One week in Barbados, bottom line: bring your wife.
I’ve been a week in a beautiful island, wonderful climate, fine cuisine (high prices…) and very nice and polite people. But the fXXX department is closed!!! Or almost.
As a responsible user of this page I did my work on behalf of my fellow readers/contributors and went on the first night to the Zanzibar and Castro’s Café on Nelson St. right across the Bridge in Bridgetown. They are close to the bus station and have that smelly and noisy ambient of low, low end sailor’s bars near the docks. I wasn’t man enough to get into them, so if there other brothers that do that, please tell the results, but I can assure you that these are not gentlemen’s places, and I presume that the ladies are not of our taste.
Next day I tried with several addresses in the phone book: Pleasure Seekers Inn, and Platynum. Couldn’t find a cabby with even a hint of those places, even though I spent nearly US$30 (Taxis are extremely expensive, about 0.5 US$ per minute and don´t give much help in this subject). Finally the second guy took me to a place that cabbies call “Kentucky” but the official name is “Blue Babe”. It was closed, opening at 11 pm. It’s on Main Road, Chistchurch, Hastings very close to a EXXON and a KFC. Back at 11:30 pm (sacrificing my next day of work), I found the worst pick up place you can imagine: 50 customers (Barbadians), 3 girls rating from 4 to 6. The only “show” was a lap dance for US$ 10. And … smoking is prohibited!! Only two advantages: good Bajan beer (Banks) for 2U$ and better exchange rate that in the hotel. Girls were just for lap dance, and couldn´t abandon the place before closing (something natural provided the customer/girl ratio).
Finally I tried the massage parlors. One in Main road in front of the Sandy Beach hotel, called “La Caresse” lacaresse@cariaccess.com 435-3324, nice ladies (5-8 if you like black beauty), US$45 body massage, and US$ 20 additional gets you a CBJ and F. The gentle manners of the ladies are nice, but the enthusiasm is so low (perhaps there is something subtle in the politeness that I can’t decipher). Tried the Hands of Care Spa, 427 3117, very near to the Blue babe Club, a little better quality, same perfunctory movement of hands, but higher prices altogether.
No much reasons to come except that the beaches are wonderful, dining is excellent, people is very friendly and the place is really safe. With all that, who needs girls??

I'll be visiting Barbados for a couple nights next week (29th May). Anyone know of a good place for action - maybe an outcall service. Would appreciate the help.
