I'm so surprised that they quoted you these inflated prices. I mentioned this in an early post but, just for the record, I was there for 6 days and only one lady asked me for more than 50 guilders. I've heard that some ladies will ask for more if you wear expensive clothing, watches, jewelry, or flash your cash; so those are things you'd want to avoid.

My advice would be to stay firm on your 50 guilder offering price. Also, don't let them talk you down to less than 30 minutes. (I was always able to get an hour simply by asking for it once. Negotiating was not difficult at all).

If the ladies still don't take your offer after the first few hours, you can always increase your offer to 100 g. (100 g=$56 USD) so it's still not too expensive.

Yeah, the Renaissance looked nice; I didn't go in the casino when I was there, but their parking garage is free which is super-convenient. If you're interested, there's a few good restaurants in the Riffort shopping plaza next door. The prices are a little higher there ($25-$40 entrees), but the food is excellent.

Arrived yesterday, rented a car and went to Campo. Was schooled immediately by the locals. Don't ask how much, tell them 50 guilders and that's that, if you want to give them something extra, a tip, not a problem. Lessons we have learned since arriving LOL 1. Rent a car the cabs here are very expensive 2. Use, if I can say this here, an app on your smartphone called Waze. It is amazing. We haven't gotten lost yet. 3. Mambo Beach, very nice, a lot of eye candy. If you're going in the water wear water shoes there's small rocks in the water makes it difficult to traverse. I found out the hard way. Lots of shops, restaurants and or cafes. They also have public bathrooms, as I've heard some of the recommended beaches don't. Also went to the Renaissance Hotel very nice place from what I can see. Close to everything lots of shops also and a short walk across the bridge to small open air markets, nice. The casino there is very nice and they actually have three card poker, which for myself and my friends is a must. Holiday Beach hotel which I have seen listed here as the best casino, in my IMHO is not as big as the one in the Renaissance. Hopefully I won't get too plastered to remember my adventures from here on out. We will see.

Xanadont, thank you for the information on 'alternative places' on the island. I was under the impression that Campo was the only spot. I have visited the island and I was impressed by Campo's setup. Pretty unique as far as I have seen. Relaxed and safe atmosphere, accessible 24 hours a day. Going back this year for a rematch. I'll be sure to check out the spots Xanadont mentioned.

Curacao is a small island but a little complicated gettin to places if you don't know your way around. So I will suggest you to move around with somebody that knows the island or live there. Xanadont, I think the list you found is rather outdated as all of the places have been shut down a long time ago. Campo is the only credible place especially for foreigners due to the secure location and almost a guarantee of getting a girl to suit each person's taste. There are a couple of really local bars on a street called Cubaweg which are frequented by locals (was taken to the place by a local friend of mine a few days ago) where there are a lot of latin women sitting around the bar. They earn their keep by convincing you to "buy" them a drink and they get a cut of about US $5 for each drink from the house. I heard some of them will also go back to your hotel with you if you pay the bar a US $55 fee for taking the girl out and then separately for the girl.

I was at Campo the same night and found a very nice Dominican light skinned young one (24 years old) with small natural tits. Got a fantastic BBBJ followed by covered sex. At JohnnyVegas. In my personal experience, no amount of alcohol will counteract the effectiveness of V or see. However, it will affect my ability to "finish". Sucks if you have a 30-minute session, but if I'm doing a TLD or TLN, then I can just go for what seems to be indefinitely.
