So I went to the Colombian place tonight, at around 1am and they were closed. LOL. I had a local guy escort me there so now I know I was correct about it's location. They were prob closed because it's a Monday night. Anyways, I also got some intel from a local dude who said pachis is supposed to be open next month. Unfortunately for me, I'm leaving too soon. LOL. I'm hoping to get some action tomorrow night from the Colombian place.

Posts: 60Where is the Colombian place? Sorry I am not on the island but may go soon so would appreciate some intel. Or can you at least tell me what I would ask a taxi driver (whats the place called?)

Posts: 3I've been checking pachis regularly but it hasn't been open yet. What a huge letdown. I last checked it last night. I drove by the so-called Colombian place but I was alone and I was hesitant to go in myself. Anyone want to go check it with me? I'm in Bonaire till the 3rd.

Pachi's fully closed Tuesday night and could not find the Columbian place. I know I was in the right area though.

What does not fully open mean? Was there tonight and it looked fully closed! But, it is Monday and that might be a closed night anyway.

Posts: 2Pachi's is not fully open yet
Just returned from Bonaire. Diving was great but Pachi's was not fully open yet. The one dude I found said within a few weeks they will be fully up and running.

Hired a local guy with a SUV to go sight seeing all over the island.
The scenery was breath taking, especially on the Northern part in the national park near the oil storage and loading terminal. All shrubs were pristine clean. You will find many iguanas warming in the sun on the road. There are lots of reef close to shore in this area. There is a maritime park up north where there are lots of sea life.
The guy took us bar hopping. There were a few good-looking young Dutch girls waitressing in bars and dive resorts on the North East shore, but we had no luck picking them up for sex. The guy took us to a few run down bars near downtown. Each place had 3 to 4 girls available. They were very dark and skanky.
We spent the whole night drinking then went back to hotel.

I think my plan of attack will be to fly through Curacao and spend my first and last nights at Campo. Anything I find on Bonaire in the middle will be gravy.

Will be there first week in July. Has Pachi's reopened? Is there a new place? Otherwise, any advice as how / where to find independents. Appreciate any help.
