    Come on guys

Guys help us out. We need to know what happened. We are all friends here.

    Thanks for the report.

Some photos I took of various beaches, all are open to anyone, not a piece of trash. I also posted photos of some beaches in the Southwest of the Dominican Republic (santo domingo thread, those photos from the internet), that don't have trash.

    Boca Chica trip report

I spent a few days at the begining of March in Boca Chica. I've been to Sosua many times and have posted those trip reports on this forum. My association with a certain airline made it easier to fly to BC so I took it upon myself to check the place out, kind of as an exploratory trip. My expectations were somewhat low after reviewing this board but thought it would be worth at least a few days.

Overall, I had a decent time and might do it again, but I would prefer Sosua.

Airport to town ride is about $25-30, no way to get around it, just like Sosua. I booked a room at Hotel Zapata, and think this was a good choice overall, and a good place for a first timer in BC. The owner, Roberto, is a relatively young guy, around mid-30's to early 40's and is a licensed attorney in the DR. He is a wealth of good information, too. The Zapata is a very decent hotel although there are some minor restrictions to mongering activities. The chicas cannot join you at the bar and if you keep them TLN they must be out by 7:30 am or you have to pay an addtional small fee. Around 10 bucks, I think. Basically, the chicas have to go straight to your room and straight out, no loitering. There is excellent security at the hotel, day and night, and the girls have to have legit cedulas, which is good for everyone, as you will see in my report.

I had hoped to do some scuba diving while I was there but had a minor back issue which prevented my from checking that out, so I did a lot of distance swimming out off the beach and just goofed around most of the time. There are some snorkeling excursions available to a couple different islands about an hour away by bus that I might check out if I returned.

I found the beach to be generally kind of cruddy, typical DR beach with public access. It's sad, but the Dominican people do not take good care of their beaches and everywhere I go if the beach is not restricted access to hotels, then the beach is covered in trash of all sorts, and while swimming I see a lot of trash out in the water, too. There are many touts and hustlers out on the beach daily selling everything you can imagine but I just waived them away. The Hotel Zapata has its own section that is not quite on the beach but faces the beach and it is fenced in, so you can lounge around without being hassled, which is nice.

The Zapate hotel itself is a pretty nice property, I think about $65 a night, and breakfast was included. The rooms facing the beach also face an inner courtyard, which can be a bit noisy at night if people are hanging around the bar, otherwise it was fairly quiet. I checked out the Costalunga apartments and the hotel Madjera while I was there, and think they both looked adequate. Costalunga is about $40 a night and a few blocks from the beach, no on site restaurant or bar, but very chica friendly. The Madjera is just sort of on the beach but not right on the beach and not sure how quiet or noisy it is at night. Seemed quiet to me while I was checking it out. Also chica friendly. Not sure what the policy is if you wanted to bring in two chicas, but that is not always such a good idea in the DR anyway.

I found chicas all over the place; the town is not very big and Duarte street is essentially the hub of all activity for its 3-4 blocks. Just about all the bars and restaurants are located there. Unlike Sosua, I found very few, if any "nightclub" type places that just had music and / or dancing. I walked by the Batey disco (think that is what it is called) several times but never seemed to be open, maybe only late at night. The chicas came in every size and shape, dark skinned haitianas and lighter skinned Dominicanas, everything from slim to pretty chunky. Standard rates seemed to be RD 1500 for short time and I never inquired about TLN. Service, in general, was similar to my Sosua experiences, perhaps less GFE (kissing) but always BBBJ and I like to do DATY on them which they seem to enjoy once I get going. I don't thnk they get that service from what I can tell.

I was able to get phone numbers from everyone and called for some mid-day delight one day which worked out nicely. I actually prefer daytime mongering to the late night stuff. There are definitely less girls out during the daytime but at night the main drag, Duarte was pretty much filled with roving chicas.

There are some nice restaurants on Duarte and they close the street off at night to vehicles so all the places put chairs and tables out on the street at night and it is a festive atmosphere. In March it was pretty cool in the evenig and very pleasant to just sit around and watch the chica parade go by. There is also a small park, more like a downtown square on the west end of Duarte (they call it "El Parque" and there are always lots of chicas sitting around there at night for the choosing.

I met one nice lady one night who I took to my room, had fun with, and then met the next day for a tour of the Christopher Columbus monument / museum in Santo Domingo the next day. She helped me find the right busses (less than 100 pesos Road each way) and we had a very interesting couple of hours checking that place out one day. I would highly recommend that tour to anyone with historical interests. Think I paid her about 1000 Road to help me out, worth every penny.

I did have one bad experience one night, and almost embarrassed to admit to it, since I am a relatively experienced monger and Sosua vet, but one night I did give in to stupidity and followed two chicas (no cedulas) to their "habitacion" (hotel) and thought I was street wise enough to avoid a scam, but in the end, I got fleeced for about $50 bucks (al the money I had in my fanny pack). Just more tuition paid to the harsh school of experience that comes with mongering in the DR (or anywhere, for that matter.) Lesson relearned: NEVER GO TO THE CHICAS' CASA AND NEVER WITH CHICAS WHO DO NOT HAVE CEDULAS! Nuff said.

I'll attach a few pics here at the end. Overall, I had a decent time in Boca Chica, and while I prefer Sosua, BC is worth a look or two, I think. For those who wish to explore Santo Domingo, that city is only a 45 minute bus ride away.

Hope you find this report helpful, and thanks always to all posters on this board who have provided info to me over the years.

For you guy's who are arriving in B / C for the 1st time day sex is to be had from almost every place you would go during the night.

Most girls live on site at these place's and will get out of bed to make money. Look for any sign of life- clean up guy's who ever and ask them to get the Boss he will get out of bed as well as long as you are ready to spend the money.

Viaje Boca Chica Marzo (Boca Chica March)

I went to Tropical Adult Vacations back in 2009 and paid what amounted to $500. 00 per night for 4 days and 3 nights. I decided to try something different from the north coast Sosua, Puerto Plata and Cabarete and spend a few days in Boca Chica. My goal in this vacation is to spend $200. 00 per day for 5 days I am looking forward to the challenge. Below I have listed a review of my 5 days in Boca Chica:

    Hamilton Hotel.

Hotel Hamilton is a decent but dated hotel across the street from Play Boy House. The rooms are old and the bed was hard but it was within a 10 minute walking distance from the major spots to include:

    • Luxury Disco.

    • The Beach.

    • Calle Duarte.

    • The Boathouse.

    • El Batey Club.

    • The Piano Bar.

My perception of the hotel staff was in general they were not very friendly but maybe others would have a different experience. The wireless internet was a problem above the lobby area so it was difficult to use the internet in my room. The restaurant was decent but the street noise was absolutely ridiculous. I would give the hotel experience a C.

    Transportation.

Walking was easy to most spots. Motoconchos were between 50-100 pesos depending on time of day. I ran into Dario who works at the hotel and he took me on day trips to Juan Dolio, Santo Domingo, the Boca Chica barrios and my final airport transfer for $150. 00 total for the week. He was available for me in between his other clients. I have his information for anyone who is interested.

    Restaurants.

There were a variety according to taste but I enjoyed the Boathouse on the beach because the waitresses were friendly and the breeze from the beach was absolutely incredible. The restaurant was less than 10 feet from the beach so it also provided a good view. The menu was basic American cuisine.

    Roadmap to success

The beach during the day, Duarte strip in the afternoon, the Piano Bar at night, El Batey Club and finally the Luxury Club for late nights. If you follow that path you should have some success.

    Hatianas.

All the Hatianas I ran into were asking for $3000 Road they were not humble like some of the Sosua Hatianas. I assume those prices are coming from their being accustomed to European clientele. If you deal with them be prepared to negotiate.

    Casas.

Casa Fraisa, chica Daniella was my best experience of the entire trip GFE and PSE experience combined. All casas run between $2000-2500rd and ST and $4000-5000RD for TLN. Casa Fraisa's line up after dark was more than acceptable during the day not so much.

    Conclusion.

My assessment is that Boca Chica is a Sosua light with a smaller selection of chicas and close to the same pricing but a pleasant diversion. I have Cartagena coming up in April and back to Sosua in June my mouth is watering and I can't wait!

I realize that I probably could get the same girls cheaper on my own, but that is only 50% of the deal for me. I also want comfort, pampering and laziness, hassle free "mongering", beachfront, five star service, etc. Etc.

If you vacation on the South side of the island, you might look at Total Satisfaction or Periastron Vacations. These two share the same hotel in Boca Chica and are about half as much as DR Nights. I have stayed there twice in the last year and can highly recommend.

I would be interested to hear from someone who has actually been to Taboo Villas. Searched through the forums but could not find anything.

    P. S: The url of the website I posted some time ago is no longer available. Instead look at this one.

Yes sir, go there, bend over and take it like a man. It just makes me wonder why they have to steal pictures from others in order to promote their place, I mean, they should promote with their own women. By the way, some of those women you can find in Sosua and spend the night with them for like $60, not so the two attractive ones showing the nice tits, they must be retire by now, that picture was taken a long time ago.

This is a decent hotel that includes breakfast cook to order and is chica friendly with a safe, hot water, pool, disco next door, bar across street, beach short walk. The best thing is the employees making the stay relaxing.

Try the Candy shop 1st. Right next door and if you don't find the chica you need there don't worry just ask the Boss Paco and he can probably get what you are looking for.

The reason I have only been to B / C so far is that it is cheaper and very close to the airport women are very hot and it is a party atmosphere. Sure they are some negative stuff like the tip seekers but you become wise to all that and they end up leaving you alone. Party like a rock star while your there.

I have been to Santo Domingo but the place's I went there all ask for way to many peso's for there chica's

It still is a good bargain, although they are moving away from the monger type of client (atmosphere to a more family oriented one-at least that is what they would like).
What I recall, when I was there about a year and a half ago, was that when he opened the restaurant in December there was noone going there except his family and some of his friends. I could be mistaken but no customers who were staying at the hotel went to eat there (at least I never saw any hotel customers there). I did mention to Mario about eating there but he was evasive about the matter. I do not know why. Mario, the owner of Costa Lunga did try to open the restaurant year round but, from what I heard, found it to be too much work so after trying to get other people to set up a restaurant, only to fail, time and time again, he simply stopped having one year round. The hotel, as I was informed by someone, was originally built by Mario's father, who passed away so Mario took it over.

He now has a jet sky business, and other real estate, that he works with. He appears to serve many Italians from his country. The times I was there I saw him, every so often, with a group of Italians. Mario, in other words, is not making money solely through Costa Lunga. He has other ventures.

The day to day operation was run by his wife and sister in law. His sister in law moved to New Jersey with her husband so I am guessing that the wife is now doing most of the business there. Mario used to pass by two to three times a week but never stayed too long.

As for selling apartments I did notice this since some of the buyers I happen to know or have met on my trips there.

Many hotels do not like mongers and try to move away from this crowd but cannot do so since mongers bring in so much business. The truth of the matter is that most of the problems in chica friendly hotels involves chicas with mongers. This is also true with hotels in Sosua. I've talked to some of the owners of these hotels and they said the same thing. Most of the problems involve chicas and mongers. That said, Rit Teach, I am thinking of going to Boca Chica soon. Any chica friendly hotel you can recommend to me besides Costa Lunga and Candil? I am actually more familiar with hotels in Sosua than in Boca Chica.

I usually stay at the Costalunga while in Boca Chica and highly recommend it. Not the best place I ever stayed but worth the $40 per night. The Costalunga is very girl friendly.

The rooms on the ground floor are two bedrooms with a stove and fridge. The ones on the pool side were very quite when I stayed there. The last two trips I was on the second floor facing west and there was a lot of noise on the street until about 1:00 AM. I believe there is a bar about half a block West of the hotel. One of the motococho guys said there were girls there but I never checked it out.
