Thanks for sharing your experience. I've never been to Barbados, but I think all of us, at one time of another have fallen prey to the "he bought me a drink" scam and you end up getting sucked in to paying for it. Another poster over on the SXM thread had a similar experience at a club there so don't feel too bad about it. Some general drinking rules I follow are pay as you go, first and foremost. Never let the bartender start a tab for you. Stay clear of mixed drinks. Beers are usually you're least expensive cocktail. If you're not a beer drinker, order a water. Next, distance yourself from the bar. Sit away from it after you've purchased your cocktail. If a chica approaches you, and you are attracted to her and want to buy her a drink, ask her what she wants, get up, take your drink in hand, tell her to wait at the table and you go get her a drink and replenish your beer. And I'm not shy asking how much the chica's drink is going to be. Most of the cihicas on the up and up just drink water since they don't wan't to be gorda! And they want to keep their wits about them. Those you build a rapport with and take back for a session may want a cocktail to relax and enjoy the moment. If I sense a scam going on, I'll finish my beer and put it on the bar and walk out of the place, or return with just my beer and give the chica some excuse like, necisito visitar el banco para mas dinero. And that I'll be back. Remember, you can scam a chica, just using reverse tactics, just as easily as she's trying to hustle you, if you sense all she's looking for is to get a cut out of that fifteen dollar bill. If the chica net's ten bucks from that deal and pulls that crap with 5 guys in an hour, she's making almost room rent for the day, without even laying on her back.

In your case, I would have put two dollars on the bar, and told management, all you were going to do was buy her a water and if there was a problem, YOU will get the police. Sure the bar wouldn't want cops hanging around which would kill business, and you probably would have been on your merry way. But basically not welcome back during your stay.

I know you're on vacation and everyone likes to have a good time and not be overly vigilant, especially over something as harmless as buying a girl a drink, but it's a shitty feeling knowing you've been taken to the cleaners when your clothes weren't dirty! LOL!

She wouldn't take no for an answer, then finally decided that I had to buy her a drink to get her to leave me alone. When I refused, she went over to the bartender and told her that I was buying her a drink, and stuck me with a $15 bill. After a brief argument with management, I ended up paying it, but left shortly after. I had been debating about which of two girls I was going to fuck, but after that incident, I didn't want to give the club any more of my money.

After that, I went over to Club Tease, which I never would have found without this guide. The girls were nicer looking than Incognito, and more laid back as well. Had a few dances, but didn't fuck any of the girls there.

I think the island isn't suited to my style as a monger. I prefer the setups in SXM and Aruba, especially since I can easily get some daytime action from any number of places on the cheap. If those places stocked Jamaican and Bajan girls in addition to Colombians, I'd be in heaven.

What is great about mongering is that you can do it in many different ways. Most guys on vacation do not have the kind of time to invest in your approach, given no certainty of outcome. Especially in Barbados, where there are so many other great things to be doing and exploring. For me, easier to get laid in one of the clubs as a sure bet. If things click with the girl, then take her out the next day or sometime during the week. Have a great day, and get laid for free. The Jamaican girls working in Barbados love the day out. That $100 I spend in the club makes the rest a bargain. Mongers like me love the thrill of the hunt. Local knowledge is always welcomed on ways to go about it given the cultural differences that exist in many destinations. Thanks for reporting your approach. It is how we all learn. By giving back valuable, current intel.

I guess my boat was afloat. With my limited time on the island and a prior contacted local source quoting girls at $300- $400 USD I made my decisions not to go that route. The events of that day fit right into my scheduled time. If I would've had more time I would've played the field good. I was able to gather important intel and contacts and I was glad to share an experience that is not talked about much here.

11 years later my mindset is still the same, I smash and forget, its on to the next one whether I pay or throw my game at a regular girl.

You can rephrase it however you want. But the fact of the matter is this: if your methodology is "smash and forget," with no intention of ever making any significant contributions to ISG, yeah, that behavior will work as long as you have a few dozen posts to your name. But once you start getting into the hundreds of posts, other mongers on ISG will absolutely start looking at your post history to see if you're a "taker" or a "maker. " The "makers" will get meaningful help, while the "takers" will get called out and trolled. Myself and Scubatoo have tried to be nice and helpful, but apparently you can't or won't take friendly advice designed to help you in the long run on ISG.

You do what makes you happy, man. The good thing is that your responses to my comments and Scubatoo's comments are now part of your post history. So other mongers will be able to read them and judge whether they should help you or not. I think you'll find many more mongers on ISG to be in the latter category and not the former.

While in Bridgetown I caught a taxi to Boatyard club and hung out at Brownes Beach in the vicinity of Lobster Alive. The water was nice. Met some locals that were really cool. I had a good feel in Barbados. Afterwards we decided to head over to Vincey Town (as they call it). They showed me a spot where there are places to sit, drink and it. There were several places in the area which is off of Fairfield Street near the Bus Terminal and Jordan's Supermarket and backed up to Constitution River. I was told by my new friends that some women that hangout here are available. Cool. I am introduced to a lady who is a shop owner and I order us a round of Deputy and Banks Beer. Not bad and I continue to drink those while alternating.

After awhile I see a light skin 20 something chick in a tight skirt with a spinner body in line to get some food and I decide to approach her. She has tats and I find out that she is from Guyana, so I tell her when she gets her food to come sit at the table with me. I go back and sit down and chat with my friends about a place close by to take care of business. A spot is mentioned nearby and I take note. One of the guys has to go and I send him off with a beer. The chick get her food and comes over and has a seat next to me and we talk a little more. Damn she had some DSL's. She is down for some action and I negotiate $45 USD. Me, her and my friend head out to the nearby spot. We get to a place in King William and he wait for me outside and I go in with this chick. There is a woman downstairs and she talks with her briefly and she directs us upstairs. Now let me tell you guys something. This place is very HOOD and can be considered sketchy. I did feel good being there with a local who has steered me right so far.

Once we get upstairs in the room she tries to upsell to get totally nude and I decline. I get try to try to get comfortable on the bed and she tries to upsell a BBBJ, Wow. OK I see where this is going so I take control of the situation and put the hat on and get her started on a CBJ. She only does it long enough to get me up. She then takes off her skirt and I see that she has a butterfly tattoo covering her nice ass. She twerks her ass a little and I smack it. She gets on the bed and lays back. I play with her shaved kitty. Nice and tight. It nice and look really good. I am tempted to DATY because its right in my face but I resist the temptation. She might try to upsell that. LOL. After several Banks and Deputy Beers I decide to rolls out. I tip the bartender and exchange info with my friend. He takes me to a nearby taxi stand and I go back to Brownes Beach to chill out. Barbados was a nice experience with the local scene. I would return and explore more. If you are adventurous and want to check out a raw local scene I say "Go for it". You will have to have some street smarts and not to look vulnerable or afraid. Just enjoy yourself, be respectful, friendly and don't be naive. That's my take on my first experience there. More is to explored for sure!

No, it wouldn't. Two mongers can read the same information posted on the ISG forums and have completely different mongering experiences. If you are reading reports and taking information in order to monger, you absolutely need to pay back that help by contributing to the forums. ISG is a site where mongers share information in order to keep the forums fresh. It is not a site where mongers take information for their own selfish purposes and then not write trip reports. I check this forum for where to find street walkers in which ever country I'm heading to.

Once I land, settle down and enjoy the day, I head towards the area once the night falls. I have a few drinks, sometimes more, find a street walker, take her back to my airbnb or nearest cabana that she knows of and smash.

I repeat this sequence in any mongering friendly county I've been to. Only thing that changes is the food and drinks due to culture. Otherwise I keep it simple and straight forward.

Gentlemen, you are reminding me of my first full pledged mongering trip to Jaco Beach, Costa Rica, I was in my early 20's with a couple friends. We stayed at a girl friendly beach hotel recommended by my coworker, this was years before I knew of this site. Every morning most of the hotels guests, mongers, gathered in the pool area, the gents would talk of the previous nights talent as if it was their GF's, we felt a bit outside the bubble, we couldn't relate.

No, it wouldn't. Two mongers can read the same information posted on the ISG forums and have completely different mongering experiences. If you are reading reports and taking information in order to monger, you absolutely need to pay back that help by contributing to the forums. ISG is a site where mongers share information in order to keep the forums fresh. It is not a site where mongers take information for their own selfish purposes and then not write trip reports. Yet, you ask the same questions wherever you go. One could write a book in response to your questions. I will still take your advise and try to share more, but places such as Sosua there isn't much more to learn, place such as the Malecon in Cuba isn't anything new, it's everything I learned and experienced through here.

When I experienced something short of the convenience in CDMX, that we as mongers look for, I did my best to warn others, it's not a destination most of us look for.

If this forum doesn't have enough new info on places not so frequented, I simply re-visit where I know my way around.

Barbados is still on my list of places to visit.

I have no first hand information, but the increased content in this thread has piqued my interest. Barbados is reportedly the most educated and safest island in the Caribbean. I don't know about the particular night clubs reportedly with mongering action. Perhaps they attract the worst of locals, but most likely the management keeps control because they wouldn't want to attract attention since prostitution is not legal. A downside of Barbados is girls probably are not tested like on the Dutch islands. A positive is the island offers many non-mongering activities beyond nice beaches. There are caves, historical forts, surfing, etc. I hope to pay the island a visit, but mongering will not be my top priority. It will be a bonus if I find it.

I am looking for a winter retreat to buy in the Caribbean. Leaning toward the ABC islands because it is outside the hurricane belt. Barbados gets hit approximately once every 28 years.

Garrison is the road that completely circles the race track to the right as you head into Bridgetown from the east on H7. The website does not give its specific location. And I was unable to find it when I was there in November. This is the frustration of Barbados. Can you, or someone else, tell us exactly where it is on Garrison? Thanks.

I had trouble finding it also and texted the owner for directions. Next to the clock tower is the Stafford House office building. Enter the parking lot and to the right is a small red building. That's it.

Had a good time at Desire Touch Spa in Garrison in December. Website at desiretouch.com gives a good description of services offered. No FS but massage and HR by some very friendly Bajan girls made it worth the trip. Open during the day and within walking distance of the Hilton and Radisson.
