SENDING MONEY TO ARGENTINA

I know this subject has been addressed in the past, but has anyone had experience sending money to Argentina through the IKOBO service? It seems to be a relatively fast, cheap, safe, and easy service. I'm gonna give it a try and if anyone cares, I'll report the results.

The chances are slim to none for the average chica that wants to get a visa. Unless she has a stable work history, money in the bank, owns property and has family in Buenos Aires her chances are very very low. Even if she has those things it's not so easy. I do know more people from Argentina then other countries that are able to get visas though from South America.

Better to try to fly her in to Mexico and meet her in Cancun or another island country close to the USA. If you have a ton of frequent flyer miles banked it's a good way to vacation with your sweetheart.

Can anyone tell me any information they have on getting a chica a visa to come visit the US? I have a chica that I would love to have visit me in the US for a week. Is the embassay granting any visas to the Argentines?

There are locutorios (internet cafes) on every block in BA. Some of them like the one on Santa Fe Ave. and Callao are fairly private. They're also cheap too. Given all that, I wouldn't even bother bringing a laptop down. I guess I didn't directly answer your question.

Smoked salmon

I think some research may be in order here. The restaurant Tucson has a wonderful smoked salmon chunk on their entrada menu (real smoked, not lox-pickled), but I bet the best is yet to be found!
Any tips will be investigated and reported on personally!
