I'm considering making my first trip to Aruba in August. I've read the forum back to 2013 figuring anything beyond that time might be too dated to be of use. I see the action is in San Nicolas on the South West part of the island and it is mainly girls working or standing outside of their bars in a three street area. I've seen the names of some of the bars and the action seems to be fluid some bars having better talent than others at various times.

The best thing to do is to rent a car and drive around in this area until you see one you like, is this correct?

Also these girls can be had for $50 or less?

The girls take you to their room inside the bar or in the area?

There are also escort services available that will deliver to you in your room for $150 an hour but you don't always get the girl that's in the picture?

Am I correct on the four assumptions above?

Question since my purpose of going is strictly mongering are there any decent hotels in the San Nicolas three street area or reasonably close that have good WiFi and modestly priced.

I don't know how safe or unsafe San Nic is. In SXM, for instance, I know what bars are safer and the other bars where " 'tings go down. " I have now idea about San Nic, except what I see and what I've experienced.

During the day San Nic probably is a safe place. I almost always visit at night, often after midnight. A few years ago my parked rental car got side-swiped by another car. No major dents, but heavy scratches. Luckily there were other scratches from before, marked on the rental agreement. The rental agent knew that this was new damage, but couldn't do anything.

Also, on my last visit less than a month ago, one of those crazy drunks showed up out of nowhere (dark alley), stood in front of my car, and started gesticulating and pointing at my car as if tire was down. I didn't understand a single word he was saying, other than he wants 20 bucks. I started the car, reversed, and drove by him. Then I heard the sound of broken glass. That asshole hurled empty beer bottle at my car but missed by a few feet (shaking hands and all. So drunk he missed my car from 12 feet) Not sure what sort of damage a beer bottle can do to a cheap Hyundai. And what prevents him from throwing the bottle at me? Interestingly enough, when he showed up, the chicas in the doorway that I was talking to were saying "let's go, don't worry, leave the car, he's "harmless. " Harmless, no sh*t! I did not come back to these chicas again.

Bottom line is that San Nic is getting progressively worse every year. I go to Aruba to relax, out of 7 days I'm there I might go to San Nic 2-3 times max. A few times I did not pick up anyone at all.

Just back from AUA and had a pretty good time. First let me say thanks to Cursnoop and Pogostick for the helpful info they provided. Overall, the trip was good but not spectacular. The pickings were slim, but there were a few gems hanging around. I stayed at the Holiday Inn in the popular high rise hotel area which is a good location next to a shopping mall and within walking distance to several restaurants and bars. More specifically, I stayed in the Sea Tower which is away from the main lobby building. If you stay at the Holiday Inn and are conscience about being seen with any chicas, the tower has a side door near the gym where you can bring in your guest discretely and remain mostly out of sight. However, I don't think any of the staff cares either way as lots of guests constantly walk in and out of the hotel.

I rented a car to get around and I think it's the best way to get to San Nich if you plan on going multiple times from the high-rise area. The drive is about 30 minutes or more depending on traffic which there always seems to be. Lots of slow drivers which make the trip quite a pain. You take Route 1 A south till you get to town. Confusing at first to find the area where the chicas are, but find Charlie's Bar and then use that as a reference point to find your way around. When you exit Charlie's, make a right and walked down a couple of blocks and you'll find Roxy's and G-Spot next to each other on the left side of the road. You'll also see other bars the next street over in each direction from those two.

As mentioned in other posts, Roxy and G-Spot had the best talent and I had my best experience with Marcela from Cali. I believe she was in Roxy's. Very hot and a total GFE! However, that experience was the exception rather than the rule. I also found Camilla from Colombia in Honey Zone Bar. Nothing to write back home about in the looks category but nevertheless provided a superior experience. Honey Zone had more girls (about 5) than the other bars but the talent wasn't on par with the two mentioned above. Anyhow, most girls in San Nich provided a fairly mechanical experience with the Domincan girls providing the most lackluster performances. That's funny! It seemed like they were much more enthusiastic in Sosua? Prices were the same as mentioned in other posts.

But one bum stumbling around who can't fight his way out of a wet paper bag, several vacant buildings, and a few teen hipsters playing loud music from their car but minding their own business doesn't quite qualify for me. Aside from that, I do think it's better to go into the bars to help establish a rapport with a girl you like rather than do a drive-by and pick-up from your car. My two best experience came from going inside and mingling. To the best of my espanol that is. I will also say that in these bars there is only 1 or 2 customers and there is a lack of energy inside. It can seem rather drab with no girls dancing, stripping, or doing anything else entertaining.

In closing, and as I said earlier I had a good time overall in AUA. The beautiful beaches, outdoor tour operators, and the ability to transition from legitimate bars and clubs to San Nich made it a well-rounded trip. Would I go back? Probably not. The long ride back and forth from the high-rises to San Nich, the lack quality / quantity among chicas, and the dull mood inside the bars makes this a one shot deal for me. Still, I would encourage anyone to go at least once and make the best of it!

This final question may sound silly but how safe are these girls (STD wise) ?

Normal street price in local currency is Afl. 50 for half an hour, however in the main street they tend to ask for Afl. 60. In dollars this ranges from $30 (Afl. 52.50) to $50 (Afl. 87.50) , depending on honesty (of the girl) and negation skills (of the John). Bar prices (that is, during the time the girl has to work in / from the bar) tend to be 50% higher.

For those legally employed in a bar, there is a weekly doctor visit required. Tests will depend on doctors impression.

Note that the some girls in the second street north from the main street (with the exception of Honey Zone which has a back entry in that street), are not (legally) bar employed and therefore do not have obligatory doctor visits.

When I was there on 12-22-14 I paid in US dollars, she charged me $50.00 f / hhr, a real nice Dominican girl Anna. It was early on a Sunday morning (I was hoping they all wouldn't be I church) but she walked up to my car introduced herself & went up to her room.

Over all Roxy and G spot are the current winners who have stunners.

For the Hotels I haven't seen any issues with security bring girls back although.

Occidental is all inclusive and Rui security is a pain in the ass asking questions.

This site is very insightful and thank you to all the "fellow experts". Following some Rio De Janeiro trip, I am contemplating back to Rio or to Argentina or to Aruba. I liked the luxury side of Rio (Copa's termas).
Are there similar places like Copa or just the bar / chica scene in San Nicholas.
Also, where is the best place to stay. (no interest in any touristy activity. All mongering). Good food, party, and mongering.
Is a hotel safer or a apartment better choice? Won't be living "too cheap". So like to enjoy some decent quality of mongering and life.
Guidance please.

I've never been to Rio, but I've done a lot of "research" about it, and I think there's a strong possibility (just that. A possibility, not a certainty) that you will be severely disappointed by the quality and quantity (or lack thereof) in San Nicolas vs Rio. You certainly won't find "luxury" in San Nic.

Of course now the entire area (especially the side streets, ie everything but the main drag from the 1st video) is noticeably more rundown and many bars are closed.

Personally, if I wasn't interested in "touristy stuff" like enjoying the beach and the ocean, I would not travel to Aruba.

But down the street from Charlie's Bar was hopping. I picked up several girls each week during my stay. Most notably a stripper quality.

Here is one of the reasons Aruba is so great. Picked her up in San Nich around 10:30 one morning. She was a sweet girl with great tits from somewhere in Colombia.

Negotiated $250 for Todo el DIA (with a tip for great service which I paid! You can bang any of these girls on site for 60 florins (about $35 I think) or take them out to your hotel which they love since San Nich ain't that nice.
