Before going this time, I was reading many reports that this is the in-thing at the moment, especially at night. I was totally disappointed. I went several times at different hours of the day. One night we passed it even at 1 AM. I never saw more than 3 girls in that place at any time. Girls were certainly younger than their counterpart at Café Orleans, but the quality was nothing to write home about.

Cafe Exedra various at different hours. It is about three times the size of Cafe Orleans, so the girls are quite spread out. First a restaurant in Recoleta. Dave introduced this one to me and I thought this ought to be included in this space. Thanks Dave!

Restaurant's name is GRANT (like the US President). From Etoile, continue on Junin, pass Vincent Lopez, turn left on the next street. The restaurant is on the middle of the block on your left. It has a big logo of President Grant, you can't miss. Now you have to be really hungry to get to this place, otherwise don't go. It is all you can eat buffet, inclusive of, may be 200 items (salads, Chinese, sushi, desserts etc etc etc). At night try to go before 9 PM. This place tends to be very crowded after that. Cost is 11 P weekdays and 13 P weekends.

Prices are definitely creeping up. This trip cost me lot of money, personally. I attribute the major part on the devaluation of dollar (more than 20 % compared to last Fall) and my tendency to live "nicely". However, for quality Internet escorts, you almost have to pay 150P/hour, which used to be 100P. Club girls in early hours will invariably demand 200 P/hours. These prices are after extensive negotiations. I am not saying you have to pay these prices (I never did, since I never do short session at night, all TLN) or lower prices do not exist, but more skills are necessary in the art of negotiations than ever before. Newbies will be killed left and right, especially if they are Spanish challenged. Price of drinks and admissions in every club is creeping up. At Madahos, if you want to take out a chica before 3 AM for TLN, it will cost you minimum 130 P (your drink/admission 25P and 3 drinks for the chica @35P each). My regular from Madahos saved me lot of dinero by coming directly to my hotel those four nights. Prices in Black is insane. Downtown clubs may be little cheaper, but not by much. Something to think about when you are planning your next trip.

Day 15 – Last full day in BA

The morning sun never poked through the overcast skies. The temperature was bearable but the gray winter skies reflected my sadness that this was my last full day in BA...this trip. The night was even worse with several downpouring periods of rain to drive home the looming depression.

I decided to make the most of the day and did the Spa thing. What a delightful experience. A real first class operation at Colmega Spa. Be sure to do the VIP or first class version. It only costs a little more to go first class and at the spa I am sure it was money well spent. Next trip to BA I will go there as soon as I get situated in the hotel. The steam, the heat, the service, the ladies, and all there to help you relax and enjoy life.

For an afternooner I decided to walk around the corner from Art Suites and try the 2254 French Street brothel. Now I have not been in a brothel as such since I left Germany in 1988. French Street is a very nice and clean operation. The selection...if one is a selection...was nice and we (read I for sure) enjoyed ourselves. I did have to go back to Art Suites before entering French Street. I am not sure what the sign on the second door says in Spanish, but I am fairly certain that it said no cameras allowed inside. For my last supper in BA, I had to do Argentina beef one more time. Beef lomo, as they refer to tenderloin, is to die for here. The size of the portions alone make it wonderful, but the quality of the beef is unheard of in the US. The range feed beef seems to be much leaner than American beef. My huge hunk of beef was done perfectly and I savored each bite.

I decided to try the downtown clubs tonight. I had not done the Hook and Ness clubs this trip. Being that it was early I stopped in Orleans for a beer and eye candy before hitting the clubs. Alas, that was a mistake. A good mistake. I never made it to the clubs. I spotted a cute little blonde that I had not seen in Orleans before. A bit of conversation and we were off. I started to head back to Art Suites and realized I had never experienced the Horizontal Hotel. Around the corner we went.

Alas, this morning I cannot remember the little lasses name. She was decent, but not the best of the trip. Not the worst of the trip either. Not having my camera, pictures were never an issue. She performed well enough but just a little too professional and too mechanical. Note to self, always take the Vigel along, it seems to enhance a GFE with the ladies. Day 6

Hola Piratas!

I wake up at noon today. Into the shower and I hear the maid come in. I think she´s here early because she has to make up all the beds. There are 4 beds in this apartment, and we will need all of them on Friday. ;-)

I head over to the jewelry district, Corrientes and Libertad to do some shopping, but there is nothing of interest. I think I´d like to see what´s happening at the Periplo, so I start migrating my way cross town through the microcentro. I stop at Galerias Pacifico for some more shopping and when I step back outside it is spitting rain. I swing by Cafe Orleans to see what´s on the menu. It´s probably about 6:30pm, or so, and I sneak a peak through the curtains as I pass by. Hmm... looks like the blue plate special. I continue on to Cutty Sark, just to fix the location in my mind and then finally I arrive at the Periplo. It´s been raining the whole time and I enter probably looking a little like a drowned cat.

It´s very quiet in here. There is one other male customer sitting at the bar and 5 or six mujeres seated at the tables across from the bar. I´m not sure you would call these ladies chicas. They look to be in their late 20´s to early 30´s. They are nicely dressed in regular street clothes, and look as if they might be some working women who just happened to stop by after work for a drink. Except they keep winking and smiling at me. But I remember that this Pelvis place is in this neighborhood, on Callao. It´s just a couple blocks away. I stop by and even though I have only been there once, last Friday, they recognize me and welcome me as an old friend. There sure are a lot of cute chicas in here. But if there is anything going on in here beyond beer and pool, I´ll be damned if I can figure it out.

Day 5

Hola Piratas!

I get up early today, 10:00am is early in this town. Feeling much better after a night´s sleep.

Out for breakfast. It´s a gorgeous day. Clear skies, bright sunshine, feels like the temperature is in the high 60´s. Banco Galicia is buying dollars for 2.76 pesos. Stop at the locoturio and then back to the apartment.

I was reading reports from the other guys while I was there. I never saw any of these girls mentioned in those reports. The way I look at it, every experience is uniquely tailored to that individual's taste.
