Hi,

Does anybody who has been to Campo lately know exactly how much the "multa" is for the evening? Also, how much do the girls usually ask for and what is a reasonable amount to negotiate down to?

If the going rate is $700/ night ("Multa" + the girl's fee), that is out of my budget. If the total price is around $400 ("Multa" + the girl's fee), I would be willing to try TLN at least once if I meet a 9 or 10. I know TLN is definitely not the best bang for my buck, so if TLN is more than my budget will allow, I will just forget about it.

The fee is ang 700 (700 FL) local currency. In dollars its $400. It's includes 200 FL that goes to Campo and 500 that goes to the girl. So basically that's all you paying but of course if you taking her out of Campo the food booze and other activities is going to add up to the bill. Now there has been a lot of prices increase in Campo lately so don't be surprise is 50 more has been thrown on the original price.

I realize its not for everyone but if I were to stay in Curacao a week (I plan to in the future someday) and I found a girl like Barbie again I'd probably do it one day / night. Outside of high end Asian massage parlors in big US cities, pay for play is 100% a waste of money in the USA. You would do so much better to save your money for a plane ticket and then play in Europe, Caribbean or Asia. Just my opinion of course but based on experience. If you are willing to pay the associated bar fines for a chica to be out at night, as well as whatever she is looking for regarding financial compensation, take out for whatever duration agreed upon is possible. The more economical way to go about it is to build a rapport and then take the chica out during the day to avoid the bar / club fine. I believe the chica is on her own time from 6 am Until 6 pm You could do a day at the beach and just have to compensate her for whatever she's looking for regarding money.

Keep in mind that these girls have to pay a daily room fee and other incidentals just to survive and break even. They are there to earn money to send back home to family and their small kids, since most have gotten knocked up at home, and then abandoned by the father, so you're dealing with lots of single mothers.

As much as you may "fall in love" with a chica, remember, she is there for economic purposes, first and foremost. It is difficult for a Colombian chica to get a visa to the United States, so any delusions of grandeur you have of having her come visit you in the states, are pretty much non-existent, and she knows this. On the other hand, if you're an American, you can visit Colombia without a visa and connect with the chica on her turf. I, as have many other senior members on this forum have done that. Met my girl in SXM and visited her in Bogota. Met another in San Nicolas that I would go visit in Colombia, but my adventurous spirit has somewhat diminished as I've gotten older.

Just remember this though the next time you visit campo. If you get locked in on one chica, you're potentially missing out on many others. If there are 150 girls on site, and only 10% are to your liking. That's 15 hotties you've got a chance to have fun with over a 5 day visit! 3 a day! Morning, noon and night! And by staying on property at 30 USD a pop and throw in some tip money for exceptional service. Comes out to about 500 bucks for 15 chicas, whereas one, can want that, just to be gone from Campo for a day!

Remember, when they are away from Campo, the meter is running. That's lost potential business on their part. Don't mean to come across in a harsh way, but most of the chicas are financially savy, and so you should be too, if you want to maximize your vacation funds the best possible way. However, if you have been a Powerball or other major lottery winner, knock your socks off and have a blast! LOL!

The recent post about this street had me do total recall to this from last December, so I figured I'd include it in my post. I was in Curacao last November, and I too could not find anything on Cubaweg. I was on the main road heading away from Campo and the Airport. Think it's Franklin Roosevelt Weg. Went down it for a bit, highly commercialized road. Then spied Cuba weg, which was a left hand turn. Did my recon during the day. Scanned both sides of the road, which seemed pretty safe to me. I've seen and been in much worse. Got half way down the road and pulled into a market, run by a little old oriental guy. Bought a Polar and looked around from the parking lot I was in, which was adjacent to a strip mall, and could find nothing that resembled a bar / club. Drove to the end of Cuba Weg, which becomes Winston Churchill Weg, or Road or Avenue. Banged a left which brings you back out to Franklin Roosevelt Weg.

So my questions are, 1) was I on the right Cuba Weg? It wasn't that far from Campo, the road I was on. Are these clubs set back from the road, or basically houses that "light up" with neon at night, and are they set back from the road? Again, I drove fairly slow on this road, which seemed like a pretty harmless neighborhood to me, despite some of the info posted on here. Will have to give it another shot next visit to Curacao.

Enjoyed reading the post providing some insight into what Campo was like 10 years ago. With cell phones now as mini-computers, guess the need for a PC room at the club has gone by the wayside. Noticed the gym which appeared to be in disrepair or out of order. Even think the little on-site store wasn't even open. Still, with some of noted decline by those that have visited for some time, (finally got my first visit in last fall), I still am sold on the one stop shopping concept and the relative safety the compound provides.

My only regret is that it took me so long to pull the trigger on visiting Curacao. Have been a loyal SXM visitor for decades, but haven't been back since Hurricane Irma. Guess I'm getting lazy in my older years, but Campo today vs. Back in it's golden era, still works for me. Especially vs. Trying to navigate the back alleys of San Nicolas in Aruba! Looking forward to another visit to Campo soon. Guessing they should be back to a decent line-up now that the Christmas and New Year Holidays have passed.
