Me an a friend from Spain are going to an AI resort in Punta Cana the last week of August and first of September. Here in Valencia where I made my reports for ISG, there is a shortage or dark skinned SW and we thought about moving towards theM while having rest daytime.

I knew that it would be better to go to a chica friendly place but as this is our first trip we took it as a recon trip.

I have read carefully the unvaluble advice of Crazy Dave and Monetx, and would thank any further advice.

We thought about trying the first day to fish inbetween guests at the hotel and if we see no change switch to local scene SW. We speak spanish as we are spaniards and are not noobies in the mongering activities.

Our idea was to hire a van or campervan and then save $$ from taxis and rooms to go around mobile hobbying. ¿Is it worth the investment? ¿Are there any guest house chica friendly in Friusa, Higuey or Sosua that you recommend?

We have seen that if you do not go to the easiest and closest strip bars, you could get better deals of 1000 pesos 2h or 1500 pesos all night or TLN, specially if you move towards friusa from bávaro or travel to havens like Sosua ¿is it right?

You have a major advantage over most mongers because you speak spanish so chica hunting will be easy for you! I would suggest that you take taxi for transportation in bavaro/punta cana as I have seen toooooooo many tourists have major problems with rental cars, local traffic police, minor accidents, etc. You are on vacation and this should be hassle-free.

Most mongers will tell you that Dominicans drive crazy and there are at least 10, 000 Dominican motorcycle drivers in bavaro/punta cana who are crazy, crazy, crazy. I would use the $60 daily rental car expense toward taxi. Plus you can tell the Dominican taxi driver in perfect spanish "CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP Chicas. You can take a taxi to many areas of bavaro for $15 and there are $15 cheap hotels for quick sex.

Read my past posts and use the WRIST BAND TRICK AT YOUR AI resort and get the chica in free. In a taxi you get a quick glance and are allowed to enter with no hassles. In a private car/truck you get more questions about your "guests".

I've seen some for mid $600s but the extra money will probably be worth it. Thanks again for the offer though.

I also want to thank you for the wrist band trick. I'm going to try it in the hopes that I can convice my girl to get a nice hot young puta to join us. She mentioned to me that her cousin goes down there and can't get the putas to leave him alone, so she knows its an option. I'm going to have to exercise my powers of persuasion.

The wrist band trick will work because all the AI security guards are related to Moe, Curley, and Larry! 99% of the time you will be in a taxi and the security guards only take a quick glance inside to make sure everyone has the wrist band to the AI. No hassles. No questions. Make sure that you get the extra wrist band back as you may want to use again later in the week. Also, make sure that you take your girlfriend to Mango Disco on a Friday/Sat. Night! There are 100's of beautiful sexy chicas all looking to make extra dinero to help support there families. The mango Disco is located in the Plaza bavaro area (3 minute walk from main street). Also, Plaza Bavaro has numerous chicas during the day looking for extra dinero.

The wrist band scam will work because ALL the security guards at the AI's are directly related to Moe, Curley, & Larry! I have received numerous emails/PM from mongers who stayed at a large number of the AI's and reported 0 problems with the wrist band trick. Just make sure you get the wrist band BACK so you can use it again later in the week! Ha ha ha

The security guards will assume that the chica is a family friend/tourist guide as you will be with your girlfriend. Most likely you all will be in a taxi and the security gueards only take a quick look inside the taxi to make sure that everyone has a wrist band. The security guards don't really give a rats-ass as they are not paid very well.

I know, I checked the travel websites but this is my favorite most trusted forum and I really value other members insights. Its gonna be $2400 for both of us, including the flight from NY and the bullshit $200 per person tax. If anyone has other recommendations for all inclusives in that price range, I'd appreciate it.

Fantastic for couples, friendly staff, really good food, lovely beach - and the resort is very spacious. VALUE FOR MONEY

The Dominican Republic is NOT a 3d World Country. It is a developing country. Obviously you have not travelled to the major cities or towns where new construction and factories spur the growth here. This country has a lot of poor people, but it is not a poor country. It just depends on who controls the wealth. That is another subject.

I own an apartment in Cortecito and have vacationing 4-5 times a year since 2006. I have found the best action in the dance clubs or small local bars. No need to visit Jazzys or La Punta. Overpriced for the chicas and drinks. Write me and I'll give you some specific places to found the local talent.

I don't when you are planning your trip but most AI resorts have "HIGH" and "LOW" seasons. If you are going during the more popular months (HIGH") you pay almost double for resort. I have found low season to be late August to mid-December. Of course this is tropical storm season so sunny weather could be sporadic.

I could get you & girlfriend a deal at barcelo bavaro palace deluxe junior suites for about $200 per night TOTAL. This is AI but I would only rate it 3 stars. Beautiful beach, average food, average room with outside jet/bath tub, casino, average night music shows. Nothing extra fancy but all the food/drinks, bullshit taxes included for about $100 per night per person. Close to Palma Real shopping center ($10 taxi) and $20 taxi ride from Plaza bavaro (shithole flea market for tourists but tons of hookers and $15 rooms for quickies.) $30 taxi from airport/20 minute ride

The published/internet nightly rate for 2 people is about $300 per night but I think if I scam the manager and tell them you are my "cousins" you can get the Dominican discount rate.

AGAIN, this is just an average AI resort. Nothing fancy!

Travel dates in August, December, January, February will cost more.

September, October (and some other months) package deals will cost less.

For a one week stay at an all inclusive hotel, with airfare, I usually pay between $500-$700. Travel in August and the winter months and the package prices are often twice as expensive.

I use 200entertain promo code on Orbitz and the package price is reduced by $200.

Jetblue now flies from New York to Punta Cana (puj airport code).

Iberostar seems to be a good hotel chain in DR. I have not stayed at an Iberostar All Inclusive in DR. Paradisus is a good all inclusive in Punta Cana. You can visit tripadvisor.com for reviews (photos) of hotels.

In bavaro/punta cana I stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace, many years ago, nice hotel, nice beach. RIU has several hotels as well in Bavaro/Punta Cana.

I sometimes fly into Santo Domingo (sdq airport code), rent a car and drive to bayahibe and stay at the catalona gran dominicus all inclusive hotel. 7 night package deal (airfare, room, food, drink from New York), about $550.

99.99% of the people that have traveled extensively through the DR would laugh at both of your statements claiming that the DR is neither a third world country nor a poor country. For the record,I would be in that 99.99% group.
