First, rent a car at the airport. The smallest with a manual transmission is about 25 bucks a day from major rental agencies. Go online and check out the website for Airport Hotel Curacao, which is a stone's throw from both Hato and Campo. Advance booking for the cheapest room comes out to around 70 bucks. Place has a pool and a small casino. You'll be 5 minutes from Campo. There is no beach though, so you will have to do some driving to get to Mambo Beach, which is basically on the south side of the island, and you will be on the north. You'll be fairly close to some fast food joints and a major Supermarket, along with the smaller ones. My last trip I stayed at an AirBnB property, but the Airport Hotel is as close to Campo as you can get. You can also ask about getting a room in Campo. Think it's around 60 bucks a night. Seems like there were lots of vacant rooms in the 100's of the complex, so you can roll the dice and show up and see if they'll accommodate you. Then again, if you've got game, hang out with a chica and ask her when she calls it a night. Sundays and weekdays, some chicas shut down around 2"00 am, depending on how busy Campo is. If you've got a rapport with a chica, strike a deal and stay in her room. Shower and TV are in the rooms, though sure she'd be tired and want to get some rest. They have to pay somewhere between 60 and 70 bucks a day to Campo for their room rent, so offering maybe 80 to 100 for six or seven hours of sleep with a hot latina, may work if the girl is having a tough time paying the rent.

Last visit when I was there a couple of weeks ago, some girls were struggling. Think they only let them fall maybe three days behind and if they aren't current with the rent, they send them packing back home. Figure a chica needs to make at least 120 bucks a day to pay for room, eat, drink, and buy some necessary toiletries, just to break even and stay afloat. At 50 NAG (30 USD) a pop, a chica needs to have at least 4 guys a day. Less if she's top shelf and commands a higher price. However, I saw some chicas during my visit that I wouldn't go near, not that they were hideous, but I had no interest or attraction in them. In fact a couple looked like they belonged in a college library, studying for a chemistry test. In other words, they weren't hot.

Just watch your drinking, because the small Polar's go down rather quickly, and if you stay anywhere but the Airport Hotel, you've got some driving ahead of you, and trust me, you don't want to F**K up the rental car and have to deal with the police for an alcohol related accident.

I'm in Curacao and I saw a guy with curly hair wearing a Yankees baseball cap standing around in a tourist area.

I was too in the open to inconspicuously take a pic so I kept walking.

15 min later, I see him again. This time he had a couple of tourists with him and they were walking to the taxi stand.

He started talking to the taxi driver. I guess he was negotiating on their behalf. Very easy at that point to take his pic.

Anyway, my review of El Campo:

Got there around 2 pm instead of 11 am like I planned.

The place was dead. Saw only about a dozen girls and only 1 of them was attractive to me. Unfortunately, she was chatting up a middle aged gringo.

I got a beer and sat at the porch. A couple of girls walked by and waved at me but none came up to chat.

I finished my beer and started to get bored.

I didn't want to feel like I wasted my time and leave empty handed.

So I picked a girl that met my minimum.

She was skinny and spoke very little English. There was no sign she had a kid, which was what I was afraid of after her clothes came off. Yeah, I should have asked to see her stomach beforehand.

I go to the bar to get another round and I see this black guy, not that short though, so my bad for not remembering. But a day of drinking Polars does have it's effect. Anyway, the guy is wearing a weathered NY Yankees baseball hat. See'Mon. , baseball season is over and how many guys in Curacao are die hard Yankee fans? It's all coming back to me for my oversight. I go over and say Torso! It's ClubTed. He was one hell of an actor. He ran with it the entire way. I was so consumed by my chica friend and her friend I didn't have much of a conversation with the guy, figured it was you and just glad to have connected. I go back to the girls. Then back to the bar and the guy comes over to me and says buy me a beer. Thought it was you, so as I promised we'd have a beer, bought him a Polar. Went back to the chicas, then back for another round. The guy (that I thought was you, see's I've been given 2 USD dollars in change and asks me for a dollar. I thought that was kind of odd, but hey, what's a dollar for all the intel you give. That was pretty much the last that I saw of the guy. Was thinking afterwards that this guy doesn't seem necessarily that computer / internet literate and was wondering how he was so engaged online. Plus asking for a dollar was strange, but I went with it.

LOL, I'm flattered man you mistaken me for a crackhead with a NY cap you were so wasted I can't tell if it's from the alcohol or punany LOL. I gave you my number as I said before you should have just download the WhatsApp and the rest would have been a walk in the park. Speaking of that it reminds me of the best tools so far for mongers:

1.) Social media apps (tinder, badoo, cupid, tagged) good when hunting for freelancers in unknown territory.

2.) Messaging platforms (Whats App, Facebook messenger) get there numbers and set up a date and or location for meeting.

3.) Web mapping apps (Google Maps and such) use it to navigate to wherever you want to go and or even use street view to get to know the surroundings.

I'm glad you had a good time in campo and that shows again that each of us experience is different when it comes to this sport. The only down side is that we have never met! I'm sorry to break it down to you buddy but you probably mistaken me by somebody else with a NY cap, I mean I told you I was wearing one but I figured you know there is more than one guy that wears a fitted around that place, LOL. Anyway the most important is that you enjoyed and you did your diligence so the chances of being taken advantage of were very small compared. The more time you spend there the easier it gets to score those diamonds in the rough. I hope we can really meet next time download whatsapp and use it to send me a message or call it is that easy.

All I can say is WOW, and I can't believe I've been missing out on this place for the past 25 years. Long time SXM visitor. Recently have dabbled in Aruba, and have now, finally made it to the Promised Land of Campo Alegre. Flew in from Aruba last Thursday. After checking into my apartment, did a drive by of the place to get a feel of how long it would take to get there and back. Was tired from the long day as well as the Balashis I drank earlier, so figured I'd play it safe and stay in Thursday and get to Campo on Friday. Our man on the ground Torso does exist and he does wear that Yankess ballcap! He was waiting for my arrival Thursday at the bar. But that had to be tabled until the next day. Arrived Friday and knew already the room number of my chica friend which was in the 200's. Scouted out the 100's and said Hello, to a pretty Colombiana with a little extra junk in the trunk, but decided to get the party going. Can't remember if I gave her 30 dollars or 50 NAG, but basically the same for what was a great way to kick off the Campo experience. Ended up meeting up with my Colombiana friend and Torso as well that night. Place is heaven on earth. Totally safe, you walk around and experience a new dimension of the term "window shopping. " My neck is still hurting from turning it so much. Stayed fairly late on Friday. Took Saturday night off to recharge, then back at it again on Sunday. Sunday presented a bit of drama with my chica friend so that was interesting. Spied a cute blonde Dominicana that I was all set to pull the trigger with and just as she was about to close the door she wanted the money up front, so I bailed on that red flag.

Head out of Campo to gas up the rental car, then over to Centrum Supermarket for some hydration. Planned on spending 3 hours at Campo before turning in the rental at the airport. Knew my chica friend was toast from the previous night and there was no way she'd be up and about. Got back to Campo and paid the entrance fee for the third time in my visit. Just a heads up. It's less expensive if you pay in local currency rather than dollars. A 7 oz. Polar comes out to 3. 50 if you pay in local currency vs. 4 bucks in American dollars. You can suck those 7 oz. Down like water. Over a five day stay, that's 25 to 30 bucks you've pissed away. Literally.

So last day, last chance for romance. I'm hanging out on the porch of the bar and I'm talking to this small Colombiana that is getting cuter by the minute. She's sporting a tight tank top and Aviator sunglasses and short shorts. I'm into her and I sense she's into me. I'm asking her prodding questions about what she likes and she's agreeing to everything, and so far, nothing is off the table. She shows me nude pics of her on her phone, she's sporting a nice tan and I decide, this is my last hurrah. Vamos! Get to her room and I can care less about my chica friend. Now this is where things get interesting. Get in her room, she gets naked, washes up, does the obligatory girl piss on the toilet, then washes me. Start with some light kissing standing up, then she pushes me down on the bed. Told her earlier Quiero comer yy lamer su cono. She then says to me Coca? She proceeds to open up her nightstand drawer and pulls out a baggie. The same size baggie you put liquids in when you board a plane. Of cocaine. Tony Montano would have been proud of her. She tells me she knows the biggest dealer around that deals in bricks. Or at least that's what I thought I understood. I told her I was ok, she did a little blow then off to the races. I was so caught up in the moment, I never got her Whatsapp or Facebook contact info as we were approaching my drop dead timeline of having to leave. She told me she's there until January, so that might be enough to entice me to make a return sooner than later. Left her and while heading to the exit saw a Dominicana smoking a huge joint that aromatically was some of the best shit I've smelled from a distance in quite a while.

So many upsides to Campo, can't see myself doing any other venue in the Caribbean ever again. Appears the parking lot killing awhile ago was an isolated incident. Two girls showed me the video of the guy on the ground in the pool of blood trying to be revived by someone that had no clue how to do CPR. Not sure who is sicker the assailant, or the idiot with the phone recording some poor guy taking his last breaths.

If Campo is on your bucket list. Don't hesitate to make it happen. Peace out Torso!

Do you know if there's anything within walking distance of the pier? (IE: 1 mile).

There is nothing available nearby at that time. There is a some SW that hangs around couple blocks behind the movies in punda in the waaigat area but I wouldn't do that if I were you it can be dangerous and as I said before you won't find anything there between the hours you'll be in town except trouble!

My best experiences was during daytime because they are not watching the clock and will be more relax which give you a better session. Wow crazy to hear what happened. I'm going down for the second time in about a week and a half is campo still open and has it been affected by this incident? I went last year for the first time around the same time of year and had a blast. Enjoyed campo, met some Venezuelan chicks off tinder and at the mambo beach party I met one Venezuelan working girl too but there were plenty of hot blonde Dutch chicks. Is there anywhere else to get action on the island? What is a good spot in cubaweg to meet Venezuelan chicks and how does it work since I know they can't put it out in the open? Is there any street action? Also I was reading on the Curacao list about a strip club called Club Havana does it still exist is there any action there or any other stripe clubs on the island? Campo is still open and it's business as usual I have not seen many clientele lately but I'm pretty sure with the holidays coming and everybody gettin their bonus checks everything be normal its always like that. The one thing I can tell you is campo is full of girls!

The way you went is the best way to get any other action here which is hitting beaches and regular spots and discos were freelancers hang around. Emporio is a nice place to start if you want to scoop some freelancers but it is not point and click! You going to need to put in work as any regular spot. 27 bar on Tuesday nights is a gold mine if you like Dutch interns, and beaches as mambo, and Zanzibar as well.

There use to be a lot of strip clubs here including Havana but all been shutdown by Dutch authorities in cooperation with us official's because of human trafficking agreements between both countries. The Venezuelan bars plenty of them but I suggest you stay in the cubaweg neighborhood because most of them shacks are not so gringo friendly.

The Cuba weg scene consist of 3 main bars each has its own clientele which 2 of them (Venetia, and Rick melao) function as after hour party place with freelancers posting their when other places start closing. The the&the bar also known as trago bar is the only one of them 3 that has a s line up of chica that exclusively work for the bar. They mainly work for tragos (drinks fee) and can be had for take out if your price is right.

You been here before so I think you will do fine again no need to worry just come and have fun again as usual.

Campo regulars. How does the Christmas / New Year's season typically affect the lineup at Campo Alegre? The conventional wisdom for Latin American mongering destinations seems to be that the lineup expands in the lead-up to Christmas because more girls want money for their Christmas spending, and that the lineup later shrinks after Christmas and into the New Year as the girls spend time with their families. I was wondering if this dynamic also holds true for the Colombian and Dominican girls at Campo Alegre, since they are away from home and given their immigration status and their relationship Campo. In other words, if I were to go the week before Christmas, would it be busier or about the same? If I were to go the week after Christmas, would it be slower or about the same?
