While preparing for my upcoming trip to Aruba I found a really cool video showing how to get to the new Hollywood Smokehouse in San Nic. I have seen the Hollywood bar but it was always closed. It looks like they are now an authentic BBQ joint specializing North Carolina and Texas styles. Now married mongers have an excuse to drive there with the ball and chain and at least check out the fun areas. It also looks like it might be a good place to grab a bite and re-energize for those of us that go there for some serious physical activities. I am a BBQ fanatic so I will give them a try and report on it. But for now I am still partial to the little rooftop Paradilla above Club Monaco.

Besides this video being an exceptionally effective marketing concept, it gives very explicit directions to the area of our interest. As he turns onto Main St you'll see the Caribbean Bar on the left. The first block past Charlies Bar is all brothels on the right side of the road. The last couple blocks have casas on both sides. After the video makes the left turn at the unfinished hotel you get a glimpse of a snack shack on the left. Turn left at that shack and you'll get the full drive-tru experience in the afternoon as all the chicas hang out at the back doors of the clubs. Then just explore every little road and alley in that area to find all of the hidden casas. Don't worry, it is safe. Especially if you go during the day. It is good to do one daylight exploration to get your bearings before going at night.

After that video is done, look at the other videos available. You'll see another one titled "Driving thru San Nicolas" It is basically the same route without the commentary. This time you'll see a couple chicas on the street. The clearest shot is at 1:36 into the video and you'll see a chica outside Fantasy Nights niteclub.

I'll be on those very same roads Sunday evening. I hope the selection is good, but there is always someone worth trying if you look hard enough.

Remember if they only have a 3 month visa they must work on other islands.

Campo and SXM are better for mongerinfg as ther are not so many bars to visit and there are many more chicas in the bars in SXM.

And a ton of chicas in Campo.

However if you do spend some time you might come across a gem in Aruba.

First off, general thoughts.

Allow me to me clear something up, there is no serious advantage to using Gilders Florin as opposed to USA dollars. That applies everywhere on the island and the girls are no exception. These people are not stupid, they won't take 70 cents for something that costs a dollar. Would you? Expect asking price to be 50 USD or 80 Florin most places, generally they will come down to 40 USD or 60-70 Florin. There is no magic, no illusion that 50 Florin is the same as 50 dollars.

The girls start at 40 or 50, will generally come down 10. Some want to haggle about extras, others just provide them and expect a fair tip.

You have two options and two options only in the P4P scene. Either you call an escort service or you go to San Nicolas. Services do not have photos or web sites so you could waste time there. You will be waiting around longer than it will take to drive to SN and you will have lots of options there. Price is about the same, you just wind up buying more time with the services.

Arriving at San Nic, don't follow the signs, they will confuse the shit out of you. Just take highway 1A through downtown and on down, go to the oil refinery, dip into the Valero station, take a right onto the street alongside it, drive along the wall, turn left, bang, you're there. All the action is in one place, girls in the street and lots of bars. Some bars are only open certain days, there was one that only operated Wednesday and Saturday. That seems peculiar given that these girls are on three-month visas, but whatever, I am sure they don't lose time.

The girls here are predominantly Colombians. There are some Venezuelans and the odd girl from the islands, though most of the black girls there are Calena or Costena (Colombians again). If you have been to Colombian, you may find this a bit disappointing. These girls are older on average (I'd say 25 to 38) , they all have kids and while there are some fun attitudes they are obviously not fucking around and wasting time, they want to carry some ca$h back home.

That said, services are all there to be had. Anal can be had for anywhere between $10 and $40 extra, some ask for more (one asked another patron for $200 hahahahahahahaha) but that seems outside the norm. Some GFE type stuff available but honestly in that setting I'm not sure that's an accurate description. It's like Tijuana, you just take them back in the greasy little room and get down to business.

The better looking girls you have to negotiate every little thing, BBBJ, anal, etc, any extras, do it up front basically. The next step down, they are pretty permissive and will not trouble you with that kind of bullshit, maybe just a friendly reminder for a tip at some point.

Overall, I'd say if you are in Aruba for other reasons, sure, go ahead and shoot down to San Nic to get it in right quick. The girls are not really the quality that you'd tow around the island with you and most of them are probably not all that interested in that. Just smash and dash at an OK price, although for what you'll pay out of pocket for a half hour with a Colombiana here would probably get you three hours with three different girls in their country and ones that were more attractive, younger and without kids.

The island itself is beautiful of course, PM me if you'd like some recs on stuff to do apart from mongering. Pleasant place for a family trip or a getaway with friends and the action is there to be had, but do not recommend strictly for mongering.
