Today I visited many of the clubs listed in the Calle Figueroa area of Tungurahuas amazing list (thanks for this awesome peice of work).

Most of the clubs only had one or two girls and the quality was extremely poor and sanitation absolutely non existent. If you intend on having any physical contact with the beds you should either bring a sheet or poncho or bring that alcohol antiseptic handwash. I am 100% serious and you will see what I mean when you see the places and furthermore the guys lining up to take their turn!

BUT their is an additional area in Calle Figueroa not mentioned in the list and that is the better and more active place. Go to Cafe Arte Fantasy (also called Pomba Gira) at 805 Calle Figueroa. Just next to it are steps going up. On the first floor are shops but keep going up another level and you will come to a landing with about 6 doors. Behind each door are about 4 or 5 girls. There are 3 levels like this with girls varying in quality with most being in the 3 to 4 range. Any girls in the 6 to 7 range wil have a queue of 4 or 5 guys patiently waiting their turn!

The price in these places is 40 boliviano's for 30 minutes! That is $5. 70 cents! And it is possible to find some 5's and 6's there. I had a good time and banged 3 different girls in 3 different rooms. Then immediately came home and showered and disinfected for 20 minutes!

Not great but worth a look for the cultural experience and surely that must be the worlds cheapest brothel area?

To add to the splendid, but somewhat out dated, research of the man in black, Tungurahua, I visited a few places in the Calle Figueroa area. I can confirm that the places at 647 and 671 are still active. General price is 50 BS for half hour. They are mostly mildly attractive to ugly women of ages 28-40. This is just my experience. Search for Tung's fuckclub list if you are unaware of what I am talking about.

Cafe Arte Fantasy had four women but only one who would go for sex. Price was quoted as 70BS but then she looked at the gringo and wanted cien, 100BS. I'm not terrible looking so I am disappointed by this place and would have to recommend a pass on it for future members visits.

I did not use adresses 615, which appears only to be open Th thru Sat or Sun. Address 606 appears to still be active also. These are low end places and not where you'll find young stunners, but you can get your rocks off for approx $8 US. Each to there own. Happy hunting.

Anyone of you know of a good and clean massage place in La Paz?

I recommend one read and pay attention to the posts in this thread. All very accurate. I have been to La Paz 5 or 6 times and consider it a chica waste land. Many unattractive girls, and too high an altitude for anyone over 40 to get much on.

That said, Hotel Europa is my favorite hotel. Hotel El Presidente is older, but chica friendly, and with a good restaraunt at the top floor. Across the street is Hotel Gloria. 3 star but nice staff, girls welcome.

I went to Xcape. I found NO girl worth the $100 plus $56 bar fine. And I have not yet found a decent massage in the entire country. Little latinas know that they can get you off quickly by riding the pony, and it is less work than a massage. Round trip air from LPB to VVI is less than $100 bucks. My advice...go to SC.

looking through the posts i see there are a lot of options in lapaz.

i checked out 3 that my taxi driver recommended: variette, xcape, and katana.

it was a saturday night.

variette and xcape are located in the miraflores district, not too far out on avenida busch, a little beyond the guide book map. they are just two blocks apart. your taxi driver will know them.

xcape: calle puerto rico 1388, corner of busch

variette: calle honduras, just off busch.

katana: if you come back down av. busch you will cross the puente de las americas bridge.

katana is just on the other side.

the prices are about the same in each place, 40 bolivianos for your drink, 80 for a chica drink, 400 bar fine. the chica drink is not obligatory to take them out. the girls all seem to want 100 us dollars for their services, pretty pricey for a place like bolivia in my opinion. but these seem to be the high end clubs in lapaz, i asked my driver to pick the best ones in town.

variette: there were maybe 20, 25 girls, all of them doable, average 7. 0, 7. 5. the waiters are in the jacket-bowtie outfits. the place isn't real big, there is a central stage and there are sofas and tables arranged around in a semicircle around the stage. there's faux marble pillars, everything is draped in red plush fabric. comfortable place, good service, there was going to be a show but i left before it happened.

xcape: this was different. not the best decor, a bunch of tables set out, a central stage, somehow the place had the look of a self service cafeteria, furniture-wise. about 20 girls. i'm going to knock a half point off the average of variette and say 6. 5, 7. 0 but the thing was, the girls were a lot more sluttier, and i definitely liked it here better. friendly staff, good vibe all around.

katana: real weird egyptian theme, when you see the place you think, las vegas. really bad design inside: a long stage went the length of the place and aside from a few tables in the back there was nowhere to sit but by the stage. if u-turned around, you saw a wall. in other words, it was hard to see any of the chicas except those near you. the girls averaged 7. 0, more or less.

i took out a colombian, she was alright but for 100 bucks i deserved a lot better. i should have gone with the bolivian in xcape i had been eyeing.

important reminder: unless you happen to be flying in from tibet, the altitude of lapaz is really lethal. you get out of breath quickly, and it doesn't help that most of the streets are on a slope. chew coca, it helps a lot.

I have been in La Paz, and i really liked it.
I lived close to the “brotheldistrict” in Calle Figueroa.
Many girls in Bolivia are good looking.
I fucked 5 different girls in the “low end places” below.
