Best part of my trip there was when totally random walked past the Bank of Brazil branch on a Friday afternoon at 4 pm. Made friends instantly and made for a great weekend.

Only with a good knowlege of lingua locale you may score.

I was on a party at a friends house. 50 people middle / upper class, only 5 of them could speak english to communicate. Well, one of them a lady in her late 30-ies, big tits, big ass (as it comes in SouthAmerika as a package.) and I could score. But then. Still nothing to shout about.

In Bolivia other attractions are worth a vist. Not the monger venues.

I'm in Santa Cruz right now on my first (and probably last) visit. There are very few options here, compared with almost all other South American countries (and I visited most of them). Even Asuncion was better. The worst is the suffocating heat all day and night, which really saps my strength. Any casas are hard to find, which is surprising for such a big city. I did find two places though but went away again as there was a general lack of good looks. 'Come back later! ', they told me. 'There will be more girls at night'. Yeah, right, at night I'd rather avoid those neighbourhoods.

I did go to Kaprichoos last night but was very disappointed by the lack of talent. There were only a few girls which were not worth the high asking price. O. K, it was Sunday, so there is probably more choice on other nights. Nearby Cafe Show was closed.

This place may be ok if you're on a business trip and want to sample the local talent but it sucks for a real mongering trip IMHO. Some very good looking girls on the Place 24 Septiembre all right but clearly not into business: my smiles were never returned.

Agree about the heat, that in this time of the year gets really oppressing. I also agree that there are much better places than this and that it doesn't really make sense to go there on a mongering trip.

Still tho, I must say that Santa Cruz de la Sierra is one of the few places I've been to where I would really love to get back one day, and this time not on a business trip.

It's not for everyone, sure thing; but its got a certain dunnowhat about itself that I just love and that I've got very good memories of, in spite of the heat, the shit and even the yellow fever that I got there during my stay.

Bolivia is a place that has much to offer, but it isn't a place to go to if pussy is the sole trip goal of the traveller.

Well. Great guys here on the board. No help at all. And their opinion that SC is great.man oh man. Where had you been before?

Its a boring town. Only the big Plaza Sept24 some people walking round. Otherwise deserted, hot, dusty.

Restaurants of low quality. But well, for people happy with a chewey steak tastless barbecued. It fits.

Spanish the ONLY mode of communication. Other languages non existant. Simply becasue the education system is one of the worse in whole South Amerika. How can the chicas learn to talk to me?

Dayaction. Call ads from ElDeber. A hit'and'miss. Got 3 girls to my appt. All not exceeding a 5 on my scale, due to their sagging bellies once naked and too big asses. 350 BS. 50-$ a ripoff for a 20 min all covered mediocre service.

Nightlife starts at midnight and lasts until 3 at night. Terrific timing!

Girls in the discos on the take are not working girls, service oriented. But bitches. Look closer and you see their wrinkles and heavily painted faces. Asking for 500 BS or more (80. 100$) ohh my god. And that in a country where a professional secretary makes 250 $/month and needs to suck my dick before she gets hired. But the gringo oil workers don't mind and pay.

Was on parties of the better middle class: those 30+ ladies. Ohh holy moly : you should see their elephant asses. And the young chicas? . If you a latino dancer, parking your car with a built in ghetto blaster min 1000 W speakers bumping some rock. You may be the men.

Street scene at the 2nd funicular or how they call it. Where the cemetry is: drove by in a cab, got almost molested: extreme agressive bunch of working girls. They offered 100 BS for shag in the car. The cab driver didn't want to partake. Passed on then.

All in all. Not a town to travel to by free willy.

If you want to visit the houses, I can help you there too. It is common at one of these to have new girls at mid day. They need to be instructed a little. But cheap and fun.

Stayed at Los Tajibos (IMHO best hotel there)

Great pool area. Guy next to me was entertaining 4-5 chica's for 3-4 days. They were hanging out by the pool all the time.

Fun to watch.

Monday night cafe show, limited number of girls.

Found one, so so experience. But they did allow her to enter without an I'd, which was interesting.

They are usually very strict.

Almost right next door.

Very modern, big, lots of girls. 6-9's.

Bar fine is 500 BOB expensive for take out.

Private room for 15-20 min dance is 200 BOB.

Found a couple of "friends, got their number to arrange outside activities", this was much more efficient.

Not many girls.

Didn't like the vibe. No overnight from the girls (what they said, only 2 hrs)

Taxi took me to a private house one night. Didn't like it at all.

Just back from a quick trip to Santa Cruz.

Not a lot of free time so just took advantage of the 'Order in' service from the hotel bell boy. (Here in Santa Cruz it is my experience that the bellboy or hotel taxi driver will always be able to provide a selection of reliable playmates!)

It was not so cheap by Bolivian standards (US$70.) and had gone up a little from my last visit but the photos of the Chicas that were shown to me were all rather attractive and, as my previous experiences have also been good, I thought that I would give it a go.

Although, in most countries, I do not usually take advantage of an 'order in' service but there is something quite nice about the sense of expectation that you get waiting for the phone to ring and a completely unknown girl arriving at your door!

I have never yet been disappointed in Santa Cruz in using the "room service"l at the hotel and have always had pleasant or VERY pleasant experiences!

So. 45 minutes later after a brief call from reception to advise me that 'my guest had arrived' I heard a knock on my room door and, when I opened it, a beautiful, slim, dark haired 'Latino' 18 years old girl (YES, I saw her I. D. Later) with a simply stunning body stepped in and greeted me with a 'Hola' and a little kiss.

She spoke little or no English but, as I found out, she knew how to do her job VERY well!

My 'poco' Spanish was enough to find out she was a student and did this escort work 2 or 3 nights a week.

Well, after a good (long) hour. 'She made an old man feel very happy' or, perhaps it is more correct to say 'She made a happy man feel very OLD! '

Anyway, it was $70 well spent by my standards!

As an aside, many Mongers ask for information on lesser visited destinations like Santa Cruz but then NEVER post trip reports or even brief comments. So, PLEASE POST ANY UPDATES you may have. It does help your fellow Mongers!

I have visited the DR; Costa Rica; Cali; and Medellin quite a bit over the last 3 years. My Spanish is getting there. But I not fluent yet. Colombia is great. But, I am hoping to find something a little more "normal" (less hard partying; less hard chicas). I have heard great things about Santa Cruz.

Thinking about paying a visit for a couple months, and am looking for some members with current experience.

Very quick visit for me, one night, so not a lot of time to explore.

Thanks to the forum to make my time efficient.

Stayed at los tajibos. Taxi to cafe show, although driver wanted to take me to curry's.

He said that was the place to be but I decided on cafe show instead.

No entrance fee, a beer for 30 BOB.

Many girls but quite busy for a Thursday with a lot of guys. 60 BOB for the girls' drinks.

Found a friendly after a bit, we chatted and had some drinks. Took a taxi parked in front of the bar back to the hotel. Felt safe.

Back to the hotel, they checked her I'd, no problems or fee involved.

Her fee was $100 US for overnight and 200 BOB bar fine to leave.

All in all fun place to be. Hopefully my next trip will be a few days longer. Hope to return in 3-4 months.

I speak spanish but think it would be difficult if you don't.
