There's been a lot of dialogue between guys I know about 2 k being the new 1500. Aqui es me dos centavos. A year or so ago, the dollar was worth 42 pesos, which made 1500 pesos about $35. At 45 pesos 1500 is 33 $. But now everybody wants 2 k. Which is $45! Imo a $10 price increase in a year isn't inflation. It's a price increase. I can't see how a 3 peso increase offsets a $10 price increase. It's seems to me that a lot of chicas get most of there money from gringos. Pro and semi pros anyway. How can a broke chica dice 1500 no es nada? LOL. I think the price increase is BS. Solo me dos centavos.

63 pesos yeah people would be rioting and there'd be a coup dd'etat. (auto correct makes it the'etat if I don't put two dd). The change of powers in Egypt and Tunisia a few years back were partly attributed to spikes in food prices.

As I wade through the Puerto Plata network I am finding all different types of women from those who you do not discuss price with and slip them something when your done to the pros who are quite aware of the market value of toto in the North Coast. Of the dozen or so chics I have hit so far I have heard "1500 pesos es nada" from two of them.

I believe Hanzo once said finding a good connection in Puerto Plata would be difficult because it is a tourist area that is close to Sosua. That is not verbatim but I believe it is the essence of what he said. I have discovered that the principle stated is in fact true. Some of the girls in the networks I am perusing are actually pros mascaraing as semi- and non pros by that I mean their main source of income is selling toto, some go to Sosua but most do not. Others have jobs and are legitimately students in UTESA here in Puerto Plata.

As previously stated 2000 pesos is the new 1500 pesos due to inflation and the difference in the exchange rate. Therefore if a woman perceives herself of great value she wants more than the average chica gets 1500-2000 pesos therefore you get the 2500 pesos chica. The difference in the Sosua 2500 pesos chica and the Puerto Plata 2500 pesos chica in generally is activity. Of course there are exceptions but generally the 2500 pesos chica is not stroking as much as her Sosua counterpart therefore the money has more value to her because she may get a client a week if that.

To show you how fascinating this is I was introduced to a 2500 pesos chica, I knew this because the person who referred her made clear I understood she only accepted 2500 pesos. When we chatted on whatsapp she wanted to be clear on her price after which she was dismissed. She came at me again apologized and when we finally met and did the deed she would not take my money (2000 pesos) in fact I had to put it in her purse.

My point is many of these chicas even though they are saying 1500 pesos is nothing really aren't pros and some just need cultivating. This is truly a different way to monger that I find fascinating.

Yes, your right about no secrets. I will tell you one more quick story I had taken my girl to the casino club with her friends and I had to drive them home and was not thrilled about driving into the Barrio at 4 in the morning. So, I gave this police officer out in front of the casino a tip to follow me in and out of the barrio. A couple days later I drop my girl off in the barrio to get her hair done at the salon. I am driving back to the resort on the way back this guy is sitting having a beer at this little Bodega out front in a white t- shirt as I am driving by he jumps up and tries to stop me and I see a gun in his waist band I keep driving I am freaked out then I realize that is the cop that followed me home. I turn around we start having beers having a good time 30 minutes later my girls mother walks up and mind you I am 2 miles from her house and her mother walks up with my girls brother and cousin to see what I was doing. Mind you I have never seen my girls mother walk anywhere let alone 2 miles to check on me. I told them I am fine and then they turn around and walk back home. I know they wanted to say something, but they did not say anything because they saw me talking to a cop. So, someone saw me at this bar two miles from there house and told them. Yes no secrets there keep that in mind.

I took a non pro from Santo Domingo out a couple of times. She was a waitress at a coffee / sandwich place. I used to go to see her. I was sitting at an outdoor table with a couple of buddies. A chica I didn't know sat down. We talked a little. She took my phone and put her number in it and told me to call her.

My non pro girl saw what happened and she started throwing chairs up against the wall. They do get jealous. Psycho shit. That was the end of her for me but the point was made.

Pro you cannot just be disrespectful as a foreigner and start talking to other women in front of her. If you are with a pro you can do what you want, but as some of you know a women that is with you non. Pro they are very jealous and you want no drama and never bring attention to yourself. The surest way to get into trouble in a foreign country is be an arrogant foreigner. Anyway, so this chick next table kept staring at my and my girl looking at me and I am pretending not looking at other girl and when she went to the bathroom I asked waiter to get the number. Long story short, within 24 hours she knew girl gave me her number. Someone snitched, I denied it of course and said waiter gave some girls number to me I threw away, but it was true one part I never called the girl. Never got the chance too. Lesson learned, I was not as cool as I thought I was and got caught getting another's girl number. Also, to find out later as big as Puerto Plata is the the other girl lives three blocks over from my girl. So not touching that one. Not hard to find her as a lot of those hot girls go there on Sunday. Also, I always have a car and stayed this time at lifestyle resort. It is only a 15 minute drive from downtown and I always like to be mobile no way I use a taxi. I am in and out of those Barrios all the time. That is how I like to roll.

Very possible, but how can you tell it was "anti-gringo" rather than "anti-black" or "anti-American" or even just sexual jealousy if you are an older guy with an attractive young dominicana?

Yes, I don't know either. Perhaps I have encountered it, but am blind to it. In general Dominicans seem to perceive gringos as a likely source of some kind of income and will often be over friendly. What age group are we talking about and in what circumstances? Of course if they are Jehovah's Witnesses and you are with a hooker in a short skirt and bare belly, their approval might be muted.
