Just go to Charleys Bar as a reference. Walk across the St to Carlinas Bar. If you don't see what you like walk back towards Charleys and turn left at the end of the street are 2 bars with a bunch of girls hanging out. If you don't like the selection round the corner and behind the bars on the street to the left there are more girls. The end of that St all a short walk Carolinas will be on your left. Repeat your Lurking. After an early evening in San Nicholas about 6-10:30 I go back to Palm Beach and hit the dance bars until 3am. Have fun I book the month of March every Year.
Great plan of attack, I didn't do the clubs every night because I wanted to get a lot of good beach time in, too. I agree on San Nicolas although the area doesn't offer a lot to do while you're waiting around. The girls are sometimes available during the day, you can invite them up and they will hang out for a while for the same $50-$100 you'd blow in San Nic. I never tried escorts there, always seems like a hassle.

Definitely agreed on the safety. I parked my rental car and inadvertently left the the front windows rolled down (I was feeling, um, forgetful). Nothing happened at all, some guy was there when I got back and discovered and he just laughed. Some of the characters there look seedy but they are not motivated to jack you apart from maybe an overpriced bag of herb. I met one guy who fancied himself kind of tough but his friends just laughed at him, and this was not in the RLD, it was up by the casinos.

I wish I would have taken better note of the names of casas but they all seemed to be similar and just a guess and check sort of deal. Pricing and accommodations were very similar in the four I went to, just a matter of your taste in the ladies.

All the chica's work in bars. They're often found in the street though, in front of their bar, but they always have their own room in the bars.

About safety: it most definitely is safe. I know of people parking their bikes there and leaving the keys in. However it most certainly looks kind of fishy and I can imagine it doesn't *feel* safe for first time visitors. But again, it is. Never heard of anyone having trouble there.

My research leads me to believe the same with respect to excellent places to eat nearby. Is it true what I have heard from others, not on this site, that it is not unusual to find Colombiana's wandering around the bars and casinos; those not interested in working the SN scene? Maybe not a good plan to count on them being there, but not unusual either.

If you are going to dive, neither SXM or AUA are really known for great diving. You may want to look at Curacao. It is considered one of the best places to dive in the Caribbean. And at night you can dive into Campo Alegre.

I do plan to go there also, but was curious to know the scene if I happen to find a willing TLN and / or couple of days "gem". Went to Curacao last year, and Campo. Looking for something that allows me to relax on the beach outside my hotel as well as long morning walks on the beach. Curacao did not offer that and you had to basically drive somewhere if you wanted to visit one of the Bocas. I remember one in particular south of the tourist area. Drove 30 minutes to get there, thru incredible traffic. Upon arrival, I found a rock and pebble beach with an oil pumping platform under construction in the middle of the beautiful bay. Seriously considered SMX, but the award connections were far better / convenient for me to AUA and then, especially, onward to Medellin the week after. Thanks for the feedback.

My main goal is SCUBA, so I want to stay somewhere I want to be vs. Just stay somewhere because they are chica friendly. Sounds like San Nicolas is always an option should I find out otherwise. And given the number of Colombianas that visit the island, I am hopeful I might find a tasty morsel in one of the casinos or bars that just might wet my whistle on for a few days. After that, I will go to MDE for 8 days so I will have plenty of companionship to keep me more than occupied. So while SCUBA is the focus in Aruba, a little fun would be a nice addition.

    San Nicolas

San Nicolas is the place to go. Day or night. Got myself a young one yesterday. She said she was from Cali and was willing to offer some "culito" which is my game. 50 bucks later I was banging her tiny hole so hard in her upstairs apartment room that her friend came to the door and asked her if everything was okay. This was after some BBBJ. The deal was 30 bucks for pussy and BJ. But I could not resist the culo action.

I've never stayed there but if that was their policy then it prolly hasn't changed and why bring attention to yourself. Just book for 2.

Aruba is very laid back and nobody minds lookin at pretty girls and its legal and nothing that raises eyebrows anymore.
