Margarita Island is located just east of the ABC islands, same climate so it probably also has the same atmosphere, economy etc right?

Margarita Island is owned by the nation of Venezuela. Controlled by a tyranical facist who is the king - of stripping from his people basic human rights, controlling the political process, robbing the country for his own personal aggrandizement and controlling elections of countries such as the recent presidential election in Bolivia.

I know a bunch of retirees living in MI that just hope the day never comes where Chavez decides to move his army in and seize their homes.

Sorry guys this is a different place but there is no where else to ask the question.

There are a set of islands just East of the abc's, Aruba, Bonaire & Curacao. Its called the Islands of Margarita off the Venezualan coast. Does anybody have any mongering information about this island.

The town you fly into is called Porlamar and the beach to go to is Playa el Agua. As of now I can only find information about flying into there through Caracas, which is ok, its only $100 usd round trip.

They have scuba diving there I am just wondering if anyone knows anything about muff diving in Playa el Agua. I did read on one info page there might be some local working girls hanging out at the clubs. I know there is probably no Brothels or Strip Clubs and thats not a problem.

I am curious if there is any local action as I found in Roatan Honduras. Any help is apprecitated thanks.

Yes, Spanish verbs -- conjugated by person, tense and mode – are tricky. I don’t want to seem like a stickler but you managed to miss two tenses and forgot about the subjunctive mood all together, not to mention the 'leismo': ‘sabe’ and ‘mata' are present (tense) and indicative (mood). A native speaker would most likely say ‘Si su madre supiera (imperfect [tense], subjunctive [mood) lo mataría (conditional [mood])

i always use them in letters or emails but in person i get lazy. in latin america, in "real time" i would probably say "si su madre sabe, ella le mata?"

which literally translated means "if you mother know, she kill you"

this really isn't proper speech but the girls can follow it and besides i don't have to stand there staring off into space while i fumble for tenses

I've never seen her in campo either, or don't remember since she's not my type anyway.

Regarding work: colombian girls do work in other places. I've met a colombian girl working in the Ostrich farm bar in Curacao and another one in a restaurant in Aruba. She was really hot and we set a date(with no success) - I could not get to her because got stuck in St. Nicolas for obvious reasons:-)

so if a colombian girl is working on an island, it does not mean she's working as a prositute although it is most likely.

Thanks for the photos. Angela is very sexy, but I don't know her. ALL the girls I've met in Campo thru the years said that they told their families that they're in Curacao working in food service (waitress, cook)

They return with money so they need to present some reasonable explanation to their parents and siblings about how they earned it. Most have little or no education so any other type of job except "food service" wouldn't seem believable. (They're all really working at Campo)

I met a girl in Medellin her name is Angela and she is currently unemployed but seems to live OK in medellin.

She is coming off as a non pro but she told me she was in Curacao for a few moths and has been backin Medellin for a month or 2.

I asked herwhy she was there knowing full well about Campo because I was ther e a few years ago as well as last year in San Nicolas in Aruba. Shesays that shewas there on a work Contract as a food services manager, I am not sure if they bring in women from Colombia for that as well.

Does not seem extremely educated I really can not picture her slinging foosd in a resort or them bringing in a colombiana for this her name is Angela and I am posting her foto, If anyone hasseen her in campo let me know, I am not going to confront her or embarass her it is so I know what I'm dealing with.
