Short time at Cristals is $100 US but they may try for more. This is around 3300 pesos with the bar share being 1300.

At night they seem to hit you for $43 US or close to 1400 pesos salida (bar share/exit fee).

Overnight varies a lot but you have to pay the salida and the chica.

For the chicas, I think 2500 would be the low end and 4000 or so the upper end.
Shouldn't be too tough to get one for 3000.

Show the chicas a good time and repeat business and you may find one for much less.

1. BB: Puerto Plata has two bars/strip clubs, Crystals and El Bohen. EB is moslty locals. Crystals is more for guys sneaking away from the family at the all-inclusive for an (expensive) quickie.
MR: Same, both are on the outskirts of Puerto Plata.

2. BB has a pretty, quiet, relaxing beach 5 min. walk away. MR is inland, and just has the pool.

3. Both are outside Puerto Plata. Just walk the streets or along the Malecon (beach promenade) in POP. Personally, I prefer the pros, as everything is up front and more honest. I'd rather not screw up the life of a "normal" girl. With a pro, you save so much time too, no wooing or courting to get her into bed.

5/6. BB: Biggest plus, its all there in one spot. No time spent looking for girls in clubs, etc. Biggest negative? The same. Some guys like to "hunt" as they call it. (I prefer to use my time/energy more constructively). Since it is all there in one spot, some guys feel a little like in a fishbowl.

MR: I say up front I haven't been to MR yet. The location is okay, (the old Field of Dreams) but a bit removed from a grocery, money change, which is a 5 min walk in Costambar/BB. You'd need to drive/taxi to do any of that. I also don't know if they have a flock of girls on-site, like BB.

I wasn't sure how the LT rates worked. Is LT always overnight, even if you get the chica in the early afternoon? If not, how much time should I expect?

Typically, All Night, or Toda La Noche (TLN) has been 2500 pesos (70-80US).
That is usually for a girl you meet that evening and keep till breakfast, -say about 9-10 am. Depending on when you met her, 8-10 hours. If you want her
from 2pm on, you're talking about twice as long and she would expect twice the money. (almost all day and all night). That's reasonable.

And depending on the chemistry, I'd include meals, having dinner and/or breakfast afterwards.
But given the variety, to stay with one girl for so long, there'd have to be some chemistry between the two of you, so in that case, you should work things out in advance, or ask Charo to assist in translating.

Ultra I am with you on this one. I feel alot of the same about the stress of covering your tracks to family, etc. It really can cause stress on the entire trip and I have experienced the same feelings and emotions. It was more that I didn't want to have to come up with reasons for why I was traveling to the Dominican Republic, of all places, by myself. So instead I just didn't tell my family I was leaving town, at all. I don't see them too often as it is, so that was easy enough. And I told all my friends I was visiting other friends someplace else. I know I could have had more fun if certain things went differently (ie: getting sunburn), but overall I wasn't having as much fun as I had hoped, before things really went awry. This isn't really going to put a damper on my mongering, since I've been at it for awhile now and normally have great experiences, but now I know that if I can sort of tell I'm entering a situation where I'll feel uncomfortable, I probably will. I'm sure I'll wind up heading to Thailand at some point down the line. That seems a little more tailored to my liking. But yeah, no offense. I can see why everyone loves this place. It just wasn't for me.

Try Curacao next time. You can stay at one of the regular resorts (the Marriot is nice) and spend your nights at the Campo. No need to interact with anyone. Check out the Curacao thread.

No disrespect but it sounds like you were a little nervous and intimidated by going down there and being by yourself. No condemns or soap? You didn't network with any guys either? You wasn't prepared mentally or physically for your trip and the girls picked that up. You can't hide at Blackbeards! You can't hide what you are there for! I like your report though atleast you was honest and I respect that! Funny, I have some of the same hidden reservations since I'm a young bloke late twenties as well who has kept it to the private encounters. This is definitely a different environment when I head on my trip in a little bit to the DR as well.

Gentlemen: The last time I was at BB, they had no exercise equipment. The only exercise gear I found was on this decrepid looking hut, with rusted weight lifting equipment a few bocks from BB. Is this the only option available or are there other options available? I will be renting an automobile for this trip, so I can definitely go out of Costamabar and find better establishments. Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
