Calle del Sol is good place to walk around and chat up with some non-pros during the day time. But if you are looking for some hookers, than there is a bar up the block from Calle Sol. Heading towards Mcdonalds about two blocks from Aloha Sol hotel and make a left about a block and a half on the left hand side. Than my Scotia Bank being on the Calle de Sol, been there many times and have yet to see SW's or anything that resembles a place where chicas hang out. Calle del Sol will have a mixture of everything, ie. working girls, beeper chicas, and girls just hanging out shopping. You would have to engage them in conversation to figure out who's who.

The strip clubs charges a salida, but that price is included in whatever the girl charges. The price is usually cheaper if you settle on the cabanas on the property. It's very easy to contact these girls during day for a "Happy Hour" or try Gomez Diaz, which sometime have the same girls doing waitressing in the day.

Also, for University girls, you just need to hang out at one of the bars near the university, send a drink (usually beer) to their table, raise your glass to them and many times they will invite you over to continuing buying them more. Driving around I never have problems. Bonao is a typical smaller Dominican town. There are tigers everywhere in the world, so be careful anywhere you go. The girl from bonao I met was sweet and quiet, I know two girls from, both very nice. I have not encountered any bad guys, you will be safe. The unsafest part about being here, is the way some of these assholes drive. I have seen some crazy, stupid, driving here. Some of these people drink and drive and obviously some of them cannot handle their liquor. This past Sunday I was driving from santiago to Santo Domingo, I left Santiago at 6pm, raining. The highway is a two lane road, two lanes each direction. Some guy with a big white pickup decides to enter the enter, he crosses both lanes of traffic and then turns left into the passing, fast lane of the highway going in the wrong direction of traffic. I was stopped in traffic on this highway for at least 30 minutes because of a 5 car accident. I'll post a more detailed description of my driving experiences here. Puerto Plata to santiago is around an hour, Santiago to Bonao is around an hour. Usually the highway from Santiago to Bonao is wide open, on a sunny day, with no traffic, you can probably get from Santiago to bonao in an hour or less. I don't know any hotels in Bonao. People here are generally very nice to me. I have encountered very few knuckleheads. Learn: doble (turn), izquierda (left), direcha (right), direcho (straight), zamaforo (traffic light). I have gotten lost plenty of times, the people are very nice when I ask them for directions. Generally they are very nice people. Bonao has some rivers, that might be the only touristy thing in Bonao. The cabana in bonao was nothing special but for 500 pesos it was good enough.

I am at the el gran almirante hotel. Nice pool, chica friendly to a degree. When I checked in I asked if I could bring in friends. I was told I could bring one guest to the room and two guests to the pool.

Cucaramonga had good food, the waiters are dressed as cowboys with holsters with pistols. Carribean baseball series is going on now, just about every bar and restaurant with a television has the games on. Many nights in bars and discos I have watched baseball while hanging out.

From Cucaramonga we went to Monte Bar, where eddie herrera was playing last night. I said I didn't want to go in (I said I wanted a different bar, to them), because the chica from Friday had tickets for that bar that night and she invited me, so I couldn't walk in with two other chicas after blowing her off.

They then took me to Las colinas rancho tipico, big open roofed place, cheap metal chairs and tables. With a big dance floor, that most tables face. Sorry to say, Santiago was a bust.

I tried to get to Illusions during the day, at 3pm, and it was closed. The taxi driver wanted to try another place and I asked him if he was sure it was open. Yes he was sure. Then I told him ok but if it is closed all the risk is on you. Then he back peddles and laughs and calls his buddy over the radio. The radio guys said it was open. But once he understood it was a free ride by assuming the risk he folded like a wet paper bag. I don’t need the fair run up on me and I suppose he laughed because he did not blame me.

It rained for the most part of the day so there was not much I could do. In the evening I did not want to cab around in the rain so I went next door to the Matum Casino.
