I have a question. I am invited by an international help organisation to come to Port au Prince shortly and to stay around 1- 2 weeks. I assume they will have accomodation for me in sort of a tent town or something like this.

Just a question for those guys who now the scene. Aren't there any hotels available, which are safe? I hear all sorts of stories on the news here, which make me think if I really should go for this trip, although I certainly would be willing to help.

Is anybody able to give me some recommendation with regard to possible hotels that have been rebuild or which had not been destroyed. Does something like this exist?

Okay guys the house near Delmas 75 is now a reality. I will be working with the lady who owns the house. She is in the U.S. now but will be coming in two weeks. Her dad will be helping but he is getting older and cannot do much so she is depending on me to keep all her important services working properly. This will include water, electricity, and internet. Her dad has already said he wants to turn the roof into a restaurant club with a dance floor. It will be a guest house open to anyone but you mongers wlll still be welcome. In Haiti you have to remember that it is not unusual to be staying at one of the so called elite hotels and see some old fart like me check in with a hot 20 year old babe.

We are still planning the house by the beach which will be pure paradise.,

I have picked up girls in Haiti in the past and thought they were the best I ever had, then the next time they were the worst I ever had. I have picked up girls and thought to myself, I could have done just as good with minnie five fingers and then just out of curiosity tried the same girl again and she would be awesome. I think it all depends on how you approach the girl or what you mind is on at the time. The big difference in Haiti is they are capable of being your girlfriend for a day or a week or longer. If you have your mind fully on your job as the Gentlemen Traveler did while he was here it makes it difficult. He was actually worn out from riding through the rough streets of Haiti to really relax at night. This is one reason why I like it out be cause you do not have to put up with the crazy driving in the city. If everything goes with what we are planning we may have 2 places. One in the city and one at the beach but right on the beach where you can skinny dip with your babe at nights. There will also be a salt water pool for the pussys who are afraid of the big bad sea.

No seriously, when I would come to Haiti on a contract, I had good nights but too many times I had bad nights because I just could not get in the mood. If you are not in the mood then it is very difficult to get your babe in the mood.
