I am a regular at BB and and writing this from the BB bar right now. Rainy day as hurricane Earl is offshore and passing by. Place is running very well. Selection of chicas is very strong and while I liked Rosealba, I must say the team of Cristal and Janet as mamasans is very good. Cristal very organized and the girls like her. Good assortment of young and relatively new girls including this hot chick named Biance who just started this week. Smoking face and body with tramp stamp. I have not done her but others gave a good report. Also of note in that Field of Dreams has been sold to some American owner who is planning on reopening as some establishment involving chicas. I cannot tell whether inclusive or not but several old FOD girls told me that the new owner has called them proposing some employment. Most girls taking a wait and see attitude since they know it will take time to reestablish under a new name etc. I also hear that Randall, the former manager of FOD, who did a good job, is involved with the new owners. Drove by and the FOD sign is gone and they seem to be clearing fields around the hotel. Maybe expanding? For sure something to watch.

FOD becoming a private club affiliated with a men's magazine? An interesting story - I can't help, however, visualizing a "time-share cathouse".

Whatever the new owners do in those regards, I hope they do bring in Randall; he surely knows the place, the potential problems, etc. (I met him only briefly during my June visit to POP - now I really wish I'd split my time between Blackbeard's and FOD. Oh well, 20/20 hindsight.)

Tapping the just-departed staff does seem to make a lot better business sense than flying in a bunch of blonde, leggy FSU girls, no matter if it challenges some punters' "masturbatory fantasies". If the club does well enough and the "rich [members]" are still hungry for the Kiev types, they can always upgrade in the future, can't they?

FoD has been sold to the owners of a "men's magazine" (Playboy type). I was told the name but had never heard of it and have since forgotten it. "Playdate"?

It will be run as a members only club, no walk-ins. They already have one or more similar clubs (one in Costa Rica?) and members are entitled to spend time at any of them.

Randall facilitated the purchase (although I understand a realtor originally bring the buyers and sellers together) and is well placed to advise the new owners. I don't know if that means he will necessarily have a continuing position there.

If the new owners are indeed tapping up former FoD chicas it looks as if I was not far off the mark with my earlier speculation.

No doubt the best of [the former FoD chicas] will work for the new owners and give the same service at double the price to the rich [members] who will be their target market.

... except that I used another word for "members" which I now regret as being uncalled for.

As for clearing the fields around the hotel, if that does anything to reduce the mosquito problem there it can only be for the good, but I guess the real reason is to create volleyball and tennis courts, etc., which such places seem to think their clients require. (Not sure why, myself.)

Cristal is the Costa Rican chica that wins a lot of bikini contests, she likes to do summersaults. She is very high energy in EVERYTHING she does. I once gave her a five hour energy drink big mistake she FU***NG killed me, she didn't need it.

Is there a resturant or bar on the beach in Costambar that the expats meet at on a regular basis?

I thought I remember reading that somewhere on this forum, I went back almost a year but couldn't find anything.

As much info as you could give me would be appreciated.
