Los Jardines is closer to the road to Puerto Plata. Las Colinas is closer to Santo Domingo (I think). Los Jardines appears to be a bit closer to the airport.

Las Colinas is on the north-western edge of the city (nearer Navarrete). Los Jardines is nearer SD and (as you say) the airport.

Maybe it depends which road to Puerto Plata you mean, but if you mean the main highway, the route the Caribe Tours and Metro buses take, then Las Colinas is further from the airport. The Caribe Tours buses from SD arrive at Los Jardines, then go to Las Colinas, then on to Navarrete and Puerto Plata.

There is a Metro depot near Los Jardines but not at Las Colinas.

I took first pic in Aloha de Sol. A decent hotel "downtown" Santiago. About 90 bucks a night. The other is selfie that these young girls are constantly taking.

The population in the Cibao is somewhat more "Spanish" and lighter-skinned than the rest of the country on average, so racially brainwashed dominicanas will often claim to come from Santiago to attract North Americans who are similarly prejudiced.

Most of them don't want to enter the name of their own shithole town or village to reduce the chances of their family, neighbours, boyfriends or husbands becoming aware they are offering their totos online or of panting gringos turning up on their doorstep causing embarrassment all round.

Did you ever make it to Pasion the stripclub? I have a novia in Santiago who lives near there and she wants to go but her father also goes and she is worried about running into him. She says it is great but she is a 19 yr old who has never been to a strip club in her life.
