Posts: 79Boca chica hotel normally cost $20-30. 20-25$ without air condition and 25-30 with air condition. Renting room from italian owned apartment begin with 10 $ without air condition. If you speak or want to speak spanish, just walk round, you will find it. If you do not speak spanish or you want to speak english, just go the hotel recommended here which geared to english speaking tourist and cost at least 50$. I just returned and stayed residencia elizabath beside hotel mango. The apartment hotel room consists of one bed room apartments with air condition, kitchen, and cable tv. The price is 25$.

This seems like a good range extender.
I ordered both cause I had issues with wifi in the past and in the DR you need to be a wifi wizard or you may be outa luck.

Rather, the best way to go to Sosua from BC, without renting a car?

The apt you stayed in you say it was really funky. I is an old timer. Does your funky mean it was a cool, laid back, on the money apt......or does your funky mean it was funky like in smelling bad, looking like a shit hole. Please advise.
Last comment, I truly understand discretion. There are certain hotels that are really just nice to stay at but they do not tolerate the comings and goings of dressed like hard core puta chicas. I like the "use with discretion" hotels.
Have you ever stayed at Hotel Zapata? Neptunos and Zapata are the only two beach front hotels I know of that are chica friendly. If you have stayed at both how would you compare them?
