The power generating capacity of the non-bankrupt power companies in the DR is about 50-60% of demand and as such they are doing rolling blackouts country wide- as much as 12 hours a day.

Stay at a good hotel with a good generator and carry a flashlight ( I recommend the LED ones for brightness and battery life) and it is just like Boca Chica was when I first went there in 1998, power for 4 hours in a row, tops. And it is so costly sometimes you will see Hamaca Resort in BC running diesel even when the power is on the grid.

On a moonless night it is so dark you cannot see 10 feet ahead of you on the streets - point the light AT cars and motos coming at you as you walk.

I enjoy reading your reports. Although you seem to catch on quicker than many others, you are still very green around the gills. Please just take any criticism I may dish out as constructive because that is how it is intended. I want to help make your future trips more enjoyable. I have been to the DR nine times in the last two years and know what I am talking about. First of all, you are overpaying the girls. 1000 pesos means nothing to you and me but to a girl who would be lucky to get a job bartending or waitressing for 3000 pesos per MONTH, 1000 pesos is a lot of money to get in one shot. The only reason why they ask for a lot of money is because they think you are rich and dumb enough to pay it. Please do not continue to overpay in this way because then the girls will expect more from the rest of us. I generally try to pay around $15 dollars and never more than $20. Additionally, after I do a girl once, the second time, I cut the price in half. If she dosen't like it, I get another girl.
Also, if a girl tells you that you don't have to pay her, then don't pay her. I don't care how the rest of the story develops, you made a mistake in paying her. Now she thinks you don't value money.

Every girl says their birthday is tomorrow. That is a big lie and you should have seen that coming a mile away. Those girls thought you guys were bigtime suckers when you took them birthday shopping. The only reason they took you to their shack was to evoke sympathy. They were looking for a handout and they got it. They played you guys for chumps. These girls dont have much money but what they make from guys like us, they blow on clothes, make-up, beer, cigarettes and drugs. Don't feel sorry for them because one of them brought you back to her tin shack and showed you her barefoot son. I can guarantee you that within hours of you visiting her shack, she was sucking her Dominican boyfriends dick and the two of them were drinking beer bought with your pesos.

I am sorry if I sounded harsh but I want to be honest with you. It is your money and you will do with it what you like. However, I have found that when these girls realize they can't scam you, thats when they really like you because they develop respect for you. The guys they can drain, they have zero respect for. It's a game they play. Like I said before, I have been to the DR many times, I speak Spanish, and you would not believe what these girls say behind guys backs. Guys just like you.

I heard on the north coast Santiago is being hit the hardest.

Regarding the picture you posted.

Did you take that picture yourself? With a honey like that, I am pretty sure that's not the only picture you took, right? I am confident to say that most of us would like to see more of her. Care to share?

As a semi-professional photographer, I also would have some technical questions. What kind of camera do you use? This picture looks very professionally lighted to me... Certainly off camera flash, multiple light sources in all likelihood, in counter light. Let me know, to increase my photography skills. Please elaborate.

I am especially impressed with the compositional quality of everything., just so much superior to what you generally see on this board. Especially the soft diffusion effect, so softcore. Everything except for the picture frame in the left, who I would have cropped out.

In the photo you have posted, there is a wonderful example of a scar left as a result of a laproscopic procedure.

Note in the middle of the young lady's armpit. That is where the Laproscope was inserted for the purpose of inserting a breast implant. The implant, in deflated form is pushed down the tube into position and is then filled with either saline or silicone gel. Her other armpit has a matching scar. A very clean, nearly invisible breast augmentation.

Such work in the DR is rare. In fact, implants in general are very rare for three reasons. First the poverty. Second, the high-carb and high-fat diet in the DR naturally leads to big tits. And last but not least, the frighteningly early age at which women start having babies in the DR.

Atl Dennis. Have you ever checked out a club called Santo Domingo? It is in Norcross on Jimmy Carter. Dominican hangout. I only stopped in once during the day, but the bartender who was from Moca said the place is jamming on fri and sat nights.

Just an FYI in case you need some Dominican flavor while in ATL.

I'll check it out my next trip to ATL.

Yeah I have heard of it but the place lost it's liquor license and there are a few new Latin Spots here in Atlanta that are hot as well, but not with that specific Dominican Flavor however, next time you stop through ATL PM and I will put let you know about specific spots to go to.

Ahhhh just back from a long 9 days in Miami, Boca Chica and Santo Domingo, I have alot to write down and to address. Let the story begin, 10 young guys (Under 25) in Boca Chica for 4 days and Santo Domingo for 4 days, It was a excellent time had by all and I will post tommorow evening on all the details on the action and great times had by all, for keep in mind, little to no money ($0-$15) for the absolute in best that Boca Chica had to offer. then I will continue in the Santo Domingo section where I have regular professional women in various occupations as well as students and no money was even discussed nor was a issue since they have there own and do very well in Santo Domingo. I had great luck in the Casino not only on the tables but with the women for FREE at the Lovely Renaissance Jaragua Hotel & Casino where we stayed in Ocean Front Tower Rooms Thursday-Sunday.

Perhaps its just me, but I think Homey-Speak (HS) should be use between familiar "Partners", and not in a public forum like WSG.
