I'll let you know what I want to help you help me:

-Also my favorite is the beach at night alone with chica just chilling. The beach is realy important thing for me.

R: Apart from the resorts, who have armed guard to protect the beach, don't even think about going to the beach at night, wanted to do so last week, but was warned by the Girls that I could have my throat cut. We were 3 guys and 4 girls seated at the same table and the 4 chichas had the same reaction. My company for the night made sure that I understood that I would take my walk alone, should I decide to go.

-Don't mind paying a little bit more to avoid beeiing with a not so great looking one.

R: Have seen again last week at BB, a lot of 5-6 but also some 7-8 even one 9 starting at 11 A. M. You have a choice of about 8 to 10 up to 15 to 20 at night and that was at the beginning of the week, so I presume that there are more during week ends.

-Don't mind if the resort is calm or with not much people. I'm a one man party =),

-don't mind paying a little extra for a better room

R: Again talking about what I know, BB has one room with Jacuzzi and if you want more space a double bedroom for $100. 00/day

-I like the (friendly to our hobby) resort since I'm new a this

Anyway here is my question for those who can help me

-According to what I'm looking for I'd settle for mustang ranch but there is no accurate review. Or is there an even better resort somewhere in DR?

R; Mustang, from what I have read are the same owner as Crystal, which is a Strip club downtown Puerto Plata, you can go up-stairs with any of the Dancing Queen, but the price is steep at $100. 00/US for one hour. Keep in mind that the company included in your Mustang Deal is for 4 Hours per day.

-How far away are mustang and bb by cab? (in case it sucks and I gotta moove)

R: About 20 minutes by cab, 25 max. Be ready to sweat if you are not used to rough driving, I can assure you that you can pass 3 car wide on a 2 lane road. Learn that in D. R. (P.S. I would never rent a car there) The cost is about 800 RDP. P. M. Me if you want the name and ph# of a reliable cab driver. Not the better english but enough to be understood. The kid is about 22 years old and drive his father's cab usually at night.

-And how much avrage is a all nighter? BB compared to mustang R: All nighter at BB is about 3500 RDP, Happy hour is 1200 RDP some will negotiate those prices, your choice.

-Wich has the best beach access R: at B. B. The beach is about 5 min walk, but as said Daytime only.

-Basicaly I don't mind spending a few hundred (3 or 4) more during my week for more quality

-Don't mind walking on a big resort beach with my chica on my arm. (no family, fully single and like to show off).

-Also my favorite is the beach at night alone with chica just chilling.The beach is realy important thing for me.

-I almost don't drink at the bar I bring my own from the duty free (althoug don't mind paying the all inclusive bar charge)

-I like to be able to eat good food near the beach don't mind paying as long as it is not out of hand. Late night food is a must,

-Will be looking to stay like 7 or 8 days

-Don't mind paying a little bit more to avoid beeiing with a not so great looking one.

-I like to have a LOT of choice. Somewhere where they don't run out often=)

-Don't mind if the resort is calm or with not much people. I'm a one man party =),

-I see that it's between BB and Mustang as for the FULLY DEVOTED PLACE TO OUR HOBBY. But I was wondering if their was other in that genre and range of price. Lets say in sosua (forget viking, etc.)

Ps: From the mustang site their special is 358 for 3 days and 716 for 5 days it seems to get MORE expensive the more days you take witch does not make sense.

Take kids to Sosua? Are you serious man? The putas are all over the place all day long. You really want to expose young children to that kind of an environment?
Go somewhere nice and enjoy the time with your kids, like Disneyworld. Then, take another vacation to PutaWorld with your buddy and leave the kids at home.

Is Puerto Palata better than Sousa for action?

We tried Velero Hotel but they are completely booked out.

Instead we are looking at staying at Sousa by the Sea but from the reports I am reading it is not "chica friendly".

If you decide you want to stay your last night at BB's and they are full. Ask them about a waiting list or make sure they know when you arrive you would like anything that opens up last min. Often times there is a last min. cancellation you can get.

Take the taxi that BB's will arrange. They are on time and have a sign with your name on it waiting for you. Trust me when you arrive it is a circus out front. You are excited and ready to go and you will not want to wait any longer to start your good time.

There is no better feeling than to arrive at BB's to welcome that makes you feel like Norm from Cheers.

Was getting dead bored at the resort last Sunday, took your advice to call BB just in case they had last minute cancellation. Effectively they had a basic room available from Sunday night to Tuesday night. Not much to add about BB, as everything has been written about them, only that they were up to par on everything that was previously said or written about them.

Javier the owner and everybody have been outstanding, and I enjoyed every minutes I have spent there, shooting the shit with other fellows mongers.

Definitively on my list to go again later this year.

I've booked a trip to oxygen retreat and I am Asian. I was wonder if an Asian person would be recieved well in Dominican Republic? Will I have problems at O2 in terms of having fun or being in the company of these lovely ladies?

This is the Dominican Republic. You are going to a place that will not require you to need any type of game. You are paying a very high price for being in one of the ultimate "spoon fed" environments available there.

Trust me, the only color that those at O2 will see (as well as in most of the DR) in "gringo's" is GREEN, as in cash. If you are going to O2 you have GREEN.

I'm just back from a great long weekend at Harbor View Condos, by way of thanks to Billy for being such a great host I just wanted to mention his new place here. Billy used to own the Field of Dreams Hotel... he now has a few condos for rent on a hill overlooking downtown Puerto Plata (a few minutes walk from Caribe Tours etc)

Condos can be rented daily, weekoly or monthly for about the same price as a hotel room. There's a sports bar with food on site, plus pool.

Obviously not for point n click activity like Blackbeards, but I recommend Harbor View for anyone looking for a little more independence and privacy but still good company around (both chicas and other mongers)

Only thing I've noticed is that if someone else is splitting the taxi with you, and you have to wait on them, you could be in danger of missing the bikini contest if you arrive on Saturday on the American Airlines flight that gets in at like 3:50pm. In that case, I would take one of the awaiting taxis. As well, if they're raising the prices like I've heard, I'll probably still take an awaiting taxi. Especially if alone!

Just for Curiosity if any body knows how much is a taxi ride from BB s to Sosua and how long will it take to get there.

I walked from BB's to the Costambar gate. I paid US$1 for the shared taxi to Separacion & Beeler Streets in downtown Puerto Plata. Thereafter, I paid US$1 for the shared taxi to Sosua.

And I sent a reservation request in to Mustang Ranch for my last night, but if it turns out that there's no vacancies, I'll definitely be double checking with BB's about any new openings when I arrive.

I read you will be at BB in early March. I will be at BB from Mar 5 to 9. You there at that time? If so look me up. I am John from NY and have been there 15 times over the past 4 years. I usually rent a car rather than use the taxi service as know my way around and have a regular novia and that makes it cheaper than all the taxis.
