Thank you for that correction. My report was from this week. Exactly when did you see people getting locked up in Sosua?

Posts: 1987Notes from the Cmdr: Touts
I like Touts. I let them share information with with me. And if the info is good I tip them. If it is not I send them on their way angry. That is their business and they take their chances choosing who they want to spend time pursing.
I actually find the Taxi drivers outside of the hotels in Santo Domingo to be the most useful. They can't follow you. They know their stuff. And they they don't hound you cause they are just picking up some extra money when they talk to you cause they already have their full time gig going. And if a driver owns his own taxi you are looking a real businessmen who had to find capital and run the gauntlet trough the licensing system.
They usually have an amazing photo line up of girls. I have never participated because their prices are too high. The girl needs to get paid and she's got to give the Taxi driver a marketing fee. But the girls in their photo lines ups are smoking hot!
I shall now wait for my crew of off island haters to post up the following details: 1. Never use a taxi driver to find a girl. 2. All you do is pay tourist prices to prostitutes because you do not have any game to pull non pros. 3. Pussy is everywhere why do you need any help to to find pussy. 4. You really do not know anything because all you do is sit in your dwelling playing computer games and making up stories. 5. you don red o spel 2 gud. Yes, I've heard it all. And yet, life here go on. The pussy continues to be wet and available and the Presidente stays cold (if you buy it from the right place). I'm a rum man myself: Brugal. But good bourbon is coming, right?
Boots on the ground report: Life if basically normal here for me. With the exception of being under house arrest from 7 PM to 5 AM, you just don your mask and head out to do your business. Temperature checks in some locations, hand sanitizer in others, both in even more. Mask required! And do not fuck with the quarantine. I live in a gated community. Group of people were having a meeting in the street inside the gates. Police rolled in people ran like the feds jumping out on the drug boys. One lady did not make it to safety. Middle aged lady with mobility problems. They detained her and put her in the truck. Literally chased everyone else to the thresholds of their properties but did not catch anyone else. They drove off with the lady. Someone asked if the quarantine was being enforced. As I have said before I am quick to say fuck the police (especially in my country of origin) but I do not fuck with the police. Do you?

I live here in Republica Dominicana. I rarely use hotels. I use cabanas a lot. Here is some info on them: Search "Cabana education" in general information forum.

Open letter to you brother. You are a critic! That means you do not matter. Post a trip report! And become a man in the arena. Do not step to me again as only a keyboard warrior and call me out. After you have been schooled by my excellent information that I have been posting for years (and you use it to get yourself some new pussy) for starters how about sharing your experiences? LOL!
Boots on the ground. Man in the Arena! I will continue to post until COVID-19 gets me.

Sounds very interesting to me, as I never go far from Sto Domingo when I am in the DR.

Posts: 1987Subcmdr Log: Boots on the Ground report Santo Domingo este
Heads up! I have written about this before but I think it deserves to be addressed again. If you are the type to get your money from a ATM (and I happen to be that type) I prefer Scotiabank ATMs. The current fee is only 200 DOP. And they give you small notes. They even allow you to change the mix of small notes that you receive to your preference. The standard mix is 8 x 1000 DOP notes; 2 x 500 DOP notes; 4 x 200 DOP notes; and 2 x 100 DOP notes. A vet knows small notes are gold in the street. New guys should actually listen to the vets on that one (but not much else). Have yourself a fist full of small notes when you hit the streets.
A brief digression for a funny story. When you know the culture like I do (been living here a few years) you can take advantage. I parked in a commercial plaza over in Santo Domingo. When I entered the parking lot I received a ticket. The flat fee was 25 DOP. So, I thought when I exit let me try something. I handed the parking attendant my ticket and a 1000 DOP note. He waved me thru. Hey Grownman, I got half of my 50 DOP back from the system. You should be proud of your boy. LOL!
Scotiabank recently bought out Progressive bank. So at one of the locations I usually hit the ATM I had this new experience. It also was a new experience in that I did to have to wait in a line at the ATM. First time since the SOE was invoked. And it was the shortest line I had experienced to get into the establishment that had the ATM. Things are returning to normal on the ground. I live local and I live with locals (whatever the fuck that happens to mean).
In fact, I am going to address something that I think represents a incorrect representation of Dominican Culture. And that is the idea of the barrio making a Dominican real. Where did that bullshit idea come from? Like there are no rich Dominicans? There are no middle class Dominicans? And if you are rich or middle class and Dominican you are not a real Dominican? GTF! Every Dominican born here is as real as it gets. I had a doctora tell me that she wanted to move the US because here in Republica Dominicana when the lights go out they go out on the rich and poor alike. The only difference when that happens is if you can afford to buy a investor or generator. That is real life! And living like a local for real.
I have lived among middle class Dominicans and I have lived among poor ones. I have not lived among the rich ones. Because I was not interested (was it that I could not) in paying the freight it takes to live in the rich areas. But let me tell you from my experience of living here almost continually they are all real Dominicans. And going into the barrio the ones you meet there are no more real than the ones you meet in Piantini. The test of real is not for Dominicans. The test for real is for gringos. Can you operate in Blue Mall as effectively as you can in Mega Centro (if you happen to run day game). That makes you real. Real experienced. I reject the idea that barrio means real and having money makes you any less real. I read somewhere that there are individuals have multiple places to live in multiple countries but they walk everywhere. That makes them real. Yeah it does. Real tired. LOL! But I digress again.
There is more stuff in Santo Domingo. But Santo Domingo este is on the come up. And it has been for some time now. I have been advocating the amenities that Santo Domingo este offers for more than a quick minute. And still do. Santo Domingo este deserves it own forum because it is uniquely different from Santo Domingo and will only continue to differentiate itself. I have seen nothing but improvements the entire time I lived there and I still enjoy visiting. Turn your nose up at it like a stuck up chica I was talking to from Santiago if you want to. I like it! I only cross the bridge on a special occasion now.

Posts: 1987I see things are looking up!
Very positive report from my fellow "boots on the ground" reporter up north. The King of Sosua is putting in some good work. Posting up the kind of stuff I want to know about. Right now that is what is of interest (at least to me). Not complicated. If you are off island you are just telling stories or making one line smart ass comments. If you have "boots on the ground" you are pointing people to where to read about interesting stuff or share what you see yourself. I see The King of Sosua knows the Mayor on a first name basis. From what I know about living here in Repubica Dominicana, you would not need to respect the police if that was actually the case. If you know the Mayor on a first name basis, the police respect you!
Who lives in Republica Dominicana and and posts in this forum who does not live "among the locals"? That is some weird shit to say. Because unless you live in a building / compound that has nothing but expats it would be impossible to live in any other manner. Hell, even if you are just a short term ABnB renter others living in the building are most likely going to be locals. Unless you are living large and renting villas without neighbors. And if you roll like that more power to ya brother. I am not hating on those who are not afraid to spend a little money here and there. Does not make you any less real just because you do not have to worry about saving 500 DOP because you are waiting for your next retirement check to show up!
So we dropping names: How about La Romana? Was there last week. You know that main street that you enter when you stay to your left at the fork. Yeah, went down that street. Everything closed including the two cabanas that you hit right after the fork. No job but I still got the gran jefe mobile and can afford to fuel it up. You know what else I didn't see while I was rolling down the road? Buses or guaguas. That's right! No public transportation whatsoever. Got no private transportation? Guess that is why you are walking. LOL!
Let's keep dropping names shall we? Wait, wait let me google it: Hato Mayor. You know that they have that province locked down right? Residents only. How did I get in? Well trust me, my girl was not wearing "that shit on her head" and looking cute in a getto sort of way when we hit the check point. But hey if you like that kind of stuff, I love it for ya! She must of laid something heavy on them cause they waived us on through. I am not at liberty to discuss the nature of trip. But I am pleased to report that what I saw was like I expected it to be. Traffic was light and I was doing way more than 100 on the highway. But heads up my fellow brothers brave enough to get behind the wheel, AMAT be running radar and pulling people over. Saw several speed traps during my trip.
Who is going to lecture me now on how a vehicle purchase in the Dominican Republic is a waste of money? Honestly, I do not know personally a single person that lives here or spends extensive time here (for whom this is not their country or origin) that does not have a car.
Somebody tell big titty lover, I got "boots on the ground"! Post up some current information. Big titty lover cannot do it. There is an international travel ban right now. But why is Mr. Chuck Brown just counting paragraphs while reading every word of my posts? He should be able to post up some current information also. Why has he not told us what it is like in Republica Dominicana where he is living after 5 PM?
I got girls that do not go outside with "that shit on their heads" and they may or may not have big titties. Not complicated at all to do. Writing about it is complicated. Takes time to do more than just be a keyboard jockey. This is just one illustration of how the forum is better if people are posting their information instead of just being critical about the information others are posting. The ignore function works. Some of you should use it.
I am not a simple person. You see something is only complicated if you do not understand it. I thought Spanish was complicated until I went to school learned grammatical structure and worked on it in the real world. As opposed to being stuck in the past. I allow the past to inform my future. A leader deals with change. If you are doing things the same way you did them five years ago, then I will argue that you have not learned anything. I find it interesting how others do things. But if they are not the way I do thing or my preferences I do not need to be critical of others in order to make myself feel better.
So many ways to get pussy in Republica Dominicana. Just because someone has a preference on how to do it over how anyone else does is really not important. What is important to me is for you to share how you do it. Having a girlfriend is not mongering. Mongering is not having a girlfriend. So who is going come onto the forum and say that one way is better that any other way? I know, I know plenty of people do. But those same people end their critical posts with "to each their own". So which is it?
This is paragraph 10, if you are counting. But remember I get paid by the word. Paragraphs do not mean shit to me. Now COVID-19; That is the real shit. It has crippled the entire world economy. It is fucking up a whole lot of monger travel plans. And making some people write some crazy shit (including me) cause they got nothing better to do. LOL!
Until it gets me gentlemen. Holla!

"San Francisco, Dominican Republic. - Since the early Friday the authorities have blocked the access routes to San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic's 4th largest city. National Police officers were posted at the exits to Villa Tapia, Santo Domingo, Nagua, Tenares, among others. The police stop the vehicles, except those carrying food and fuel, as well as members of the press and health workers."

No, I've never been there. My playmate there (not proper English usage) is giving me daily updates. Still waiting for reports from those claiming to be living like a local.

Heading over to Las Terrenas next month anyone got a line on some things to do while there? I've been to other parts of the isla but wanted to check this area out since there are very few reports.
I suspect the action in this area is limited but we will see.
The King.

Her boys were good kids. And I hope they grow up to be good men. She was good mother and a good person.

Posts: 1987There has been a complete mischaracterization of the girl we are talking about in our conversation here Grownman. And I actually don't know who he is talking about. My original harem was six girls. I knew the families of all my girls. I was in their homes. The individual who made the post and BBQ Ribs never met or ever saw the girl in the post we are discussing Grownman. In fact, I don't think either one met or saw pictures of any of the girls in my original harem. He is in a word: confused. It happens when you are of advanced aged and party a lot.
We have moved from him being a critic to quotes from dead men being critical of me. BBQ Ribs said many unflattering things about the poster in question during our many email exchanges.

Here's the wammy, I couldn't tell him they did the switcheroo from the beginning. That wasn't the girl he initially met online LOL. They passed him on, probably some hustler working dudes online. Said this was the first girls cousin LOL.
Really enjoy your posts Grownman.
