I noticed that one of the chicas in the pictures is Ibel that used to work at BB's. She supposedly got taken to Canada by one of her love struck customers last year. I guess it didn't work out. I had a threesome with her and Yohanny that was one of the best I have ever had,definitely in my top five of all time,they loved going down on each other,what a memorable session.

Thanks to Juan Doe for the great pictures and the link to the FOD web site! I checked out the FOD site and it looked very good. It needs a bit more information on the rooms and rates along with the size of the beds in the different rooms but over all was a very good start. The pictures were very nice as well. I assume that each room has AC...I may have missed that info on the web site.

The Bikini Contest had many many familiar faces from BB's! I hope that this is the start of something good. I was leaning towards going to Costa Rica in June or July for 6-10 days but now I will give FOD a chance.

Anyone have plans to go to FOD during those months? Send me a PM and let me know. It would be nice to see some more familiar faces from BB's at FOD.

All the rooms have AC and they still work when the main power goes out, unlike BB's.

Anyone go and take some photos that they could share of BB's 100 Bikini contest? If no photos how was it? Is the changes going on at BB's good or bad? Are there many new faces? Is FOD Field of Dreams getting the girls that have been let go by BB's? I am going in July and am wondering if any of my old Faves are now at FOD. Anyone know the current line up at FOD?

Seems to me BB management may have rocked the boat just a little too much.

In an effort to nickel and dime a few more profits out of the business they changed enough to alienate their some key staff/employees. Now there seems to be a viable competitor on the horizon.

Only good can come out of a little competition… for the patron anyway.

Thanks for the report Manizales - very good. As a long time BB patron I will plan to try in next time I am down there - maybe split my time between there and BB. I have also spoken to a few of my regular girls one of whom has switched from BB to FOD. She told me that lots of the BB girls that John got rid of in the past few months are now at FOD and that the place is fun. She talked of wet t-shirt parties and striptease shows and said that because it is more private than BB, they girls can get naked/topless in the pool and be a lot more crazy than John lets them do at BB. I suppose how wild reflects how many guests, but this weekend apparently there were 10-12 guys there. I do not know what the rate for the chica's is but I assume not much diff than BB which is around 1500 for short time and 2500 for TDN. Can anyone provide clarity on that? It may be a bit more subject to negotiation. Sounded like the girls all pay the mamasan a few hundred pesos share for every guy they get. My girl Elizabeth (Baby) seems to like it a lot as not as many rule as BB.

In terms of location, FOD is nowhere but so pretty much is BB - you need to taxi or car to go dancing etc. From that perspective FOD location across from Playa Dorado is more convenient for Sosua, Cabarete, the disco or even downtown Puerto Plata than BB which is located west of the city in Costambar. On plus with BB is that you can walk to the beach which is not possible at FOD. I would love to hear more feedback on this place.

As far as the place being fun, maybe I caught an off week but I never saw any topless girls or any contests of any kind, not one person stepped in the pool the entire time I was there. As I put in my report the place has major potential but as of three weeks ago it was pretty dead there. I will return but I'm bringing my own party just in case!

The isolation of FOD may not be all that bad. There is an increasing number of guests that like the privacy. It is true there are more options with in walking distance from BB's but more and more clients staying at BB's are renting a car or sharing the expenses with others so they can do more.The girls at BB's as a general rule are NOT happy with many (any) of the new policys not to mention the fees they must pay monthly to work there and the fines including the exit fees that they (we) pay when a client is not staying there. They are not as "independent" as (we) the clients are led to believe, in fact just the opposite is true.

I am not bashing BB's but the place has survived because there has been no viable competition from a similar operation. FOD may just be able to offer that competition. The girls will go where the business is. Given the opportunity to make similar (or better) money in a less oppressive enviornment than BB's the girls will leave as fast as thier scooters will take them.

As a BB's veteran of 18+ trips in the past 3 years I will try FOD this summer for a week or so. As their client numbers increase and more girls are at FOD I am sure the girls can get in contact with any of the girls from BB's.

Just my thoughts on the subject. I am looking forward to reading additional reports as more of us check the place out.

I do have one question, since the chica's were doing separate negotiations, what was the prices like?

I spent my entire stay with the two girls that I had arranged to meet me there. They don't work there. The only girl I took to my room that worked there was that girl Eliza, she was gorgeous but was the worst performer I have had in my entire life. She never talked money to me, I threw her 1500 and kicked her to the curb.
