I am not cheap but if you spend the same amt per day at BB on chicas, drinks, food and presents as you do at Oxygen you can have a non-stop orgy party with a bunch of chicas for the whole day or at least until you collapse! I have taken his cue of treating the girls right, developing a good reputation with the chicas and having a good attitude, and have seen it pay huge dividends.

Once word spreads you are a nice guy that treats the chicas right (and these girls do talk about such things while they are sitting around all day), you will find the the chicas falling all over themselves when you pick them for service, especially TLN. Well, my two cents.

You have four nights in DR.

Instead of jumping from literally "one-night stands" in 3-4 places, pick one and thoroughly get to know the place, explore the local area, and relax.
You can't get to know anyplace in one night.

Blackbeards is a good choice for a first time. Lots more control in terms of the girls, etc. In Sosua you're on your own, and lacking much experience or Spanish, you have to be careful.

If you like, take a cab from BB in Costambar to Mustang Ranch (about 15 min. & 20 bucks) and check it out for next time. Cristal's the bar/brothel is in Puerto Plata and you could check that out one evening the same way.

Maybe try a week in Sosua on your next trip, when you have a means of comparing girls, service, prices, etc.

And remember, in Sosua, you're on your own, so read-up and learn about the pitfalls in advance.

I agree. I went to DR for the first time in this November, despite recommendation that I should try BB as a newbie, I went to SOSUA and stayed my week there. You should try to relax and get to know the place, the girls will throw themselves at your eventually just from seeing you a few times. You can walk around the main strip, relax at the beach, get a massage, and at night just go to the disco's or to the bar.

Not sure what BB's is like but I'll check it out next time. I saw a girl on the BB newsletter that caught my eye, I'll add her to the list I'm already making of the girls there that I've seen. You can find quality girls in sosua, granted there will always be girls who don't strike your interest but there is definitely something for everyone there.

As a good member on this board told me before its really up to your preference, do you want to hunt out the girls or do you want them all to be available for you to choose. A guy I spoke to on my trip said that he didn't like BB's because he felt trapped once night fall hit.

SOSUA is a non stop party from like 8 pm until the following morning, often 4 to 6am. BB's seems to have fun activities though like Pajama Party, Bikini contest, bikini volleyball, wet T shirt contest, etc. Really up to what your interests are and how you want to pursue it.

I found the "quality" difference between Oxygen and BB's to be strictly in their physical appearance,not performance.As with anyplace I've been there are bad performers and great performers but the chicas at Oxygen seemed pretty bored with being there as they are not allowed to leave.I always take chicas from BB's out of there to either a restaurant or a local bar for a couple hours they really appreciate it.Also the other guys staying at Oxygen tend to be very laid back,at least when I was there.I like a little bit of a party atmosphere which usually is the case at BB's especially if you are willing to be the one to get it started.

I don't know man. I was there a total of 4 nights 3 days and spent $1210 USD total. I know this because I initially went down with a budget of $1740 USD and came back to the US with $530 left.

And this was after having a total of 8 women, with two being from Sosua (Classico's), paying my tab at BB's (three meals a day plus drinks; lots of Rum Punches), and being hustled by taxis's and the bag guys at the airport.

I plan to come out even cheaper in March since I will be at ground zero of the action (Sosua).

So I don't know. I guess everyone has their own "style" when it comes to mongering.

You sure you looked at my photos correctly? If the photos I posted of the girls are "thin" then (the photos of) the Oxygen girls must be "super rail thin."

P.S. Fake boobs or no boobs; doesn't matter with me. Hips and ass are more of my thing. I'll take a flat-chested broad with a nice firm, plump ass and curves than a big-chested, chicken-legs, flat-ass, unshapely woman any day.

I will agree with Savepros on the numbers. I have been to both Vikings and Oxygen and been to BB's three times and BB's is significantly less expensive. On the extreme end of the spectrum, I did the Xoticbeachhouse in Cartagena, CO. And spent five times what a trip of same length to BB's would cost, different country and dominicanas can't even begin to compare to colombianas but the cost difference is ridiculous. Bang for the buck whether you go to BB's or go to Sosua and "hunt" on your own it will cost much less than any AI in the DR.

Do yourself a favor and avoid going to Sosua during your visit, for you will become highly pissed off once you find out that I, as well as other mongerers on this board, can snatch up one of those same chicas from the "all inclusives" on her day off for a helluva lot less at places like Classico's and Latinos. Have fun!

I never did respond to this so now is the time I guess.

I have spent about a totaling of 2 months in Sosua across 4 different vacations. This was after doing O2 and BB and looking over the girls working at those places. Not once have I seen any of the AI girls moonlighting on the Sosua scene. The closest I came was seeing one of the O2 girls in a van while a driver filled his gas tank. (We grinned at each other before she was whisked off)

I am sure you "could" get an AI girl moonlighting for a much lower price. But the thing is:

1) You would never know she was an AI girl because you would never pay to see which girls work there in the first place.
2) I believe the chances are low finding an AI girl. Not a single girl in about 60 different days of my mongering anyway.
3) I would think that if an AI girl was busy in the resort banging guys 7 days straight the last thing she would want to do is use her days off to bang even more guys.

So you "could" but I think the chances are low you "would".

Let me respectfully add this: You can find good GFE from local girls. I met one and had lunch with her and her relatives after getting the house tour. Knowing Spanish was a must.

I did well in Puerto Plata with the locals. Please keep in mind that not everything gets posted on the Board. For example, because I interact with local girls, I do not post their pictures for obvious reasons.

Very good point about not posting pictures as I totally understand. My point is that for a regular tourist (especially middle aged like myself that don't speak spanish) it doesn't sound like there are many success stories with locals in Puerto Plata. I don't consider Classico's and the spots in Sosua to be locals (I. E. Non-pro) and from the pictures that I've seen I would have no interest in the ladies at Blackbeards.

So fellow board members, how about sharing your success stories in non-pro nightspots in Puerto Plata. I would like to hear about them as I am sure other members would too (no pics necessary).

People that I've met at AI's aren't looking down on anyone, at least I can definitely say that for myself. Maybe we have a few extra bucks and like a worry free, spoon fed experience but that doesn't mean that I/We look down on anyone. Conversely, my dream would be a GFE with a good looking local, non hard pro. Just not interested in roaming the town by myself taking the chance that I MIGHT find someone that fits the bill.

I must admit that I am in no way "experienced." I've only been to DR once, and it was a stay at BB's. That's about as spoon fed you can get!

I didn't mean to single you out, SavePros321. I didn't even notice that both of the top quotes were yours. I understand your opinions, and I respect them. I go solo myself quite often. But I am comfortable with international travel and I speak decent Spanish. I also am not a voracious consumer.

However for a guy who drinks a lot and fucks a lot, Blackbeard's can be as expensive as the all-inclusives. I've heard the tales of guys who ran up their bar tab into the hundreds of dollars just buying drinks for girls one night. There was even a warning about some of the girls who bought drinks for their friends on their date's tab. Add in three meals a day for you and your girls, plus transportation to the casino, the discos, the airport, and you can tally up quite the bill. Not to mention the cost of your fun in the bedroom. Oh, and the jacuzzi fee (!).

At Oxygen, I believe their rate includes four "encounters" per day, with up to four different ladies. Or you can have two ladies, plus a TLN with a third. At My Wild Vacation you only get one companion, but she is with you for 24 hours -- how many times you do it is up to you and her.

I guess I just like the idea of knowing that If I don't too much care for the talent at the resort, I can always go out in town and find exactly what I am looking for.

Totally understandable. Why choose from among 15-20 girls when you have a whole town full to hunt in? On the other hand, I'm as interested in a girl's personality, so it is nice to live with them at the villa 24/7 so I have a chance to meet them before I choose (except for the first night).

P.S. If the AI's should start to stack their ponds with ducks like these below, then they'd definitely grab ahold of my attention (and wallet). That kind of quality would be the only way I could justify the expense.
