the nights.

Appreciate any insights or feedback on my plan and suggestions to improvise to have the best bang for the buck and time.

1 May 17th, 18th Night Accommodation. Planning to book on either of Hilton properties (Homewood suites or Embassy Suites) whichever is chica friendly. (trying to use hilton points wherever applicable).

OR Stay one night in Hampton Inn near Boca Chica which seems to be having some late night action as per a few posts here.

Appreciate any recommended Massage place with full service or Casa's near by these hotels instead of getting the chicas to rooms without connecting them via my usual methods of FB and other members' connections.

2 May 19th, We are planning to stay in Sosua after a full day of hiking waterfalls in the national park on the way (so far inclined towards Jarabacoa, but open for any suggestions). Appreciate any leads on chica friendly airbnb or straight up go to a good massage place with a happy ending as we will be tired and have to head east the next morning.

3 May 20th, we are planning to stay in Samana area to explore Las Terrenas / Las Galeras. Not sure if there is any mongering options available in these remote places. But appreciate any leads on both accommodation as well MP / casa's.

4 May 21st, We will be staying in Hilton La Romana AI resort and will be exploring both Punta cana and nearby cenotes excursions. I am guessing this part of the DR is touristy like cancun and not worth mongering but I am all yours if there are any hidden gems out of the way in these areas.

Once again this is kind of last minute trip planning and not my usual mongering trips to other south america or Asian countries. Appreciate if any leads or contacts that can be passed via pm which I will be reciprocating back as usual along with my trip report.

My Dominican girlfriend whatsapped my yesterday to tell me that I need a Dominican E-Ticket before arriving in the DR this weekend. When I asked what the hell that was, she sent me a url where you had to enter all of your information (passport number, dob, home address, how long you were going to stay, etc.) I filled everything out but when I went to pay for it, they showed a charge of 68 fucking dollars! I haven't been to the DR in almost 4 years, but I do remember having to pay like 10 bucks for a tourist visa when you arrived at the airport in the DR.

Hass anyone else heard of this Dominican E- Ticket bullshit? Is it legit or just a scam that they created on a website to get money from suckers?
    From USA State Department:

Visas are not required for visits shorter than 30 days. Visit the Embassy of the Dominican Republic website for current visa information.

All visitors to the Dominican Republic are charged a $10 tourist card fee that is incorporated into airline charges. Cruise passengers must obtain a tourist card if they are disembarking for longer than 24 hours. Once used, the card allows for stays up to 30 days but can be extended at the General Directorate of Migration in Santo Domingo.

Any time you are going to visit another country, I always suggest checking the state dept official site, because things can change from your last visit. Or if you've never been before, you'll want to check anyhow. They will only post links to official sites, and the info is usually up to date.

Thanks, MG and Mr. E. Well, at least it will be nice to get out of the city for 2 days.
