I just booked a flight to POP for a long weekend (Thurs. Afternoon through Monday afternoon) during the second week of Feb. (7. 11). I originally planned to go to BB and the end of Feb. But they were full so I scooped up the earlier date. Here's the rub. I visited the DR way back in the earlier 90s with my parents and family but, obviously, did no mongering. I'm looking to get my feet wet and the "fish in a barrel" setup seems like a good starting point. Having said that my question is this. I want to experience a taste of Sousa, especially LaPassion's as the vets on this board attest that Peter's joint is off the hinges. I also think that a night at Mustang ranch would be cool as it includes a Cristal's chica. Lastly, given that this trip is a "sampler", I was thinking that a night at New Garden might also serve well as you vets testify to it's reliability and central location. What do you guys think, am I being to ambitious. Should I just spend the whole trip at BBs or MR? In the event that you think my game plan IS feasible, let me know how you think that I should arrange/stagger it.

Well, my two cents.
You have four nights in DR.
Instead of jumping from literally "one-night stands" in 3-4 places, pick one and thoroughly get to know the place, explore the local area, and relax.
You can't get to know anyplace in one night.

Blackbeards is a good choice for a first time. Lots more control in terms of the girls, etc. In Sosua you're on your own, and lacking much experience or Spanish, you have to be careful.
If you like, take a cab from BB in Costambar to Mustang Ranch (about 15 min. & 20 bucks) and check it out for next time. Cristal's the bar/brothel is in Puerto Plata and you could check that out one evening the same way.

Maybe try a week in Sosua on your next trip, when you have a means of comparing girls, service, prices, etc.
And remember, in Sosua, you're on your own, so read-up and learn about the pitfalls in advance.

Just wanted to ask anyone who has a reservation, but has changed their plans and is no longer going to please call and cancel so the rooms can be opened up for me and any others who might be on the waiting list. That, or you can just give up your room because you think I'm a cool guy.

If we can't get at BB's during that time, we may either stay at New Garden in Sosua or just reschedule for a couple weeks later in order to partake in the Bikini Contest at BB's. Thanks in advance!

This could solve your problem. The orignal Field of Dreams was a great place to stay and the owner is the same, an old DR hand, Bill Lane.

The place is in Puerto Plata, VERY chica-friendly, and close enough to be a short cab ride to BB for picking up a girl "to go".

Mustang seems cheaper, and BBs definitely is unless you can drink bottles of shelf liquor every day.

I've been to Vikings, I've been to The Xotic Beachhouse, I've been to BBs, and I've been to a shitload of other places, and I must tell you, before you die, you simply MUST go to a good FKK in Germany (I recommend OASE near Frankfurt). My visit is Jan 1-4th. I will have a report as well.

I did not take the pictures. They were taken by a professional photographer who was there to take pictures for Oxygen's website. However, all the pictures I posted were of girls that were there when I was. All of the pictures that I took clearly showed their faces but the girls were not keen about having their pictures taken. If I learn how to blur the face in a picture I will post my pictures.

Very good comment Ponderosa and I agree completely. Having spent time at Vikings and an all inclusive place in Venezuela, I have now been to BBs some 12 times over the past 3-4 years. It is the best combination of action and value you can find. I have not been to Oxygen but it cannot be much different than Viking which was nice but wildly overpriced. The service you will get from the chicas at BBs is miles better especially if you are relatively generous with tips, drinks etc and have a good reputation in bed. I usually rent a car on the BB trips now as gives flexibility to go into town or Sosua/Cabarete for a change of pace if desired. I will be back in mid March. Anyone else at BB around that time?
