I am a first timer planning to visit Senses Private Club in a couple of weeks time. I heard the reviews that this place is expensive, but that's OK.

What I am looking for:

I am looking for a high end resort which is safe and all the things are completely taken care of, including food, airport pickups, and vetting of quality girls.

I am looking for GFE experience with beautiful girls, either EE or Latinas.

I am not looking for cheap girls, neither am I looking to bang as many as I can for the money.

I also see DR. Nights, but I heard mixed reviews about that. So far, I have not heard anything negative about Senses other than the fact that it is expensive. Any insight would be appreciated.

OR, alternatively I wouldn't mind staying at an all-inclusive resort and having a chica stay with me thru out my stay, but I'm assuming that I might get cheated, wouldn't find a quality girl. Too many unknowns.

These are from a girl I met over in Higuey, about 45 minutes inland from Punta Cana. All she wanted was enough money to buy her baby some food for the night. I gave her more and she gave it back. Cost me about $15 US for a whole evening.

Tammy Lawrence-Daley says she was brutally attacked at the Majestic Elegance all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana in January. She went to get a snack at the bustling resort when she heard footsteps. "he just plowed into my back and I remember the grunt he made when he hit me. It's in my nightmares," she says. The attacker pummeled the mother of two for hours. She could feel the bones in her face cave, her teeth break. "he at that point began choking me strangling me," said Lawrence-Daley. The mother of two went in and out of consciousness. She says the assailant then dragged her limp body into a dark crawl space inside the five-star resort. It was pitch black. "All I could think of is my husband is going to find me dead with my head bashed in," she said. Lawrence-Daley suffered a broken orbital, broken hand, nerve damage and other injuries. She has had a half dozen surgeries and procedures since the attack.

It was the second night of the trip when she was beaten. She believes the attacker was ready to pounce. She says she fought with all her might to stay alive. "he used something to wrap around my throat to basically strangle me again and at that point I knew I was dead," says Lawrence-Daley. But she had the will to live. The family says after an exhaustive search spearheaded by her husband and friends, not the resort, Lawrence-Daley was found. Her husband, Chris Daley, feels guilty he didn't go with her to get the snack, but the resort was busy with other travelers. He choked up when recounting finding his wife after an exhaustive search. "This was the hardest part, seeing her from the back, it didn't look like her, until Diane said those are her shoes," said Chris. Lawrence-Daley says, "One of the maids walked up and put a robe around me and I'll never forget, it translated you're safe, you're safe. " The family says the Dominican police investigation was inadequate at best. She recalls her attacker wearing a Majestic Elegance uniform, but she never saw his face and no suspect has been identified. She's warning others who travel to lavish resorts. "It's not safe. Not safe for women to walk alone, walk with somebody else," said Lawrence-Daley.

Action News tried to get comment from the Majestic Elegance and local police but have been unsuccessful. ".

Not very surprising that the resort nor the police wish to talk to her. Where is / was the embassy? I've always felt all inclusive resorts in general promote a false sense of security. These are huge properties that often times not very well lit with winding walking routes. I been to a few in my day and I like them because I can get wasted and don't have to drive and just have to be able to stay on my feet to get back to my room. But whatever chica / girl I was traveling with at the time we never spilt up when it was dark. We stayed together no matter what. PE says: "Move as a team never move alone". That is not to say the husband did anything wrong or the attacker couldn't have got both down even if he had of been walking with him (think OJ. Yeah he was found not guilty).

But this story follow along the same lines as several that I've read out of Mexico. Will it stop me from going to all inclusive resorts? No it will not. But I will continue exercise the same situation awareness I always have as the environment dictates.

So there are always or almost always girls at Steve's Bar? I'm not sure I'd be interested in girls that hang out at a bakery. LOL OK, maybe near the bakery. J.

If they know you are a gringo you will be charged gringo prices, and few of us can escape detection. The only places you might avoid this are in the Boondocks where tourists and gringos are never seen. That used to include places like Montellano and Imbert, but no longer. I also escape it living in Puerto Plata, but only because they know I really am broke and not just pleading poverty.

You might add that to your list of advice to mongers! LOL.

I too plead poverty, when I send my GF back to PP to take care of her own affairs, after her 3 days a week with me.

Most times it's true, as I live on a small pension, but sometimes I lie, and tell her I have no more dinero in banco, til next week, just enough for a couple cervesa and commida, and need to lie low trankilo en mi casa for a while.

Gerd Ordelheid, 76, was having sex with three women aged 18,19 and 22 at a Dominican Republic resort, when he started complaining of chest pains.

Paramedics were called to the Dr Nights Exotic Resort in Punta Cana and rushed him to a local hospital after the incident.

Medical reports showed Gerd had an erectile dysfunction drug in his blood, but it's unclear whether that contributed to the heart attack.

Gerd arrived at the hospital in critical condition, but is now recovering back at his home in Cohasset, Massachusetts, where he runs a string of hotels and wedding venues.

"The patient was in critical condition on arrival, I quickly diagnosed a myocardial infarction (heart attack)," said his doctor, who asked to be named only as Dr LEóand and spoke with Gerd's permission.

"I then proceeded to restore blood flow to the heart and locate block points. It took two stents to stabilize Mr Ordelheide. ".

Dr LEóand cautioned unfit or unhealthy sex tourists not to over-exert themselves, regardless of their age.

He said: "This is my job, and I am happy to have added many more years to Mr Ordelheide's life span.

"In addition, I would advise men of Mr Ordelheide's age to seek medical advice before taking any type of sexual performance enhancing drugs. ".

The three prostitutes involved in the orgy were questioned by local police but later released.

The resort operates legally in the tropical country as prostitution is not outlawed in the Dominican Republic.

Dr Nights is one of a growing number of sex resorts world-wide offering all-inclusive adults only packages.

A source at the resort said its main clientele were white men aged between 45 and 55, and around 40% of their customers were swinger couples.

Gerd, who declined to comment on the incident, had been enjoying many of the resort's exotic offerings, including a fishing trip the day before his heart attack.

The trip, one of the excursions provided for guests, was on a 42 ft Bertram boat with several sex workers and loaded with crates of beers.

I would not rely on a vegetarian for a recommendation to the best steak house. Why do I say this? Because someone who does not like casas are not going to like them at any price. Punta Cana is not hard or expensive unless you compare it to Sosua and both you and I know you can not compare a puta pueblo to a world class tourist destination.
