Posts: 133I need a Real Estate Agent.
Everyone,
Does anyone know of a good real estate agent. When I say good I mean one that calls you back when they say they are, shows up ON TIME. Basically one that does business as it SHOULD be done. Any input would help. Thanks

Posts: 5I'll be in Santo Domingo this weekend
To all you mongers,
I'll be Santo Domingo the night of Dec 3 and leaving Monday Dec 6th. I've been to SDQ a few times and don't mind being a free tour guide in exchange for someone cool to hang out with.

Prtyr2,
I will be staying at the Palacio in the old district (i believe?) Are the places that you list near it? In Rio and Sao Paulo, there is a pretty safe and reliable subway- can I get around Santo Domingo without getting mugged? Can I get to the places you listed via public transportation? How about a reliable source (newspaper, website, magazine) that has all the monger places listed with phone numbers, addresses, prices? Do I need a reliable map?

Posts: 340Stephen Gibson. . . . .In santo Domingo, which is a large city, the action is both spread out and concentrated.
There are a LOT of places in Santo Domingo. Some are spread out all over the city, but in the Gazcue area there is a high concentration of places all within walking distance.
Off the top of my head walking distance from gazcue:
Elegante
Cisne
Mona Lisa
Michele
Stefani
OMI
Princessa
52
Suenos real
a new place that I don't know the name of
plus at night
tabu
lapsus
aurora
and for freelancers the merengue bar at the juragua
plus bar venezia right next to the Napolitano
Remington and modelos are both short cab rides away
teresa and azul a bit further but not very far
further yet in the west:
Penthouse
Geisha
Shalimar
Divas De Placer
Tabu II
on the other side of the bridge:
Dblanca
patio oriental
la sama
ejecutivo
Alibi
fuentes de mano
Pacos out near the airport
plus strip clubs:
sutra
jazzys
ciudad de angeles

Posts: 628Are you fluent in Spanish and halfway good looking? If so you can find a GF in the DR like you should be able to find one at home (and thus not need to go there). There are lots of hotel clerks, waitresses, bank clerks, etc., ripe for the picking if you can talk to them. You may spend more time at this than monger girls but you can always do both.
I had a GF for several years in the DR and other than the usual moochery when we were in the hotel together she didn't ask for P4P.
I am currently dating two girls in Managua with real jobs and so forth - one I met online and one I met while buying a bottle of rum. I wound up dating them both on the same night and with the help of my driver, I pulled it off.

Posts: 340Mona Lisa is located at calle danae #35. If walking up from independencia, it will be near the end of the street where it intersects calle santiago, on the right hand side. They own the entire building which includes a small hotel, clothing boutique, hair salon and of course the MP. Once they added the hotel they added a sign that says hotel mona lisa.
It is across the street from Hotel La residencia and you will most likely see a very large bald dominican security guy sitting outside.

Is the DR a place where you can have a true girlfriend, or is it only for mongering? I was thinking of going to Cali, Colombia as I read that the malls have a lot of non pros who are really friendly but I like the looks of the DR ladies. Anyone have some good experience with the locals and how can I find them in a sea of pros?

Marketer,
Regarding your question about 3-somes in the DR. Absolutely. I have had many many of them over the past 5 years and rarely had a complaint. Dominican girls just aren't shy or repressed in any way - I have never had 2 girls say no and I love the chemistry of a 3-way if it is good and the 2 girls are having fun. It sounds like it is getting a bit expensive down there since I was there last - esp. in SD - but there is no better feeling than having 2 cuties and paying $50 or so in total. My best experience was about 4 yrs back in Boca when I brought 4 girls back and played oral Russian Roullete with them with the winner getting a nice tip.
I would have agreed with you re: Asian until my last couple trips - it used to be very hard to find 2 girls willing to go together and when you did one would often stay in the bathroom till it was her turn - just not worth it - but the mentality of the girls seems to be changing at least in Thailand where I have had some of the best 3-somes in my life over the past two years - and I never get girls saying no anymore - in fact often the opposite as they ask if a friend can come along. And there is nothing like having two small giggling Thai girls in bed with you.
These days though in both places the girls tend to insist on switching condoms when you shift from girl to girl which I can't blame them for - but that takes away lots of possibilities unless you have an endless supply of them and can put them on a lot faster than I do!

Posts: 1094Exchanging USD to DR pesos
To All,
I will be going to SD for the first time in December. Any recommendations on using
credit cards versus pesos? If using pesos, where can I get the best exchange rates?
Is there a Citibank ATM in SD? (like in Sao Paulo & Rio de Janiero in Brazil)
Thanks a bunch,
Almotu
