How would you compare the scene regarding quantity and quality compared to our scene in SXM?

Over all I like the island of Aruba much better than St Maarten. It is very safe and clean and has great beaches, numerous fantastic restaurants and a lot of activities. The Aruban people are the friendliest in the world. Everyone gets along and are truly colorblind. No discrimination at all. The night clubs are full of American and Dutch girls as well as local beauties. There are several casinos that are as nice as Vegas and poker tournements nightly.

However for mongering, I like the St Maarten scene much better. In SXM, you can sit at a bar and have one drink while viewing a large variety of chicas. There is much less pressure to buy lady drinks and the bar fines are less. Over all it is a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

In Aruba, in order to see all the girls you would need to have a drink in every one of the 50-60 bars seeing only 3-4 girls at a time. By the time you make a choice you could be to broke to play and too drunk to perform.

Also the chicas in SXM are in general, better looking. SXM brothels draw their clients from cruiseship crews and tourists as well as locals. Aruba's brothels mainly service the refinery.

The SXM brothels also have better rooms. They may not be the best, but they are pretty consistent. In San Nicolaas, the building are very old and run down. Some places like Minchi's and Ron Y Mentas have huge rooms for the girls with king size beds, couches, private bathroom with hot water while others are really tiny little rat holes.

If you don't mind the luck of the draw, Aruba has several excort services that are legal and reliable. They do seem to have a source of the better girls. I have tried them a couple times and have never been dissapointed. But it is $1 service charge and, even though it is not required, I would feel funny if I didn't tip another $.2 or so. That can buy 3 chicas in SN, but you get a reliable 7-9 in a good hotel environment so it can be a toss up. I still kind of prefer the hunt.

The unique thing about SN is that if you want, it can be drive through shopping. I usually don't even park the car until I have made my choice. Overall, Even though I like the island of Aruba better, I'll still prefer SXM for the hobby. Of course Curacao is a short flight from Aruba and Campo is in a league of it's own!

I headed to SN a little earlier. Got there around 4. The streets and alleys were fairly quiet. Not many girls hanging out yet but a few groups of local guys clustered around the corners. Aruba is still one of my favorite islands. Very modern, great resorts and some good restaurants....but I know that we are all mostly interested in San Nicolas....

First of all some good news for mongers that don't rent a car. They are building a major bus terminal right at the beginning of the main drag about 2 blocks from Chesterfields. But I still feel that if you are visiting Aruba you should rent a car. The prices are cheap and the driving is easy.

As soon as I arrived and checked into the hotel, I headed to SN. It was about 5:30 and there was not a lot of street action yet. I've been in Aruba for several days and have had a chance to go play twice so far.
