Ouch! Sorry to hear about your bad experience, hope it didn't ruin your night. It wasn’t my statement, though, but Blackbeards, copied and pasted directly from the FAQ on their website. I agree that it would be wise to double check with the management as to what they consider acceptable proof of age. Thanks for the heads-up on this.

$75 short term to $100/night....Those are typical prices you can expect to pay at places like Crystals or El Bohem. I know of places that quote $1,000 USD a night!!!

Sometimes you pay what you get for BUT i would hope most of you negotiate or have someone negotiate for you and get the asking price dropped considerably. Offer an incentive bonus if you know what I mean...this usually results in many happy endings!!!

I must take exception to your statement that Blackbeards will allow outside woman in with only proof of age. During my recent visit I almost got into a fist fight with the night security over allowing a chica in that was with me cause she didn't have the required card that they carry.

She had I.D. but not the registration card. Also she was 23 or 24 and by no means looked under 18. Maybe he was busting my balls but the remainder of my trip I made sure that the ladies had the proper registration card. Really is for our protection but I would re-check with Blackbeards.

You are not limited to our companions. We are only minutes away from several local establishments where you will find a never ending supply of willing companions. You may bring the companion of your choice to our resort without any problems. If we do not know the companion, she will be asked for proof of age. Under NO circumstances do we allow anyone under the age of 18 into the resort.

You could even mix n' match, I guess.

Yes, you can bring any girl from anywhere back to Blackbeards. As long as she has an ID that proves that she is at least 18 years old, which in my opinion is a very good policy. (Why go the bother to travel where prostitution is legal, and then violate the law, both US and Dominican?)

The advantage’s of using the Blackbeards girls in my opinion are that:

1.) You pay NO bar fee like that at Crystals or other POP bars. You pay NO fee to Blackbeards for taking one of the girls, you ONLY pay the girl. Fees are set 1500 pesos for a short time, 3000 pesos for all night.

2) You don’t have to worry as much about being rolled, or property coming up missing, because the girls are known.

3) A very nice selection of girls start showing up about 4:00 to 5:00 PM and it begins to thin out about 9:00 PM. I do not like to stay out until 2:00/3:00 AM and to drink a lot. I can stay out late and drink at home. I can not spend the entire night with a beautiful 20 year old girl for under $100.00 at home. So if I am not in bed with a naked pretty young girl by midnight I am not following my plan.

4) Blackbeards has a very relaxed atmosphere. If you are like me and speak no Spanish then I would highly recommend Blackbeards. There is always someone there who can help with simple translation.

I spent a week at Blackbeards in March and I am going back over the Christmas/New Years holiday. I had the time of my life there. I used Blackbeard’s girls every night except one. I paid a 500 peso bar fee once. No problem bringing her back. In fact in the morning, David (the manager) tried to recruit her for Blackbeards. Because she was drop dead gorgeous. It is amazing how that more girls look good late, and night after 5 or 6 Presidente beers. If you follow my plan and not drink to excess, you will be safer, have a better time, and the girl you selected will still look good in the morning.

I have been seriously thinking and panting over the Blackbeards site and some of the women on the site but am a little nervous of the type and quality of services offered. Air Fares:

Check the prices posted by Jet Blue form NYC they are unreal. Also most major cities fo into NYC with Jet Blue. Problem is that the times are so screwed-up!
