Had a chance to visit Aruba this last September .While in St Nicolas, found Sandra, a diamond in the rough on one of the back streets behind the bars..

There is a daily flight service between the two. I dont remeber how much, but I think it was relatively cheap ($50-70). I don't know about ferries though. M&M

I just got back from Aruba. I thought I was going to meet a lady friend from the UK, but she had to bail out at the last minute.

I had pre-booked a hotel up in the high rise section. Not much to speak of. I was there for most of the week and wanted to see some things, so I rented a car for 3 days. At 27 a day it's cheaper than cab rides.

I spent Saturday night in town trying to pick up chicks in the local bars. They were all pretty happening, but 11:00 rolled around and I was striking out and no single chicks left. I'm mid 40's, so the action in the local bars not much. Maybe somewhere in all those tourist hangouts is a great pickup place, but I didn't have any luck finding one the whole week.

Anyway, on to what you guys REALLY want to hear about. Like I said I was striking out, so I buzzed down to SN and as soon as I walked out of the car I was hit up by a couple of chicas at the copacabana club, but they weren't that great so decided to keep looking. Thanks for the previous advice here, I just poked my nose in every bar and checked out everything available.

I finally decided on a lady at the Pleasure Palace. She was pretty good looking and gave it a good effort, but it was somehow too mechanical. Connie? Don't remember.

Went back again on Mon night. A lot earlier, probably got there about 7.30. I figured, it's Monday, it's early, and I can take my time and all the chicks would be happy for some action.

Charlie's was closed unfortunately, so I never got to experience his hospitality. (Except for the next afternoon on the way back from the beach).

I checked out all the places. Again, the chicas at the Copacabana really doing the hustle on me outside the door. One was the same from Sat. night, but they weren't that great, so I kept looking. I know what I wanted. Dos chicas. ;) and I had to find 2 in the same place that interested me.

I looked up and down the street, usually there was one that was great, but not two. I finally ended up going back to Larry's bar ... don't remember the name of it. Larry was a great guy. Black guy. I think his is the first one up the street from Charlie's. And he had a real girl-next-door type in there that appealed to me, Claudia. But the other chicks were busy the first time I came through. When I got back there the second time, there was a real cutie there, Tatiana. Lots of chicks were asking for the 2girl special all night long, and these two did the same. Monday's must be slow.

Anyway, I paid Larry his fee and had La Fiesta with Claudia and Tatiana... they were great. They were both really into it, and we were laughing our asses off and having a great time. I didnt even try to negotiate the price and I tipped em both a little extra for the great attitude and service.

So, I'm just here to highly recommend that particular bar, and hope you guys have as good a time as I did.

The Astoria Hotel is so close to the action that you can walk. If you are concerned about 5 star hotels, beach, and/or tourists, then stay in Oranjestad. If you are in town just for mongering then stay at the Astoria.

Or is it better to stay at a regular hotel in Oranjestad and rent a car ?

i am in the maritime industry and had the good fortune of not only my ship visiting the refinery at san nicolas but crew changing there also which meant i was put up in a hotel for the night on the other end of the island whewre all the tourists are. i am not a guy to let a cabfare keep me from mongering. i took a taxi and it was 25 us. i went to san nicolas and walked around went to an internet place and checked my e-mails and started to see the women going to the bars, it was 6pm.

I am currently visiting Aruba and I went to the famous St. Nicholas area last night around 11:30PM. The place seemed quite deserted.

Try around 4:30 in the afternoon. The refinery shift gets off at 5 and all the girls are hitting the streets waiting for business. Another good time is 6-7 pm as the workers are done with their fun and have gone home for dinner and the evening crowd hasn't arrived yet. By 11:30 the girls are either busy in their rooms, out on a TLN or just plain worn out.

I was in aruba from june 27-july 4, it was one of the best vacations I had ever been on. I stayed at the wyndam and it was all inclusive. Aruba was very nice and the people was pleasant. I was only able to get to san nicolas once but made the most out of it. the prices to take a cab all over aruba are fixed by the governmet and can be kind of expensive if you go to san nicolas. I looked at the chart and from the high rise hotels it cost 32 u.s. dollars to get there one way. I took the taxi there and he let me out at one of the bars posted . I can't remeber which one. I went in and was greeted by 1 lady looking about 25 but over weight. shot a couple of games of pool and watched the other ladies watching me. it was about 5 girls total but I took everones advice and checked out the other bars before making my selection. Went into another bar called the gentlemens club. when I went in I saw no ladies but only 2 men the bartender and another man. I asked him if any ladies are there, he pressed a button and 5 fine ass girls came out one looking better than the next. but the started to grab on me and try to pull of my clothes in trying to get me to choose them. the one I wanted asked if I had any nose candy so I said not and got the hell out of there. I then went to another one just a 2 minute walk away. It had a erotic nmae to it but when I went in it was really nice and clean. the ladies were from colombia and venesuela. they spoke no english but othe ones they learned from song lyrics. it was fun trying to communicate with them. It was safe though. from the high rise area it takes about 40 minutes to get to san nicolas and even longer if you take the bus but it's a whole lot cheaper. I never felt k\like I was in danger and the locals were very nice and as you can see helpful. the girls are sexy and very nice and will do anything yuou want if you are nice to them. I bought my lady a couple of drinks and we played some songs and danced a few times before doing the deed. everthing in aruba was kind of expensive when I did my shopping so bring enough money with you. I did go to carlos and charlies and it was some action to be had there after it gets dark. also the igunae joes across the street is also good for action after dark. Some of the local ladies seem like they would be willing to play for play if you know were to look. along the flea market booths and in the supermarkets. also there are horny college ladies looking for a good time. I hope this report helps and lets get back to talking about mongering aruba is a nice place and one crime should not give the beautiful place a bad name.

Since this is not a forum about current issues and the virtues of teen Holiday Breaking on some exotic inland, # 3851’s post is not what I consider an opinion. Ours is a community forum dedicated to the art of mongering. If #3851 was making his initial comments about mongering, I wouldn’t hesitate agreeing with you. I would also agree that members, who have previously engaged in the mongering dialog, have every right to make comments to others without any reference to mongering. I do not, however, support the notion of an outsider obtaining membership solely to criticize another member. IMHO
