I flew KLM twice to Curacao and 1200 USD would be a bargain. 1200 EUR would be realistic.

Think it will be very hard to push down 1200 USD from, Spain no matter if you fly direct, via North America or South America.

I got a good deal with DAE once, when I was in SA, so if you can fly yourself to Panama or any other of their departure cities, you maybe can save some money. http://flydae.com/.

Spent the weekend in Curacao and hit Campo both nites. Here's my short report!
