Mister_Smooth. I am not sure which Parque you are talking about? There are a tone of parques. For meeting non pros, hanging out on el conde at one of the cafes is always fun. Lots of girls make eye contact and flirt etc.

Heck girls flirt in a lot of places. Any
waitress or barmaid might be worth the effort as far as flirting goes.

For regular clubs, there are a ton of them. In the tourist areas the girls are more used to meeting gringos etc. Places like Jubilee, Trio Cafe, etc etc etc are OK, but it is not a slam dunk.

I prefer the more "local" places. there are a ton of these on the other side of the bridge. Avenida Venezuela is cool. You can take a cab, and just walk from place to place. Eclipse is more upscale, and there are places like Latinos that you should give a shot.

Also on San Vincente De Paul there are some clubs. Fortuna Car Wash is real local, Classicos, La Torre is for serious dancing salsa etc.

How long are you staying? I get into town on the 17th with a buddy of mine. Another guy is coming in on the 18th. We'll most likely head to some clubs at some point!

Headed to the D.R for the first time. I'm staying in Boca Chica, but I plan to make a few trips to Santo Domingo. I will be there Dec. 18 through Dec. 31. I need to know what's the best M.P in Santo Domingo. 9's and 10's. I've been to Brazil many times so I know how the game is played. I'm just looking for the top choice chica's. If anyone has any good info for me please provide some. If anyone will be in Santo Domingo or Boca Chica during this time and want to drink some Corona's send me a private message.

I just checked the currency conversion and was shocked to see that its about 40 pesos/$. Thats double the rate I got from a year and a half ago. In general, have the establishments taken the rate change into consideration by doubling their prices to compensate? Otherwise the 1900 pesos I spent at Remingtons last year would now be a $48 evening.

I'm heading down to SD next weekend. Theres a lot of talk about the Parque and picking up non-pros. Are there some 'regular' clubs you could recommend where i may have a shot w/ some younger chicas? Also can you just hang around the Parque and meet some decent girls there? Thanks for your help.

Of course between the pursuit of an NP i'll be filling in the gaps. Im hoping to stay in the Colonial Dist., is Remington still the best spot for 8 to 10's or has it fallen off and now Modelos is THE spot?

Now you are getting funny. I never attacked Mt Particular. In fact if you read the archives I have said that if you are new to the DR and do not speak any spanish, it might not be a bad idea to have a guide for the day etc.

Mt Particular posted that he DOES get a cut. He then went on to say that his CUT comes out of the girls portion of the bill. That is just not true.

People join WSG to get the real scoop and to know the real prices. Why don't DR Killer and MR Particular post the going rates at the houses they recommend?

DRkiller you are just an incoherent whacko. Your first post said it was obvious I had never been to Santo Domingo. Then in the SAME post, you posted nonsense about my yelling at taxi drivers and causing trouble? Which one is it? How did I do all of that if I have never been to SD?

You are wrong. . . .I NEVER called myself a Monger. I have not used the services of a MP in a LONG time. I have taken friends, and members of this and other forums to these places to show them around and introduce them.

I have taken my buddy around to talk to management at 9 of the MPs. Every SINGLE ONE will give him a CUT....ON TOP of their regular price. He drives a tourist taxi and if he has some rich client in town on business that wants to pay 2500 pesos t0 3600 pesos for FS, and he makes a few bucks. . . . why not.

WSG members do NOT want to pay those "tourist" rates. That is why they joined WSG.

I have no problem with guides that get paid by the hour. I have no problems with guides that get a commision. I don't even have a problem with guides doing both, if they are hustling to make a buck or two. However LYING to WSG members about how things work is wrong. There are plenty of "tourists" to hustle, don't try it on WSG though.

I know a lot of people that have seen you running around Santo Domingo yelling at taxi drivers, trying to make a buck at parlors and treating people like crap with your stupid pony tail. Now you are jelous of Mr Particular because he had a good idea and is making more money than you are. I can tell you for a fact that he doesn't make a cut of the money and parlors are a flat rate and there is no negotiation! Look man, just because you might have gotten head once at a massage parlor doesn't make you a Monger. I guess you should thank god that there is a Santo Domingo or people like you would still be virgins.

Anyway, Mr. Particular is a good and honest man, providing a very good service for the money, stop hating.

I have been to the DR about 50 time sand have lived there for over a year.

Taxi drivers, touts and yes mrparticular all get a cut. The women are underpaid, that is why the cut does not come out of their portion of a servicio but is tacked onto the bill. I spoke to management at a bunch of massage places and they ALL offered my buddy the taxi driver a commision. ALL of them. One guy, said he gets 1800 pesos for "completo" and anything my buddy can get the client to pay over that is his to keep.

I have met some WSG members, and showed more than a few gringos around. I don't really monger any more but know SD pretty damn well. You OTOH have one post to your name and are most likely Mrparticular with a new handle. Am I close Greg?

I didn't know your name and that is what I used and you don't know mine. Peter and Fleming don't know I use the handle Wolverine. They know me by 1st name, Howard. I have spent about a month total time at their bar in 4 of my trips. They know me, my Dominican son and his mom as well, but don't try implying that I do not know them, or them me, or made a story up. I still stick by my conversation that I had with them and maybe was a misunderstanding but I made it clear that someone called Mr. Particular said he stopped by there regularly and picked up clients, they denied this. Maybe you have a different type of arrangement, or have some arrangement with Peter that he didn't mention because he is the brains of the La Playa Vista, but I have never ran into you that I know of, there is always that older american man (approx 60) who lives in BC with glasses, I believe from Boston(East Coast) drinks all the time, that spends most of the day at La Playa Vista, and another American that I can't remember much about him except he is middle-aged and dark hair. I don't think you are either of these gentleman? I am not trying to cut into your business Mr. Particular because everyone needs to make money and support their family but I do hope you aren't taking your clients for more money than is necessary. Anyways, if anyone is in BC stop by La Playa Vista because it is my favorite beach bar there.

I just want to clear something up once and for all on this site regarding Peter and Fleming at PlayaVista in Boca Chica. After a bashing post by Wolverine regarding Mr. Particular and our guided tours in Santo Domingo, the next time I took my little daughter to the beach I visited Peter and we discussed the entire matter. He said some guy had been around asking questions but he had never said Mr. Particular was guilty of any scurrilous activities there. He did not know the name Wolverine anyway. I do not want to identify myself by name here, but anyone is free to ask Peter about our conversation about Mr. Particular and the rumours. I have known Peter as a friend for four years and he will vouch for me if anyone asks about Mr. Particular again. If Wolverine was asking questions, Peter certainly did not know he was talking about me or my partner. End of story, I hope.

The Plaza Naco is a $5 to $7 cab ride to the Malecon.

Once you are there you have the Jaragua, Casa de Modelos, Remington are all near there.

Naco is guest friendly.

Casa Teresa is closer.
