Can anyone tell me when the Bikini Contest takes place at BB? I've been to the Contest before and I know that it takes place Saturdays at 4pm but, I don't know which weekends they put it on. I think it takes place once or twice a month. I may have to stop in there this Saturday if it is on.

Sosua to Costambar/BB is (roughly) 15 miles.

About US40-45 by cab.

Psssh. Take a public taxi from the highway in Sosua to Puerto Plata. This costs $1. Then take a motoconcho or taxi from Puerto Plata to Costambar for a few bucks more. Use the money saved to get another girl.

I am happy we are having a discussion on this level of punting, but one question does comes to mind.

Is this discussion on the right thread?

When this whole thing with Tripp and his vacation really started, it was a discussion between BB's (located in PP) and Vikings (which I gather is in the Caberete area). The Photo Gallery was the original starting point and moved to the PP thread as it had to do with BB's.

It was correct to have discussion on the PP thread for that. I am wondering now that this is purely a trip report if this should continue in the Caberete thread to be true to the board. After all, if you looked on the board now you would think that Vikings is in the PP area which it is not.

Am I wrong? Please comment.

Actually, I started posting (regarding my plans) in the General Info section, and then started posting some pre-trip pics in the Photo Gallery, which of course led to responses and the subsequent discussions, which remained in the Photo Gallery. Jackson chimed in, and on 2/5/07, Crazysunny suggested the Puerto Plata thread, which is where I've since moved it. Soooooooooooo, who the heck knows? When it's all done, I'll post in the RoD (if you all and Jackson don't mind) a single post with links to ALL the reports and picture posts. - Tripp

I can confirm Tripps's report. It was an amazing journey and I will go there again. Unless I marry the last girl I met. Tripp. Does this sound like me or what? LOL

This was my first time punting.

I had fully intended to stay with one girl the entire time. I had many emails with the Manager 'J' over the past year asking a lot of questions. J had once been a customer before becoming the Manager and had been on a number of different packages and had stayed with the same girl on some trips and switched every day on others. He thought that the GFE experience combined with the "Viking" experience was the better choice.

Things just didn't work out that way.

I have been working a lot of overtime since I got back and haven't had much time to write a meaningful report, but will begin working on one. Here is a little to start with.

Like Tripp, I was met at the plane and spent about a half hour waiting in the VIP room (no alcohol for me. Just in case) for the folks to handle the paperwork and tourist card ($10). I met T in the VIP room. K was also there, but remained silent during the entire ride to the resort. I wasn’t sure what that was about, but imagined it had more to do with being a private person.

I brought my camera and video camera. J said it would be OK if it was OK with the girl (s), but as Tripp mentioned, these girls are not typical and in some instances quite shy.

We arrived at 3 PM and proceeded to our rooms.

We weren’t greeted by the girls, but we saw them walking about and more when we went to the back side of the resort – a beautiful garden environment and more than enough room than a maximum of 6 visitors will need (From a recent email they appear to have room for up to 9 visitors now).

I took the least expensive trip at $3900 for 4 nights and three days. This is for one girl with housing in the outer house (check out the pics Stadt posted with the captions).

I arrived a day early thinking I didn't want to waste an evening being exhausted from a long flight from California and had planned to stay at a local hotel, but after accepting their invitation to come to the resort for dinner to meet the girls, I ended up buying an extra night. Julia's pictures do not do her justice. She was stunning in person and overheard me saying "WOW" in her direction during a talk with J. J said she had been there 4 days and no one had picked her up. I was surprised and said that since we were both newbies that maybe it would be easier.

I found out later that she had changed her mind about being there and wanted to go home. I can only guess that she was aloof and being Russian, she expected the guys to come to her whereas the other girls had been there longer and each came by to introduce themselves.

Also, I am guessing that since there were only 4 of us there and all the other gentlemen were in the main Cabana, J upgraded me to the last room so we could all be together.

Well, I gotta go. Too much to do tomorrow and I'm exhausted.

given how much time you are investing, i only hope you are having fun preparing the reports. i can tell you i am riveted and waiting for your next report.

after over 20 years of punting, i've just actually begun to get involved with others in this hobby within the last few months. in other words, this has been a secret part of my life for over 20 years, during which time i never spoke with anyone about it. so yes, i am enjoying the writing of the reports, and find it, quite honestly, very therapeutic.

also, and i've mentioned this before, i've come to the realization that i'm something of a "sex addict". whenever i post the straight skinny about a trip, there's always someone who questions the number of sessions i have each day, and i've come to understand that i am somewhat unusual in this regard. in one of the posts here, npaul said, "i have never heard of a guy doing so many pops in so few days." the truth is, when the situation has been perfect (perfect girl, perfect health, perfect timing, lot's of alone time, and so forth), i've actually held back on writing how many times i've consumated during such times, because it would have guaranteed i'd catch a lot of disbelieving shit from some in our "community", and while i'm doing this (posting) for a variety of reasons, none of them involve "impressing" people with my virility and prowess. actually, things would be a little bit easier for me, frankly, if i could have just 2 pops and then go a day or two feeling satisfied. i honestly don't know why i am the way i am, but i started masturbating when i was like 8 years old, and when i was 13 and stuff starting coming out, i thought that i'd broken something (really!).

anyway, that's probably more than you wanted to know. again, thanks for the kind words. - tripp

Well, I'm just back from my funeral, and saw that some "genius" questioned my credibility (and I'm honored that he used the occasion of only his second-ever post to do so). This is as I predicted, and I am very grateful to those of you who stood up for me.

It's funny, considering that, once you take into account the "pre"-trip reports also, I've posted something like 100 photos as part of this report (each of which had to be individually re-sized) and written well over 20, single spaced typed pages of text. Shit, I even posted helicopter photos of the resort!

Anyway, I'll get back to finishing up my Vikings reports parts 4 and 5 later in the week, but wanted to take this moment, in light of the comments I've read today, to point out a couple of things.

Certainly, Vikings is not for everyone, even aside from the price. But you should consider the following before you dismiss it out of hand:

1. I will definitely go back there, at some point. I'll do it a bit differently (which I'll discuss in my reports), but I'll definitely go back. T sent me an email a couple of days ago saying that he's going back there THIS MONTH for an entire week to celebrate his birthday (and he's experienced other scenes.. he knows that there are other options). S is already saving for HIS next trip to Vikings, and K (as weird as he is) is already a regular. In fact, K extended his last trip an extra day. All 4 of us are smart people, and I'm a very experienced punter, so I have to say, you may be right that Vikings is not right for you, but I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss it as a possibility unless financially, it's just not possible.
2. There are different girls there all the time. The whole group changes over every 5 or 6 weeks or so. My terrible camera-work aside, some of the girls were very beautiful, some just attractive, but every one was fuckable. It's true that, if all you're interested in is pure physical beauty, you can pick and choose elsewhere for less money (and there's NOTHING wrong with that at all... I fully intend to continue to do that also), but as I've said, this is a DIFFERENT kind of experience. Also, and I'm not meaning to offend anyone, but there's something to be said for having a girl that wasn't fucking 5 different guys in the back of a seedy bar earlier in the day.
3. ...and lastly, don't forget that you have a beautiful room in a spectacular Villa with a private beach, with impeccable service and great food, and every little thing is done for you. Also, everything is included, even all of the alcohol you can drink and your massages. When I go back, I'll wind up paying, with everything, around $1,500 per day (not including airfare). Is that more expensive than going to Blackbeard's? Hell yes, but take a look at the pictures of the girls there.

Still, as much as I liked it and hope to do it again someday, it has not taken over as my favorite sex trip. I'm still looking forward to my next trips to Prague and to Montreal, and I look forward to planning trips to both Sao Paolo and Moscow. Also, I'd like to go back to the DR and try some of the high quality girls there, and I'll be looking for assistance from you all on how to find THOSE girls. - Tripp
