    update on Santa Cruz

Ended up in Santa cruz on business this week and I will attempt to update Jackson & Hard Rockers reports. I will follow Jackson format.

Hotels - Client put me in Camino Real , this was the only place I stayed. So other guys stayed at Los Tajibos and they said it was fine. I ended up paying $81 probably because the client was a local company. Very chica friendly. The girls either went straight to the room or stopped at reception and they called me to come and get them. No mention of any fee and nothing showed up on my bill. Hotel has a nice pool area and a passable workout center with dry and wet sauna. Breafeast was included and they made adecent omelet. Saturday & Sunday was packed with a lot of the guests being missorineries with thier families. Told me the price for the weekend for locals was $45. Did not impact chicas movement at all.

Restaurants - Tried the Los Hiorros and found it to be very good. Great steak.

Alexander's - Also on Ave. Monsenoer Rivero, just down from Los Hiorros wass very good for sandwichs. Eat a couple of times at the local joints in the markets and thought the food was good.

They eat a pork rind dish that is kinda of boiled, but ends up just googy fat, imho. They also eat mondago, tripe, which I do not care for.

Did not try the Burger King but did try "chuy" a fried chicken fast food joint that was okay.

    Clubs -

Cafe Show - IMHO, the best. Chicas dance continiously after midnight at floor level. Drinks were 20 for me and 25 for the chicas. Takeout was $50 for 1 hour and $100 for total la noche. Bar fine was 100 Bolviars ~ $12/13. Took a tremendous chicas from here. Nicol, short great tits, completa, very GFE. Got to the room around 2 am and after a bbbj and a round of sex, I turn around to get a drink of water and when I returned she was fast asleep.
My instinstinsts were right and in the morning I was rewarded with multiple rounds of bbbj, sex in every imiangeable position and anal. She is definately one to ask for. There were many chicas in this place that imho were 7 & 8's. I was surprised at the quality , no 250 # pigs as Hard Rocker found.

Currys - medium sized place with nicer surroundings than Cafe show. Chicas were Columbian, Brazillian, Argentinan, and primarily blonde with big tits. Drinks were 30 bolivars for any drink, water, coke, beer or whisky. Take was $50 for 1 hour and $100 for total la noche. They ask for a bar fine of 240 bol for 1 hour and 400 for total la noche. I tooka chicas who claimed to be Boilvan for total la noche and had her neogiate the bar fine to the 240, which she did very easliy by saying I was only going to pay the 240. The show was okay but not continoius and consisted of only 3/4 girls.

Caesar's Place - This place is going downhill in a hurry and it is easy to see why. No clients. First they wanted 40 bol for my drinks and 50 bol for the girls drinks. I visited twice and both times in over a hour I only saw 1 girl dance. For take out I was qouted $100 for 1 hour and $150 for total la noche. The girl I was with was nice but the bar fine was 400 for 1 hour and 600 for total la noche. I laughed and told them no. I set up a meeting with the girl in my hotel for the next day.

Bhuzos - This place is smaller than Cafe show. Well lite but that turned out to be bad. This is were Hard Rcoker 250# pigs are. I did not see any thing I would even consider. Drinks were 10 bol. Did not ask about take out.

Cartenga Whiskera - This place is huge very dark. The girls were mostly columbian and dark skinned. Drinks were 20 bol and take out was $50, on site was $20. If you like dark girls this is the place. Located on the road to Antiguia.

Kala Show - directly behind Cartenga. Lower quality with a mix of girls. I did not stay.

    Casa de Putas

Las Pinas & sister club Nocturno are both located in residential areas. Sister club is on Calle 16Gabriel de Acuna #3345. I took 3 different girls from here. 2 onsite for the pricely sum of 240 bol and that included a drink for me & the girl. Lorena & Daniela. Both spinners. Daniela is young claimed to be 18. Very inexperienced. Lornea gave the better performance. I intended to repeat with Lorna but she was occupied when I went back. Take was a real trip. The price for take out was 400 bol for 1 hour. Total la noche was unavailable and 2 hours was 900 bol. Go figure. Took a very busty canela girl. Got to the room and she had no interest in leaving, who could blame her the girls that stayed at the house were on call 24 hours or whenever anybody knocked and slept 2 to abed and on the floor. She went home at night but made it plain that she wanted to stay. I gave her another 600 bol in the morning which skipped the house fee but She did not ask for that. Good experience.

Sol Aridente - located at 490 2 ring at the park Urbano acroos from a restrauant Brasargent. No question this is a locals joint. Mostly young bolivans with heavy chicas. I did not stay.

85b - closed both times I went by. off the 4th ring at ALumbrado Publiico.

Un named Place - not sure if this goes under casas or street walkers. While walking in the market at Los Pozosnear the intersection of Suarez and Compero. I sat down near a chica a started talking, figuring to maybe work my way into a #. When I mention the subject she said that was her trabajo. I said where and she said here. I asked how much and she said 30 bol. I bit and into the back we went and there were rooms. I paid another 5 bol for a room received a rubber and proceeded to go to the room. For anothe 10 bol ($2.50) chupla sin condom and another 10 bol cim. I spent the 50 bol or 6 $us for a very good looking chica.

Street girls - I drove by the plaza de Justice ( on the way to cafe show) and sawing nothing that did not look like it had smaller balls than I did.

    Other Notes

atms - one located just down the street from the Camino Real. Saw plenty but some definetly were in bad areas and or very scary looking.

taxis - paid 25 to 35 bol an hour dependeing on the time . midle of the day 25 midnight 35. They do have pictures of girls and i did partake the first night. It was late for me traveling all day and I took the easy route. Picked 3 girls and the one that showed up was not in any of the pictures I saw. But she was drop dead gorgous. not a good experience. All that beauty and as she was riding cowgirl she would stop about every other thrust and ask "leche", finally she pulled of and looked and said leche and 5 seconds later she was gone. Saw her later in Cafe Show and she wanted to know why I had not called her. She asked in front on several chicas and I told her. Again 5 seconds later she was gone. I actually think it embarassed her. Because the Nicol had told the girls how much she enjoyed our evening. But I will asy this I never saw any of those girls in the pictures walk in without taking a second look. All very nice.

hotel staff- I found the staff a more agrressive than Jackson. I actually took one of the belmans. Mirman from the previous report. I echo his comments. I paid $60 and 20 bol for taxi. 1 hour that was more like 2. Very gfe multiple positions and 2 bbbj 2 nuts.

bolivans - they never smile. I must be against the law. They have big feet and not not attractive toes. Not like the Brazillian girls who have beautiful feet.

Visa - pain in the ass - you have to have ayellow fever shot. Made little sense to me since it takes 2 weeks for it to take efect. I saw a sign in the airort that said you could get the shot there for free. But I could not get a visa without it. Mt businees visa costs $150 and was good for 30 dyas. Tourist visa are $20.

airport tax - $24 on exit

All in all a good place to monger for me. The mongering is very defined. Adds in El Debe, the taxis , the private casas and the clubs. Not much neogiating. If you found sombody who wanted to neogoaite then it was probably a columbian.

    Santa Cruz

Having spent only 3 short days in Santa Cruz during "Carnaval" I can only say I had a wonderful, relaxing time. Because my stay was short, I resorted to the professionals offered by a taxi driver at the Camino Real, coming up with "Miriam" a beauty from Paraguay of about 25 years old. She was not cheap at US$70, but 10 min after the deiver made a call, she came right to the hotel, to my room. Since the staff had known her, they requested her ID which was held until she departed. No English was spoken and my rudimentary Spanish was all that was needed. She obviously worked for a service and had to call in upon arrival.

This young woman was the epitome of beauty and sensuality. She gave a GFE, albeit an hourly one. I hired he for the following day too.

After her second visit, I walked her out the main entrance and the reception staff all grinned. They all confided that she is known as the best of the best. They all wanted to have her, but none of them could afford her fee.

    Political situation in SC

Hows the political situation right NOW in SC?

Updates anyone. I been hearing that governor of SC region is realy wanting to go independant on La paz (Morales) government.

Whats next. A full scale civil war?

When does Morales send more troops in?

    Cheers

    Bolivan booty...what body type?

So I will be checking out Bolivia...not due to the amazing reports floating around but more cuz I have a free tix and some time to burn.

I realize that the "look" of most of the girls will be towards the indian/native side which is fine with me...I am more curious as to whether I will be able to find some hard bods with big boobs...enough to keep me busy for 13 days...is it possible?

    Artisttyp, Mangera, et al-
Santa Cruz definetly has a large selection of dark, indigenous looking women (from other parts of Bolivia) that are available for P4P action. In my report from my trip in May, I mentioned the existance of dozens of definitely low end private houses that had the feel of a high school party. The one I visited had at least 15 different girls available and about 90% were quite indigenous looking (which was not what we were looking for). Any taxi driver will know the locations of several of these private casas. In addition, for the truly adventurous (Spanish fluency mandatory here) there is a Saturday-only market on the outskirts of town that is literally filled with dark, indigenous women who are likely broke as a joke and would be willing to hang out with a foreigner in exchange for some money.
TAM Mercosur definetly flies between Santa Cruz and Asuncion and Aerosur may also do that route. There are also long range bus services between Santa Cruz and Asuncion as well, but I bet a border drug search is a given on that one.
American Airlines flies daily from Miami to Santa Cruz sometimes stopping in La Paz on certain days of the week I believe. They fly a single-aisle 757 on that route so don't expect any great comforts. On my trip I flew from Buenos Aires ( I live there) and it was a cheap ($250 USD) and short (3 hour) flight.

I too enjoyed your report. I've been looking into bolivia for future trips. I have two questions.

    1. Are there low end casas/brothels with dark indian women ?

    2. Is there any good transportion between santa cruz and asuncion paraguay and would getting through the border by ground be difficult ?

    Thanks

Por nada, amigo. The best way that I know is to come through on American via Miami (MIA) direct to Viru Viru (VVI). Viru Viru is the newish airport about ten minutes to the north. It is a midnight flight that will have you here early morning. The business class upgrade is pretty cheap, too. There is also Santa Cruz (SRZ) airport but that doesn't handle many flights anymore and is mostly civil and military.

Btw, I called my regular last night with the great tits. It was awesome. She typically stays with me for three or four hours and is a refreshing and natural GFE, so I typically pay her about $100USD as she is more upscale and provides a more personal service. She is not one of the models you can get though, which I need to try one of these nights, there are some hotties I see in the hotels that I hear run $100-$200 for a ST appointment. I'll have to do some investigating for your gentlemen.

Santa Cruz is the largest city in Bolivia, and IMO has the prettiest women in the country. Good thing, because I do not think that I would have the stamina to screw in La Paz at its unbelievable altitude of 12,000 feet MSL. While it is the business center of Bolivia, little English is spoken, and the local language is Camba Spanish, which takes some getting used to. They drop the s here so "dos paquetes de marlboros blancos" becomes "do paquete de marlboro blanco", and "estoy yesca" becomes "e'toy ye'ca". This and some odd vernacular will make things a little challenging. Do not be shocked if you speak decent Spanish but they do not understand you in some places.

The girls here are approachable, although they are more timid than the Colombians. Also the hot-to-not ratio is not quite as good as elsewhere. That said, that are some cuties to be had and even the younger girls (18 and up) are pretty progressive sexually. Unlike the Colombianas these girls will never call you first or make the first (or even second) move, so you need to be a little aggressive (with manners).

All in all Santa Cruz is safe for the smart-minded traveler. While pickpocketing and some late night muggings do happen outside the main avenue, those of us who are used to overseas travel will find it rather secure. However there are many demonstrations downtown as the political situation has been tense since Evo Morales took power; avoid these at all costs as they can get a little violent and even xenophobic.

$1USD ~= 8 Bolivianos, just remember 80Bs is ten bucks and do the math. Cabs are unmetered but minimum fair is 10Bs, a ride across town within ring 4 is typically 15-20Bs and an hour of random travel is 30Bs. There are small surcharges if you go outside ring 4, such as to Viru Viru airport (typically 50Bs total one way). Don't even ask, just calculate in your head and act like you know what you're doing and you won't get ripped off, or if you have to ask they'll try and overcharge 25% so try and talk them down. Also, they will never have change so carry small bills with you.

Regarding P4P, there are a number of outlets. The best IMO are El Deber, Caesar's Palace, and your hotel's doorman.

El Deber is the local newspaper, and it has a rather good classified section which offers a wide variety, and often the best selection if you know how to play the listings. This can be a bit of a gamble of course, but for the most part the slightly more expensive independents are ok. This also works best if you stay at a ritzier complex with a doorman that controls the traffic going in and out. My friend got a number out of El Deber which he later gave me for what must have been one of the sexiest fucks I've had in a long time with a nice 21 y/o student and semi-pro with the nicest rack in recent memory.

Caesar's Palace is a large strip club that is fairly upscale. There are PLENTY of women to choose from that can be barfined or taken to any of the available rooms, typically costing around $75 for the latter. I tried to negotiate without success and my local buddies told me that I have to pay the 'Gringo Tax' until my face becomes that of a regular. I passed and instead got phone numbers for after-hours action which typically ran me $50 for a good two hour session back at the casa. Some girls are known to offer BBFS at these places and there is a rumor of some HIV going on, so play smart. If you simply must have BBFS then establish a steady rapport with a higher end semi-pro which will reduce the risk to some degree. Hepatitis is also a major problem here, be careful!

Across the street from Caesar's is a place with 'Cafe' in the name that I forget, but it is not nearly as nice as Caesar's although it has a better atmosphere. Prices are cheaper reportedly, although the hot-to-not ratio goes down as well. But it is a fun place to drink, which is all I did there.

Taxi drivers and hotel doormen are your friends. It will cost you more since they get a built-in cut of the action but they'll either send the prime beef right to your room or show you a portfolio of various gals and their availability. Do not hesitate to turn down anything that does not meet your specifications. After awhile you will build your own network of numbers to call.

There are also some other places you can try, such as '33' over by Aeropuerto Trompillo, which is a massage parlor offering full service. There are some skeezy motels on the southwest side of 4th ring (you can't miss them), which cater to the cheap short time enthusiasts, but there are many trannies too there. I stay away from those places. Another tact is to hop in a taxi and tell him you're looking for a companion, and you'll find the streetwalkers, some of whom are actually quite hot. I only wanted to see what the opportunities are and always declined, but it is an option for those who like to be adventurous.

For those going out towards Cochabamba there are brothels on the main road that goes north and then west out of Santa Cruz, which can be best seen on Thursday nights exhibiting a red lantern or a red bucket. I have never tried these, I only know what my cholo friends have told me.

If you are on a P4P vacation, I recommend Colombia, Argentina, Brazil or Peru over Bolivia. But of you are a jaded traveler looking to try something new and challenging, Santa Cruz is a decent city to try out.

My personal take on Santa Cruz

Now that I have been here for a few months I thought I would share my own thoughts as someone actually living in the city. Jackson has already summed things up nicely but I figure I'll give my resident's view. It should be taken with a grain of salt since I just moved here after a trek through BKK and the Phils, which will make anyone 'too jaded' for a fair comparison.

I haven't been to Medellin, but many of my friends have, and if Bogota is any indication then you'll have more fun in your old stomping grounds.

    Hlover-
When I was back in Santa Cruz de la Sierra in May 2007, I took the flight from Buenos Aires and it only set me back about $240 USD all in. However, I have seen the flight for around $315 USD also, so anywhere from the $250-$350 USD range is the norm. This is for flights ORIGINATING in Buenos Aires; if you originate in SC de la Sierra, the flight is at least $100 USD more. I know this because I flew a Crucena into Buenos Aires to visit me just about two weeks ago.

Around here there is primarily Cotas and Entel. I would recommend the latter. No need to sign up for anything, just go to Siete Calles or one of the bazaars and for about $50 you'll walk out with a decent Motorola cellphone, an activated SIM, and about 50Bs worth of credit.
