Coming to Curacao on weds via cruise ship. I think we leave the island at 6 or 7 pm. Is it worth visiting Campo A that early in the day, or should I just skip it? Any other advise?

Posts: 62Campo in the news agian.
According to this local news article Campo current management team has been fired by its Dutch owner with exception of one. Seem like part of a few measures to come to restructure the place again.
Hope this all will be in benifit of the place.

Gents,
Will be in Curacao this week. How is the talent level in CA? Any recommendations on Colombians?

It is indeed a fairly big problem with the raids. It starts at the airport with immigration giving any single girl (especially from Venezuela) a hard time to enter the island. A couple of months ago, a local friend took me to a relatively quiet bar where there were a few girls but nothing special. So we just sat at a table chatting while the girls were busy with a group of guys on another table. Suddenly, a bunch of cops descended on the bar and within seconds they had rounded up the girls and handcuffed them. Even worse, on their heels came the local press looking for spicy pictures for the local rags. Quite a traumatic experience to be questioned by the cops (had to show IDs, and then they lost interest in us). We managed to escape in the confusion to avoid being featured in the news the next morning!

Cursnoop and Crjsim I think you're both probably right.
They're probably using local reports and complaints as well as online resources. I did hear about raids while I was there, but never saw anything first hand.

At MrFurley.
Following up on my recent post, I just got confirmation that the bar next to Campo has been raided by police again so that explains why you found it quiet. See for your self.

Unfortunately there has been way to much local police raids every single day for the past weeks so indeed you will find some of these places closed or empty (no girls).
I'm not sure they might have local intel looking through these forums, it might be likely so it will make it a little bit more difficult to share the new spots. You might need to PM me when you on island and I will be able to share the new more active spots at time you reach. I live here and I do visit the spots almost every weekend so I might be able to keep you updated on which are active and which are not. Remember the Venezuelan bar-girls most of them are staying illegal on the island and they have their local intels as well, some of them have local police BF's and they will tell them which day the raids are planned so they keep hiding and will not show up at these bars.
Going back to your review let me update you (and others):
Campo Alegre: these days is hit and mis. You might find a week full of good talent and you return in two weeks they all have gone. But at the other hand every week they have a handful of new girls arriving so you will need to keep visiting the place weekly to find what you are looking for.
Bars: Actually the same counts nowadays for the Bars as well. Because of the police raids lot of girls are being deported outside of the island or they will be hiding for the raids. Some of them just keep rotating to other bars where the business for them is better. Good news every week there are more and more new bar-girls arriving on the island as "tourist". So again you need to be patient and keep visiting these spots, nowadays the bars are hit and miss as well since there is a heavy campaign from the local immigration department to get as much bargirls possible off the island.
Bar near Campo: was a very good place. I like it myself because of the amount of girls and the vibe of the bar. Unfortunately the bar is dead for almost 2 months now due to the raids. I'm hesitating in taking it off the map. I will give it just one more week.
Flor de Noruega (aka Cuba weg): this place is the most solid bar indeed! Last week I could tell 45 bar-girls and a dozen men. Bro, I felt really harassed! The place is packed at some times. They always have fresh faces in between don't know how they manage to do this, I believe the place is famous and keep attracting more girls. However this same weekend I went there the girls told me there was a police raid a weekend before and they took a few girls that had no legal stay at the island.
WinCafe and bar next or dead, period! I will take them off and change the colors to grey of dead or at least put a note for those who want to visit so to not expect much. I would advice you to try "Tasca bar" instead it is just a block uphill same street as Wincafe (Frederikstraat) it is on the map. The quality there is good but put your car inside the fences as the hood is not safe.
Sokorro: is only open in weekends Friday. Sunday and it mostly a disco nowadays. There are no bar-girls to be found anymore but you might find freelancers looking for trade. Your best bet will be in the weekend after 1. 00 am.
The Fles: I thought this place has been closed by a recent raid? Ok. I will have to pay it a visit again so to confirm myself.
The bar next to the yacht: is nowadays only good for food nothing else so I will take it of the map.
Ramonsito bar: the bar was closed but they recently reopened and had immediate visit from local authority but this time they found nothing. All the girls had legal permits to stay as tourist for at-least on month. So lessons learned.
Emporium: is not a real girl bar, it is a disco. I don't remember I had it on the map, I will need to update that one.
There is quiet some more spots I'm not sure you manage to visit them all. But I have more new good spots but you will have to PM me because like I said I'm afraid the info here is being shared with the local authorities. I will go update the map now and also change the colors to indicate the places that are still hot and the ones that are dead as far as I know today.
Thanks again for your review.

Thanks for the map. I would have never have found 80% of these places if it wasn't for that map.
I tried to hit up a lot of places this is what I can remember off the top of my head without the map in front of me.
Campo: Mostly colombians. Some dominicans. Quality was ok, like I said I thought the quality was better outside. I think it was a bad time of year, I'm sure it gets better in certain times.
The bar near Campo. On the map it said 15 girls. I passed by a few times, it was closed once or twice the third time it was open but only a couple of cars in front, and I saw maybe 2 girls but that was it. Not sure if it's the day I visited.
Cuba Weg. Solid.
Wince Cafe and Bar next to it. The map says dominicans. I passed by maybe 3 or 4 times, both bars were always empty, the bar next door had two bartenders but they weren't dominican either, they were from Venezuela and not my type.
I passed by the bar between roodeweg and volks on a Friday, and it was packed. I saw some girls, but no parking. It seemed maybe a rough crowd, a lot of dominicans, people drinking outside their cars, I decided to leave this spot for later when I'm not solo.
I passed by Sokorro one night and it was closed. Maybe it's only open on weekends.
De Fles, I think is Des Flows? Anyway I stopped in one night, but they were having an event, they were playing live local Curacao music, and had a couple of table with older locals there. The place seemed nice, next to a good restaurant I would probably grab some food there someday. Seemed like a place I should check out again on a return visit, I think I just caught it on a bad night.
Went to the bar / restaurant near the yacht club. I did see two girls on a weeknight, but not my type so I just left.
Ramonsito Bar. Found it and liked it.
Emporium. Regular bar, but seemed like a good place. I went with company on weekday night, I would go back alone to check it out.
I have 1 more spot which I thought was really solid, lots of talent, willing to trade that info for some local intel on some other hidden gems. PM me if you have something.

Quick update. I'll write up something more detailed if I have time. I passed through for the very first time. I rented a car and tried to find all the local bars going off of maps that had been posted previously. I couldn't find half of these places but the ones I did find were hit or miss, the ones that were a hit were a very good hit. Some of info on the maps is outdated. Some spots that were labeled as no-goes had more talent, and I think I found at least one new spot that's not on the map.
The quality outside of Campo is better, but that's only if you find the right bars, and have time to game the girls working in the bars. I only had a week, but managed to meet a couple of bar girls, but I needed more time. I didn't see a lot of tourist types in any of the bars. In two of the bars I did see a couple of Dutch customers twice but otherwise it's all locals so make sure you wing with someone or blend in. I blend in, speak Spanish and Portuguese, but I was still careful since I'm new to the area.
I hitCampo on my first day, and since the quality was better outside I only came back on the last day before my flight out and was with 2 girls at Campo before I hopped on the plane.
I'll be swinging back around hopefully for 2 weeks or maybe 1 month. I already have some local contacts that I can use on my next swing through.
Torso8, and other local guys. If you want to meet up and chase some tail PM me.
