There are no maids in camp. Nobody will clean your room. Or change your sheets or towels. Nobody will be in your room unless you bring a girl in from outside the camp. If you get a girl in camp. You will use their room.

Just like to add my experience also include once a year for the past five years in Sosua. Really big girls in Sosua. Plus the big girls like to wear spandex. Wish I had a spy camera. But you can find slim girls every night.

Quit worrying about getting a room guys. The will put you in one of the girls rooms. I would guess there 150 rooms. I was not there a prime time but I would guess that not every room is ever used at one time. So have a backup plan for three hotels in town like using trip advisor. But expect 95% to get a room at camp.

As to computer. Unless you have some price tag hanging. I would not worry. Just keep the closet door and its dead bolt locked up when not in room. Is the guy in the office going to put it in a safe. No. But it is your choice. Just get a room that gets WiFi and you will not have to go outside with the laptop. Nobody will know you have laptop. If you do have to sit in the bar area, the girls will probably not guess price. I didn't have any problem with security. I have a netbook.

The camp in color of woman is just like Dominican Republic. There are dark skin and light skin. Didn't see any Haitian.

This early on in the season, I am sure they can find you a room at Campo- depending on the day they run $60-100.

You will probably get one at the rear of the 200 rooms.

The girls at Camp Alegre stay at the camp. They are required to be on the property 6 pm to 6 am. But they are there own boss. So they can stay inside their room until 11 p or all night.

They have cable TV on 24 inch flat TV and A/C. So they do not have sit by the door to cool off. They can just hang inside.

So how do you find them during the day. If you walk around 2 pm. You will see about 5-8 hanging outside of their rooms. As it get closer to 6 pm there are a few more.

The camp is basically is divided in two areas with the bar area in the middle. So you will see the same girls more often on your side of camp walking around.

Most of the girls will eat at the outside restaurant. Which is on the one side of the bar area. So if you hang out and work on WiFi you will see the same half of the girls walking between their room and the food. The girls will talk to the guys as they are getting food. But they are not hanging out in the bar area during the day waiting for a guy. Occasionally a couple of girl will sit down at the outside table and talk to each other. But you are not going to arrive at camp at 3 pm and find five to ten girls waiting to talk to a customer in the bar deck area.

At night. Some of the girls hang out by their room and do not go to the bar area. I would guess about 10-15. About 6 girls on each side outside the bar area will hang out there and do not walk into bar area. 20 feet away. There are usually about 20 girls hanging in the bar area on the outside covered deck. Slows down around 12;45 pm.

There are usually two girls that will do two dances each around 11:10 and 12:10. Second dances naked or semi naked.

Tuesday night - 15 f special meal. Chicken and ribs. Chicken is good. Rib overcooked and waste of time. Just buy the regular food. The place is packed with about 200 people. Notice about 10-15 foreign girls checking the place out. Why would anybody come that night from in town. Just pick any other night to find a girl. Why have the competition. But there was a band with horns.

I notice that there are always 4-6 guys playing dominoes. Never saw them chasing girls. Plus you will see one to two table with locals sitting down sucking up a bottle of booze for two hours. Never see them with girls. Of course Friday and Saturday night the busiest. You can see a lot of guys walking around. Going to guess about 75 guys during those nights. While other night about 50 guys.

There are three or four pool tables. I can't remember but I think there might be a foosball table. Plenty of TV for sports including one giant screen.

Just got back a week ago after staying at a room at Camp Alegre. Some advice and details to help you decide to stay at Camp Alegre. Did not call or write in advance. They probably would not reply. They are going to give you the same room one of the girls would use. So they always have an empty room for a guy.

Rooms are $60 US a night. There are signs that no food or drinks are allowed to be brought inside. They will do pat downs on all guys entering camp at any time. They did not search my luggage. Keep the paperwork. So if you come and go. You can show paperwork to a guard to avoid having to pay entrance fee. Pay only for two days. That way if you do not like it. You can move to town. You can always pay later.

As stated above. All the rooms are the same. Room has mini deadbolt for a lock. So you are not using a door knob as a lock. The room is about 9 feet long by 9 feet wide. You get a air con with remote (you control when it turns off) plus about a 24 inch flat TV with remote. There is a closet with a regular door. The door has a deadbolt lock. So a safe is not needed. Couple shelves in the closet. Chair. Two 24 inch high by 24 inch wide two drawer furniture. There is 2 foot by 2 foot mirror in the room that is like a medicine cabinet. Bed is about double size or maybe a queen. Bathroom has a shower. Shower and small sink have push button for 30 second. No hot water. Cable TV probably 90 channels. Half American channels like CNN, CNBC, cbs etc.

OK to drink the water. They provide sheets and towels. WiFi was told not working. At the bar during the day. WiFi worked great on laptop at all times. My phone it worked 90% of time. Would work 15 minutes then stop for 15 minutes. There was three different WiFi signals in camp. Told them I wanted room to get signal. Which is by the bar. No. The guy puts me in third building from bar and on the opposite side of bar. No signal in my room.

No ATM. But can exchange $100 at camp. Also, the airport is 20 minute walk from camp. It is a 2 lane road with a dirt walkway about 5 feet from the road. ATM machine outside by arrival area. Plus there is a currency exchange bank, outside. Closed when I was going home at 11 am. So I went inside and change my currency back to the US by going to busy place selling food. No problem. Also there is a Wendy at the departure area in a separate building. Prices are good for an airport. It was 6 for a hamburger 8 if you include a large coke and large fries. The barbecue chicken was 1 higher. Probably a good place to get food when you arrive. Two minute walk from arrival area.

Taxi from airport to camp was $20 US for a five minute ride. The camp had somebody hanging out for ride back to airport at $15. You might want to rent a car for your first two days. $35 a day. Easy to find the camp. When you go out to main road take a left. You will go straight about a half mile and the road curve to the right. After the curve, look to you left beyond a tiny hill and you will see the giant green leave. Make a left. It real easy. Plenty of free parking.

Gym equipment does not work. I use to take a 10 minute walk inside the compound for each lap. You will not see any girls working out.

There is a small 10 table outside restaurant. Girls are eating there after 1 pm. So you can hang out there or sit close by and work on WiFi. 4 for a bottle water. 6 for a 12 oz Presidente beer. 5 for a smaller different beer. 8 for coke and whisky.

There is a huge grassy area in the back. The 25 foot by 25 foot is out there. Don't know the depth of the pool. But you could definitely take a girl out there. No fences but I would guess nobody would notice anything happening. Of course it is not heated. There is pool furniture to lie or sit.

Ground are kept very clean. Herd the leaf blower everyday. They have trash cans around but they keep the lids on. Didn't notice any bugs inside the room or mosquitoes. But there was a trail of ants outside. Security around all the time. Ten foot wall on three sides. But brush area toward the ocean and airport area. Feel safe from anybody sneaking in. As to the people entering thru the front?

Usually they can acomodate you.

It is hit or miss.

I usually know a chica or two that are there so I ask them to get me a room.

Worst case senario you can check your luggage wit security, hang at Campo in the daytime, go out in a car for diving or whatever, and return at night. Then about 2 Am find a chica to spend the night with. I have done this a few times and it also works well.

Some times I have to lay over to get to Colombia from St Maarten and it works for an overnighter if it is late and I have an early flight.

I don't believe so. I was in Aruba with my ex earlier this year and we couldn't get antibiotics for bronchitis. We had to see a doctor. The nice pharmacist explained to me that they follow Dutch law when it comes to prescriptions and a lot of visiting Latinos get super pissed they need to see a doctor for medication that they buy over the counter.
