Just small correction: you don't need to know papiamentu for the bars but Spanish will bring you a long mile with the girls. STD is an all time risk even in Campo so don't messup.

Once again you have provided great intel. I have located the map. I am a bit confused however. Is Cubaweg just the name of the street or is there a bar by that name as well? As it turns out the apartment I have rented is close to the street Cubaweg. I see on the map a few bars marked along this street.

I have a couple of months to learn some basic Spanish so will give it a go. Thanks again for your advise.

It all depends how good the girls English is, or if she able to understand spanglish, I have seen some tourist at Cubaweg (a popular place to pickup Venezuelans) but he had a wingman to help him translate, but it is better to you to learn some Spanish you will vibe better with her and also its easier to game her, if she is feeling you you can hit her without paying maybe you need to just drive her to work and home and buy her some food. There is not a fixed price for Venezuelans because its not a legit business with a fixed price some may charge you 200 others 50 . The best bars for tourist is cubaweg its close to campo but it is still a local spot with that I mean the place doesn't look like a tourist attraction. I have been a loyal visitor to Sint Maarten for 6 or 7 years; visiting 3 to 4 times a year. I have been reading the Curacao thread with interest all the time thinking Campo Allegro would be a fun place to visit. With conditions being what they are in Sint Maarten I am considering changing my planned November trip to Curacao. I have a couple of non-mongering questions for those experienced with the island.

1. Is it possible to pay for most things with US dollars or is it better to exchange money to the local currency? (Guilders I believe).

2. Do people drive on the right side of the road? (as opposed to the left not the wrong side).

Any advice would be welcomed.

You'll have more of an opportunity to interact with the chicas at Campo than at the bars in SXM. The girls are everywhere, in the bar, on the streets, at the snack bar, etc. There seems, at least to me, to be less pressure and hustle as well. I like to get there early, just before sunset, sit on the big porch by the bar and watch the camp come to life. You'll have a chance to see many of them and you can sit and chat for a while. Unlike SXM, there are no room fees or time limits, just the inexpensive entry fee. I've spent hours in a room with a girl, just because we enjoyed each other's company. I think you'll like the relaxed, mellow atmosphere.

I will miss Sint Maarten but am looking forward to experiencing the island and Campo Allegro in particular. From what I have read on the form the mongering experience will be different. I enjoyed the up-close and often crowded bar scene in Sint Maarten. I found it provided an opportunity to get up close and personal with the Chica's before committing to a session. (Some definitely looked better from afar.) It also allowed a chance to interact and see what kind of chemistry developed.

Yes you can pay with US dollars but I prefer to use Guilders. You can get both from the ATM there. They drive on the right side but it pays to be careful.

I found the best way to exchange money without ATM or Cambio fees is to pay you entry to Campo with a US $100 bill. They'll give you the change in Guilders.
