Well, unfortunately you're in Curacao with Campo shut down and COVID still on the radar. I've only been to Curacao once, but to save you some reading time on the board, you may want to check these venues out.

1) Supposedly on Cubaweeg, there are Venezuelan bars. I drove on this street during the day and couldn't find squat. It's not too far from Campo. My ride was during the day but couldn't discern anything that resembled a bar, and I'm pretty good at logistics. Ask around, either store owners on the street, locals, or a bar nearby and maybe you can get some better intel.

2) Again, Supposedly there are streetwalkers downtown near the bridges. I've never indulged because Campo was the honey hole! In fact aside from getting off the plane, getting to my Airbnb apartment and getting some food and beer, I lived at Campo during my trip! LOL. Never even made it to a beach.

3) Lastly, you can check out the most popular beaches (Mambo?) on the island and whatever beachside cafes might be nearby during the day, and see what might be open at night. You may get lucky with some freelancers that are on the island. Only problem with these three options is you are rolling the dice. No medical check-ups for whatever you may latch on to regarding a chica. And you may latch on to something more than just the girl that could put you in sick-bay yourself.

An advice for the next time do not book Exotic Escape, they are there just to overcharge you and to be a middleman for the girls. They take half the girls payment and you can get them even cheaper.

Any hope of Campo opening up again? So disappointed I found out about the place by chance on a cruise and then Covid hit and they went bankrupt. I planned to either take more cruises that went through there or just vacation there regularly. Are there any other places that are similar to campo? It was so reasonably priced and felt relatively safe and now it's gone.

Campo was a paradise. I spend a week of vacation in Curacao every January. During the day the beach and in the evening in Campo. The best vacation in the Caribbean. BlueMoon22 if you live in North America you can check out Tijuana, Mexico. Take a taxi ($ 6) from the border to the Hong Kong club and right next door is the Adelita club. The clubs are very safe and prostitution is legal in this part of town (Zona Norte). However, prices are more expensive than Campo. - Hong Kong club: sex $ 80 to $ 100 and room rate $ 30 per half hour. Adelita club: sex $ 80 and room rate around $ 21 per half hour. Mexican girls in the club look like girls from Colombia. Take a taxi back to the border. Both clubs were closed in 2020 because Covid. The clubs are open now but this Omicron is coming who knows what will happen in the future maybe they will close the clubs temporarily again.

Looks like Campo Alegre is slowly moving forward and bankruptcy is slowly moving forward. Does anyone know condition of the facility and if it is being kept up or maybe improved with a new paint job?

As far as I know Campo went bankrupt. So they are not opening back anytime soon.

As for prostitutes, you can try the Venezuelan bars but it is not going to be easy. You might find some if you spend a lot of cash but since Curacao closed border with Venezuela and a lot of them have been on the islands for like 2-3 years already and Curacao is a small island they do not want to get associated with prostitution, a lot have boyfriends and or kids and living with them here on a small island and doing sex for money is a no no. So it might take some time to get to know her and let her know your intentions but be ready to pay at least 200 dollar for pussy.

And it did go bankrupt--but, I was told some Dutch dudes bought it or are buying it--the plan is to renovate it and re-open in 2022. Hopefully nicer facilities and hopefully not too much more expensive. We shall see.

I believe the government of Curacao wants it open to reduce unmonitored prostitution and to help control std rates on the island.
