Camaro Synopsis Santiago October 2014.

Gentleman I have just completed the Santiago segment of my most recent excursion throughout the Dominican Republic. This trip will include separate synopsis reports on Sosua, Bonao.

The aforementioned reports will include anecdotes and my observations of the conditions and activities on the ground of each of the locations. This trip includes 2 days in Sosua, 2 days in Bonao, 1 day in Santiago and closes with 3 days in Sosua. This report will be more about Camp David Ranch and my experience there than a true mongering report because as it turned out no actual mongering took place.

Below I have listed my notes for your review.

Camaro's Perspective.

I originally started traveling because I was tired of the drama I was encountering in my domestic relationships. I made it to most of the major Latin American destinations we are familiar with before settling in the Dominican Republic. I had absolutely no experience with PFP before I started traveling. My typical domestic modus operandi was meet a woman in a club or other venue get her number, go out a few times and generally by the 3rd date I would smash hang around or move on. My experience was typical for most men in the urban community I was from.

The thought of directly paying for sex never crossed my mind in a million years. I know we say "you pay one way or another" which is true but I never gave a woman money after I had sex with her until recently. With that said entering this lifestyle was a culture shock to say the least. Not only do you have to change your mind set in terms of dealing with women, but in order to maximize your effectiveness you need to learn the language and the culture. Therein lies the problem; many people who enter this lifestyle over-pay get flim-flammed or otherwise entangled because there is no mongering school or university that you can attend that prepares you for this thing of ours. Therefore you either get sucked up, learn from your mistakes or glean from monger boards or veterans who will take the time to sit down and coach the novice monger.

I will continue my PFP excursions but I am becoming more interested in non pro civilians and semi pros because although they can be more work in my opinion they have the potential to be more rewarding long term.

I arrive in Santiago.

This trip was made after I returned from my 2 day excursion to Bonao. The gua gua from Santiago to Bonao was 200 DOP but the return trip was 150 DOP go figure? It was a decent ride back not many passengers and air-conditioned with only one stop.

The parada is in-between the Metro and Carribe Tours so finding a cab was easy. The taxista wanted 600 DOP to go to Camp David but HE got 500 DOP. HE has this stupid WTF look on his face and I was like "entonces?" Why do these guys think I am a stupido gringo? HE said HE would charge me 400 DOP an hour for my night excursion. Here is Dominican logic, 500 DOP for a 15 minute ride but 400 DOP for an hour. Can you say durrrrrrrrrah?

Camp David Ranch.

Camp David is a hotel restaurant and bar that is 3000 feet above sea level and it overlooks the city of Santiago. The view puts me in the mind of Medellin. Camp David is reported to be one of the homes of ex-President Raphel Trujio. It has since been converted into a boutique hotel.

It has been reported that Camp David has become the place where gentlemen of wealth bring their secondary women due to its location and ambiance.

I have a king size bed with a flat screen and a very spacious room with a balcony. Cell phone usage is spotty I suspect because of the elevation. The WIFI and air-conditioning work well.

Santiago Agenda.

I did not have a clear etched in stone Santiago agenda other than spending time at Camp David. I entertained the following options:

Renting a taxi for the evening and going to the Monument to hunt or going to one of the car washes I visited the last time I was in Santiago.

Ordering in at Camp David, it has been reported that some of the staff have an inside connect to pro's and semi pro's that you can order in. It should be noted this is done on the low. On my first trip to Camp David a waiter offered to call a chica for me but I did not take advantage of the opportunity.

I have several Santiago standby's as I have been internet fishing in the area for quite some time.

Frankly, I just wasn't certain what I wanted to do and did not put much energy into a plan since the primary objective of this trip was Bonao and not Santiago. I decided to contact Ms. Santiago at the last minute and below I will report my experience.

Ms. Santiago.

MS is a contact from Dominican Cupid over a year ago. We have chatted on and off for the past year. The problem with the internet chicas is it's hard to keep up with them all because there are so many. I came to the conclusion that MS was a semi pro for the following reasons:

When we initially made contact she had an apartment but was not working.

Her Facebook page has pictures with her wearing Jordans and Nikes, once again she is not working.

I had to rebuff a request for ayuda during one of our whatsapp conversations.

A fellow monger posted a photo of them together and HE shared with me HE gave her 2 k.

In the past we talked about a cabana run as well as when I flirted with her she was always receptive. We fell out after the ayuda request but she still remained a woman I wanted to connect with.

Ms Santiago part 2.

The bottom line is that I have had a hard on for this woman for over a year. She is physically very much what I am attracted to the quintessential flaca canela. I call and set things up and she arrives at Camp David and I am lyke WTF? She is 10 X more beautiful in person. Unlike Ms. Bonao she exudes the maturity of an adult woman despite the fact she is only 22.

Although my agenda was to hit because I thought she was semi pro I decided to go into my date mode. We sit on the balcony at Camp David looking at the stars she orders red wine and me. Wait for it. Virgin pina colada. Her eys are absolutely beautiful in contrast with the dark blue sky and she keeps smiling at me for some strange reason.

We shift gears because originally she wanted nothing to eat but now she decides to share dinner with me. I am having the authentic date experience that I have been seeking for so long. We talk about a myriad of different things to include the fact that mongers are sending and soliciting naked pictures and that is one of the reasons she does not like Dominican Cupid. After dinner I ask her "quiere pasar tiempo conmigo en privado?" She responds smiles and lights up the balcony and says "si!" Now I know I am in like flint. Ohhh yeah!

We get to the room and she offers me a massage. Now I know I am in! DAMIT I haven't had sex in 2 days. The massage is mediocre but mamma always taught me it's the thought that counts. So she interrupts the massage and guess what? The questions come. Lo que tu quieres conmigo? Tu quieres casarse en el futuro? Ohhhhh snap this is going south fast! Then she says "tu eres un aventuro" I try to explain I only travel alot because I am trying to find a place to live and "soy no mujeriego!

She starts with I am not that kind of girl and she has to get home because her mother is strict blah blah blah. So I respond in caballero fashion and walk her outside after we call the cab. I remembered Brooklyn Beas admonition about Sosua and told her I was staying in Cabarette. She insist she wants to come see me in Cabarette so I asked her about her mother and she says that's different because she travels throughout the country as a dancer on occasion and that would be her excuse. I told her on my next trip I'd take 2 days in Santiago to get to know her better and she seemed to be happy with my response. We kissed I paid the taxi and she was off.

Assessment of Ms Santiago.

MS and I were communicating on and off before my trip but she dropped off the radar for almost 2 weeks before we reconnected the day before my Santiago trip. I know she is semi pro based on a conversation with another monger. I suspect something happened during our break or when we met she decided to change her modes operandi with me. I couldn't bust her without humiliating her nor did I want to. I suspect she is in transition and she wants something more than what she has been receiving.

I have no intentions of being monogamous any time soon therefore in future conversations if she will agree to slow her roll I will spend more time with her because I really like her but if she pushes too hard well you know.

Closing thoughts on Camp David Ranch.

There are some distinct disadvantages to Camp David. First, its location is away from the city which makes taxi fares high. It also has a prime reputation in Santiago so taxi fares range from 1000-500 DOP depending on where you are coming from in the city. It should be noted that taxi fares in Santiago are generally about 200 DOP a trip. In addition cell phone coverage is on and off depending on where you are on the property.

Despite the disadvantages I thoroughly enjoyed Camp David the room was comfortable and the staff was attentive. The view from the restaurant balcony was nothing short of spectacular. Dinner was great with a diverse menu. I had a chicken dish with honey sauce which was excellent and breakfast in the morning was included.

Camp David may be a little more than some would like to spend but it was a unique experience that I will not soon forget.

Closing thoughts on my anecdotal experience.

In this thing of ours regardless as to whether we target civilian-non pros, semi pros or total pros there are no guarantees. In my situation what I thought was a sure thing turned out to be a bust. I can speculate on the reasons but in fact I am not exactly certain what happened, however my experience is not going to deter me from seeking more than simple PFP. As much as I love the ease of Sosua at some point it gets boring and I want to experience something different.

Going forward I will continue to mix it up with civilian-non pros, semi pros or total pros and let the chips fall where they may.

Conclusion.

After my failure with Ms Santiago I thought about hiring a taxi and going out to hunt but I was so tired from my Bonao travels I decided to call it a night and take out my frustrations on the chicas of Sousa I have 3 days to catch up.

My next trip will be the second week in November where I will explore Mao and Esperanza I will keep you posted.

Try google flights. It shows a calendar of flights with the best possible rates. I usually get flights under $400 to Santiago and Santo Domingo and $400 range to Puerto Plata.

My First time in Santiago and it was an OK Trip. I've read other reports about the City so I decided to Check it out. I'm New York City Born and Raised so maybe I can relate to this city life in the. Are.

Got out the airport (STI) looking for a Cab, still normal rate is 20.00 to the city but what I did when a driver asked me if I need a ride, I said I was waiting on a cab and HE told me 13.00 a dude said ok lets go. So I'm feeling great LOL, The hotel I picked for the 3 day trip was the Matun Casino and Hotel. I got there and they ask if you have other people staying, no for you Santiago Vets they add a charge of 5. 00 for 1 girl. Now if you change who that person is from the original one its a whooping 900 pesos per chica.

I met a guy who was pissed about this because apparently they just started charging this 900.00 pesos per chica. So that kinda turned me off. I asked for a room away from the club but with WIFI. There is only WIFI in the lobby that's it. Not in your room. 2nd turn off. They do have a new little club in there I forget the name but its a lounge and they also have pure I think it was called. SO no matter what room you are in you here the thumping music all night long. I was there MOn. Thurs and they went to 6 am every freaking night.

I've lived in Medellin, Colombia for a year so I am 80 pct fluent in Spanish. Luckily for me. On my trip it wasnt that much Day time action as maybe you can find in Sosua or Samana or Puerto Plata, Badoo is your friend in Santiago. The plus about this trip is that prices are cheaper for food and things, maybe because its not a tourist area at all..

Thanks for sharing the report. I am Dominican born and grew up in Santiago and lived 20 years there so I know that there is no much action there as in Sosua, Puerto Plata and Cabarette. It is a nice city with a lot of pretty women and night clubs and in those clubs that is where the action is but is mostly local civilian ladies and nonpros looking for boyfriends that go to the clubs. I have friends that have traveled from the USA to Santiago and have fallen in love with the city and women there and.

Have somewhat gotten with girlfriends that they have to send money. To me that is more expensive that travelling as a monger. In my opinion is best and cheaper to stay in Sosua, Puerto Plata or Cabarette. The beach is there, the chicas are everywhere, and accommodation is so much cheaper than Santiago. I usually stay in Cabarette or Sosua whenever I go to the DR and take a Caribe tours from Sosua if I want to go to Santiago. Another way to get cheap flights is to go to google flights. I usually get flights under 400 dollars on that site within 30 days of purchase to either airport Santiago or Puerto Plata. I am also going to Medellin on the 17th and it is my first time there. Maybe I will send you a PM to get some tips from you for Medellin.

Another Reason I went is because I was referred to this guy about airline deals and HE gets 30 pct united flights. I thought it was crazy but my ticket 10 days out was 651 got it for 420 , I will def use them again. I don't mind passing the email on to anyone else who makes last minute trips. The earliest they can book is 30 days out.

And people were very friendly. I met a ton of non working woman in the day time, was able to have relations with 2. The other woman I met were on badoo.

A review on Santiago cabanas: Blue Castle, on the westside of town (towards Puerto Plata), is close to Elysium which I believe Camaro wrote about, is very nice. The room we used has two levels, jacuzzi and living room on the first floor, bathroom with shower, bed, and even a sex swing (on the second floor. Not sure how much for overnight stay, short term I paid RD $1000.

Helios, is on the eastside of town (towards the airport), is next to BoraBora and across the street from Passions night club. Stayed there twice overnight at RD $1700 per. The rooms all had different themes, one we had on the second night has a stripper pole and disco lights. Great value and clean.

Thanks for the info on Santiago cabanas I will be there this week and will try to use your suggestions. Good move on the civilian chica I have a couple I am working on for this trip my report will be forthcoming!

After a two-night stay in Sosua (really nothing to write about, nothing to add to what's already been discussed ad hominem on the Sosua thread), came Saturday morning. I was supposed to go back to Santiago and to pick up the cupid girl (one who showed up with her sister as chaperone to our dinner) , but the more I thought about it, she just wasn't that attractive to me, despite the pretty face. Forget that, I'm going to hit up the girl I chatted up at the Asian nail salon instead. Texted her to get ready in an hour, I'd like to take her out for lunch; and she agreed. When she showed up, she looked even better than I remembered when I last saw her. This was the first "impromptu" date that I've ever had in the DR. Meaning one that's neither P4 P, nor pre-arranged online girl. I knew I had to play it differently, and was prepared to exercise some patience. At lunch I invited her to go to the beach in Puerto Plata, first she said no, she was supposed to go back to work. Finally my persistence wore her down and she relented. But she did tell me she was not staying overnight anywhere, and warned me not to try anything bad. Of course I wouldn't, I'm a gentleman. I was thinking just wait and see.

Long story short, we ended up spending the whole weekend together. I had to fly back to the US on Monday and really wanted to get back to SD Sunday night, but she begged me to stay. (Apologies to a senior board member whom I was supposed to meet up Sunday night.) On Monday, she even came along for the ride to SD, just to spend more time with me, then took the Caribe bus back to Santiago. (Just like the pre-Colombian folklore our grandfathers spoke of, how the native Dominican women would bid farewell to departing foreign men back then?) All in all it was a weekend of GFE bliss for me. She is a simple girl, she has a beat-up 4 or 5 year-old Nokia, instead of a Samsung Galaxy or an iPhone. She works 6 days a week- turned out at the nail salon. She wasn't a patron as I thought she was when I met her. I did give her RD $2000 for the days she was with me, simply because I knew she missed work and didn't get paid. So far now that I'm back in the States, she hasn't asked for anything yet.

Final thoughts: On this trip I had pros, semi-pros, and a civilian. I appreciate the different role each plays. They each met a different need. However, my trip would have been a BB+ instead of an A- if it weren't for the total GFE from the civilian.

Good report. On-line chica is never a guarantee they look good sound good and almost smell good while we are checking them out on the internet but as you see it is not as good when you finally meet them or meet the situation they live in.

Your experiences are so real and normal. Rarely do our plans evolve like we hope. Family issues and chaperons can pop up. I like non pros as well but they can be a lot of trouble. I am convinced that SeMI PROS are the way to go. They know what you want and provide good service to get what they want. Cupid girls work better when you can meet them off their turf.
