Curious as to what's going on with the One Happy Island these days. Saw a couple of miscellaneous reports down below, but fairly incomplete. This is going to look like a laundry list of questions, because it is. So, if anyone has decent enough boots on the ground info, that would be appreciated. Kind of hard to tell what's up with the official Aruba websites for general info and mood.

1. What's going on in San Nic? Are there any Colombianas there? If so, are they working out of those random apartments? Are the chica bars open, and anyone working them? Do the girls have to quarantine for a number of days after arriving? Are they vaxxed?

2. In Palm Beach, are the bars open? Allowed to stand at bars? Is the Mill open for late night stupidity with the VZ's?

3. I'm guessing masks and the like are almost mandatory. I'm guessing curfews as well. Any restaurant closures?

4. Is the bar open at Baby Beach? Allowed to sit at bar?

Thanks to all the great info on this forum, I knew exactly where to go. I set my navigation for Charlie's Bar and drove up to the first side street (I think the street name was "Caya Charlie Brouns Sr. " Sure the side streets are a little shady, but staying in my car, everything was fine. A few shady characters here and there, but nothing to seriously worry about. I didn't even have to park and walk around because there was this gorgeous Colombian girl standing there with 2 other girls. I passed by just to see what else I could find. He rolled down his window and asked me what I was doing there, and I told him I was "meeting a friend". It turns out Aruba just put a curfew of 10 pm for covid, which I had no idea about. He was nice about it, and told me that I needed to go back to my hotel. He said it was a $700 fine if I was caught in Palm Beach out past the curfew!

Note that a couple of weeks abo, the COVID positivity rate among residents of Aruba was a whopping 32 percent. It appears that now is not the time to visit Aruba, and with the COVD Delta variant raging, I suspect similar conditions might begin occurring on the remainder of the Caribbean islands if they haven't already.

Arrived in Aruba on a Thursday, staying in Palm Beach. Originally planned to go to San Nicolas on Saturday night, but had some drinks Friday night and decided to have some fun. So for anyone going down, be mindful of the curfews. It seems that covids getting bad here again. You can still have your fun, but for now, you need to do it before 10 pm.

Covid Emergency Curfew at 10:00 pm Large fines for being out on the street after 10:00 pm I heard $500.00. Some action in ST Nic but a lot of Older and Rounder Ladies and work hardened. Had some fun but. Have to cruise a lot to pick something mediocre. Saturday night only one Physical bar open, but the ladies are out back. Seem to be better choices in the evening than the day time. PS Be carefull. I don't carry much change when I visit the rooms, but I did have one Biatch steal what little was left after paying her. Never ever trust them.
