Hello.

Anyone know how is the current state of p4p in Las Terrenas (Samaná) after the fire of Pueblo de Pescadores? How is it compared to Sosua, PP or PC?

I was in LT back in February and I would rank them in this order from best to worse:

1. Sosua.

2. PP.

3. BC.

3. LT.

4. PC

Looking for a nice hotel / resort in Juan dolio to stay with my DR princess. Something not too expensive, clean with good customer service, hotel pool (all inclusive or non) , queen / king bed with ocean view. Any help out there would be much appreciated. Later, Kris

Another option is to rent an apartment at Caribe Paraiso, http://caribeparaisojuandolio.com/ With rates starting at $35US per night. Restaurants, bars and a colmado within a few blocks of caribe paraiso.

Another option in Juan Dolio is the all inclusive Barcelo Capella, http://www.barcelo.com/BarceloHotels...scription.aspx Is an OK all inclusive hotel, that gets a mix of people.

Another option in Juan Dolio is the Embassy Suites by Hilton, http://embassysuites3.hilton.com/en/...LES/index.html Located in a gated community with a golf course, not on the beach. I have seen airline personnel stay at this hotel.

Various options for Juan Dolio. Several new apartment buildings with short term rentals, on or near the beach. Also villas near golf courses. Nice waitress. I hope you had the opportunity to "known" her a bit better? .

The tight white pants and tight tan pants, was a treat to see everyday on some of the waitresses. There is some booty in the DR.

The waitress in the photo was very nice, she spoke English. She is a friend, nothing more, she no longer works at that hotel. There are other attractive waitresses there now, including the one with the Asian features whose pic was posted about a month ago.

Staying at an AI in Bayahibe, you can rent a room for a short term at the hotel bayahibe for around $25US, which is what I did years ago, when a woman visited me in bayahibe from santo domingo for half a day. The disco (Pure) in the casino on the main road into bayahibe, was nice, seems to get going late. I visited during the weekend of the presidential elections, so many businesses were closed in bayahibe and la romana. Casinos and bars / discos attached to casinos seem to be exempt from having to close when other places close.

The roads in the town of bayahibe now have cement pavers, which are nice.

what are the beaches in bayahibe like? are they busy? with so many europeans around, are there any issues being topless or even naked? i was in las terrenas earlier this year and there were several beaches where women were topless. my girlfriend and i are going to stay at the viva wyndham dominicus palace for 2 nights next month.

shouldn't be a problem, i have seen numerous women topless at the catalonia hotel in bayahibe. years ago i stayed at the coral marien by hilton in puerto plata and there were signs saying no topless bathing (hilton is no longer part of the coral marien hotel). maybe if the hotel is owned by an "american" named corporation like hilton, they might be less tolerant of topless sunbathing. i have not stayed at a wyndham hotel in the dom rep, so i don't really know what their policy is, seems wyndham might be somewhat of an american corporation. i have been told that there are great parties at the viva wyndham hotels in bayahibe. on the beach i don't think the hotel will say anything if your gf goes topless, around the pool area, i don't know.

the two viva wyndham hotels are on one side of the lighthouse and the iberostar, catalonia, be live and cadaques are on the other side of the lighthouse. you can walk along the beach past each hotel. i saw a small quiet beach near the town of bayahibe, access by a non-paved road, seems some people may go nude there. if you have a rental car or a scooter, from the hotel bayahibe drive toward the water, make a left at the end of the road (you will pass a captain kidd place) , go straight and probably make your next right, large open field and businesses that rent out mini speed boats, continue past those businesses and the road will become kind of gravelly (non-paved) , go straight and after about 400 feet will be a place to park and a small beach, seemed secluded when i saw it and there were some european people there.

Located on the main road between La Romana City and Bayahibe is the Italian owned Vecchia Caserma Hotel and Restaurant. Very quiet location (for the beach, market etc, a car or taxi will be necessary). At least one sexy Dominicana with healthy lungs works at this hotel. Room rates start around $60US per night. The room I saw was nice with a large bathroom. Part of the property has what used to be a large horse stable that in the past was used by the Dominican government (maybe police or army).

I might stop in this small village on my way to Santo Domingo as I have a very busty girl there to meet she even told me a few restaraunts and bars are there. Any good play action there? Its like 10 minutes out of Boca Chica on the way to Santo Domingo. Alright I wait here on this info,

HU Guys I heard Guayacanes is nice for beach action in the day. Someone said too check out the famous deli there. I think at night more dangerous or not much of action. But I did here in the Juan Dolio area the best for beaches. If you guys are in this area bring a pro or amatuer to hang with you here.

Might finally check out this scene Friday too. Hope to here more updates on this village near Juan Dolio too, Later, Nibu.
