15 years ago white guys from all over the world dominated Sosua. I guess it is the black guys turn to have some fun. Good luck in Caberreti.

Posts: 454I very much enjoy Caberete because of the nice mix of people. I do not stay in Sosua it's loud and dirty I especially not fond of the type of people that flock when I use to go there 15 years ago it was good now I prefer Caberete yes it cost more but that keeps the rift raff away. .

No women work there as far as I know.
In the past it was a good spot to take a waitress. That is, someone who wants to spend time with you, but can't be seen hanging out with a foreigner. In my experience, flirting with local women in Cabarete, sometimes everything hangs on having a discrete room and way to get there without locals seeing you (I. E. Your own car or a trusted cab at night).
However, these girls were from Sosua; we traveled together along the north coast for a couple of days. You can find them on the beach in Sosua. The girl on the left speaks some Spanish and a little less English, her friend only speaks Creole. I did pull a local Cabarete girl off the street and took her to this spot in December last year. There are less expensive, less discrete spots around. These girls seemed impressed with the room though; they yanked out their phones and started taking photographs of themselves; it was really fun.

Can you provide more info about the love motel on the east of Cabarete that you are referring to? The east is too long of a stretch. What is the name and address? And about the chicas in the pic? Did you bring those chicas in or do they work there?

Tempoecorto,
It is true that friends and family can help a great deal with introductions. However, the type of introductions that good friends and family are more prone to find are for long term committed relationship types, not what I want now. I don't think a really good friend or family member is the one that will be helping one get hookers. Also, what kind of friend is that that will be helping a female friend or family member to date a gringo or foreign guy so that the friend gets played by the gringo or foreight guy. I grew up in DR Santiago till I was 20 years old. That was like 25 years ago. Back then going to brothels or finding hookers was not the norm and was some type of aberration that many did, but discreetly. An uncle took me to a brothel in Santiago when I was 16, but he asked me then not to tell my mother or anyone. Although it seems from staying in Sosua or Boca Chica and seeing so many chicas and guys looking for them and because it also legal that getting the chicas is normal, it is still considered a lifestyle of the perverted. The perception of most foreigh people also changes from being on those chica populated places and I noticed that many think that all Dominican women are putas or chicas and this is not true at all. From the time I was living there till today, I can see that prostitution has grown greatly, but it is still not view in the Dominican society as a good thing. Many local guys like to play the games and find chicas for themselves, but this is still something that is done by the local guys very discreetly (also many brag about things they don't actually do and you may get the perception that they are players but they just talk bull shit and don't do shit) as no one wants it to be known that that they visit brothels frequently or go to Sosua or other places to get hookers. Or just try this experiment, try to assimilate the society, move to a nice middle class or upper class neighborhood, and tell people that you are a gringo that goes to DR to pay for chicas, bring the chicas in to the neighborhood, be opened about it, and see how people will react. You will be called soon "el gringo de las putas" and will soon be an outcast despised in the neighborhood. The chicas will still love you though and Sosua will still receive you with open arms. Introductions with Dominican women for long term relationships is not my thing as for now I am happy as a free monger interested in exploring the world, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, the phylipines, European chicas, etc and not just the DR chicas. As your name implies, time is short, therefore we have to make the most of it and enjoy it.

I think that The prices of Cabarete chicas are similar to Sosua. It all depends on how much you willing to pay, your negotiating skills, and also the girl's look and her price range. Some girls will go with you for less than $20 dollars or less if you are looking for cheap girls. I found girls willing to go with you for 500 pesos or something like 13 dollars.
Some asking for 3000 pesos or 70 dollars. I usually don't take the cheap one because they are usually not that good looking. The Hatians will go for almost anything you give them in you like hatians. For myself, I like nice looking and light Dominican chicas and I am not that cheap when I find one that I like. Also don't like to overpay. I tend to pay $40 or $50 for a nice one or even more when I find a pretty and sweet Gem.

In this trip, my plan was just to visit the DR and see different places. I found Cabarete to be a great base to visit other parts of the countries as well as to enjoy the.
Beach and the chica environment. Also I wanted to learn surfing, but my plan changed after I burned my back the first day then I concentrated my efforts in the Chicas. I was born in Santiago but most of my family migrated to the USA 25 year ago or more. Also no longer have a connection with my old friends therefore that was not a.
Priority for me. Women variety and prettyness is much better in Santiago but the Chica environment there is very limited compared to Cabarete or Sosua. Also I found the Chica athmosphere in Sosua to be too much for me, and noticed too many tigres (tigers) as Dominican call the delinquents and huslers there, therefore I preferred.
Cabarete to Sosua. The overly friendly guy in Cabarete was just an experience that taught me not to associate or befriend too much the local low class or any class of.
Friendly people or huslers. Those guys or girls are everywhere in the Island. I visited friends and family in Santiago and Santo Domingo thought but came back the same.
Day to continue enjoying the Cabarete experience. One thing I loved about Cabarete besides the Chicas was the transportation of Guaguas, the small Cars and Caribe.
Tours or the Metro could connect you easily to towns (capital, Santiago, Samana, etc) nearby and far away and then you could come back before dark easily. I Did not.
Venture into renting a car after seeing how terrible people drive and after finding how accessible was the public transportation. I don't mind getting into a crowded.
Guagua or Car and found it to be much safer than being alone with an unknown guy in a Motoconco or a regular Taxi. The family and friends I had in the DR are not into.
Mongering or would find my lifestyle disgusting, besides they were just going to take my time away if I decided to stay with them. I will be back again to the DR to.
Continue exploring the Island from a good base like I was in Cabarete and just onmy own as I did. And I still need to learn how to surf and Cabarete seems to be a good place to learn surfing.
