in general it's easier to get around Aruba. the roads are better, and traffic is a lot less congested. but on SXM you can choose to stay in hotels that are withing 5min drive from the "action."
the prevailing opinion is that the quality is better in sxm, although price for short-time seems to be higher.

St Martin is by far the best-better selection and better chica managment.

Curacao is close but no Cigar.

I will only return to aruba if there is a plague in St Martin and Curacao.
the pickings are slim, although a few hotties return to Aruba when their contract expires in campo as they can not overstay their visas and need extra work. I keep track of these hotties back channel.

Great series of reports Mel. Funny that you were also attracted by Carolinas bar, I guess the name brings memories back from Saint Maarten. I agree with your ranking, SXM as first, Curaçao then Aruba, even if each of them has it's own atmosphere and allows a different kind of experience, which is great.

Day 3 first stop Carolinas. Saw Alexandra and asked if she had to pay bar fine she said no. I told her I was a dog and wanted another chica today. Aruba day 1

I arrived here about 4pm and rented a car. A per Routards suggestion I tool a room at talk of the town hotel. Nice room with kitchen king bed large living room. Very reasonable for presidents week. It is very close to the airport and on the main road to St Nicolas.

Dropped off my bags and headed off to St Nicolas.

It is a very different scene than Curacao or St Martin. Many many small bars 3-5 chicas. At that time of day 5pm the chicas are on their own as the bars are closed.
