Holy Shit!

First off, big ups to Christopherd for the info on finding this place, couldn't have done it without you

Got out of the bus terminal, walked to the left, strolled up the wrong street, doubled back- the clock was ticking!

Finally came upon a police tower (thats the beginning of Rua Guaicurus), read the numbers on a fast walk. 710, 690, 680, . Ah, 660. That was easy

Walked up the stairs- actually much cleaner than I expected. Reminded me of the buddy-booth palaces in Times square, except no jizz smell

The place was packed with guys all copping a look. I walked toward a group in one doorway

Overall? Why bother hitting another place- go directly to 660. That $26 in America- you wouldn't get a full clothed covered handjob anywhere for that price. Here you get anal, vaginal, facial- you name it

Hotel 620 has a big yellow Hotel sign.

Onde Livre is the red doorway next to Relax Fantasy. In the photo, you can see a blue sign to teh left although the name is not visible.

Imperial Palace is the red and yellow doorway in the picture.

OK, tomorrow Im going to Rua Guaicurus, because Im Curious about the ruas.

I have a four hour window in which I can grab a bus on 381, get to the bus station within 90 minutes ( traffic allowing) run directly to 660 because it sounds like the best bet ( clean and decent looking girls) pick one out and bust a quick nut, run back to the bus station and get back before my boss knows Ive been gone.

Yeah, there's an upmarket gentleman's club (brothel) that was advertised in the official tourist guide when i was there a few months ago. I didn't have time to go but there are reports on this board if you search back.

From Svassi it's only a short taxi ride into town though and the dirty 'n' cheap area is walking distance from the centre. If you give a street adress you can be at the small-change pussy-streets in less than ten minutes (except rush hour, when the traffic is very bad).

Thanks for explaining your passion, Jonathan! I don't share it, but at least it makes sense to me now, and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Noticing that you've already booked in to SP simplifies things a bit. You can probably get an internal flight to BH (or overnight bus) or same to Rio. One of the advantages of BH is that you can get a hotel, such as the one I mentioned, practically in the down and dirty red light area. You can fill up on pussy and fat asses then walk into town or jump a taxi to Swassi for a refined evening (or back again - the knock shops are open late). There's comparatively little worry over crime or getting ripped off in BH. Bearing in mind it's your first trip to Brasil, BH is a fairly simple side-trip option if you can get direct transport.

For Rio though, you might need to do more planning. Mostly, where are you going to stay? There are one or two hotels in the VM area (apart from Canario - I've no idea if they do a day rate) but they don't speak English. If you go for this option, there's a backpacker hostel I know of in walking distance (but a chance you have to share a room) or you could go for an upmarket hotel in the city centre and commute to VM. There are cheap hotels a short taxi away but you would have the language problem. Rio is enormous - the size of London. BH is a manageable town by comparison.

Or you could arrange a place in Copa and travel the much greater distance daily to VM. Copa also means there is the off-chance you can find something you fancy at Meia Pataca (cafe overlooking the beach).

If you have to change planes or buses at Rio, you could maybe leave your luggage at the airport/bus station and do a quickie trip to VM before carrying on to BH.

Beware of trying to do too much though. My first trip to Brasil took me more than a week just to get acclimatised. Negotiating things on a daily basis in a strange culture where people (at best) only speak pidgeon English can be very tiring. And allow for delays. It is not like in the west where you can just pay money to have something done quicker or reliably on time.

There may come a point where it is all too much and a bit overwhelming. If that happens when you're in Rio, consider treating yourself to a ride up to Sugar Loaf (a refreshing experience). In Rio, it is easy to feel you have died and gone to heaven, and that's even before you start pussy hunting. In BH, maybe get a taxi to Swassi and do some upmarket shopping and dining.

Your flight is to Sao Paulo. You could stay in Sao Paulo a couple of nights and then head to Rio. Lots of cheap flights available. If Rio isn't your cup of tea you just head back to Sao Paulo.

3 months ago I came across the following on a tourist site:

This just sounds so much more exciting....... (I did some more research on Rio today and thought yes, on the whole there are more blacks and mulattoes in Rio than Sao Paolo but if there are in fact approximately 3000 women in that red-light district there must be at least 200 or so white middle-aged ladies with fat asses in that whole bunch. Right ?)

So there's my dilemma:

Do I keep my original plan and stay in Sao Paolo to savor its low-end brothels (Limeira, Andrades, Consolacao) and its numerous streetwalkers (which according to Sperto are big and mature) or will I have better luck in Rio's Vila Mimosa.

Even though I like (sorry, I meant love) VM I can understand that for some people, specially first-timers, VM can be a bit scary. BH will feel safer. I guess VM is unbeatable when searching for heavy older women.

Purely on this point, VM most afternoons or evenings, or Imperial Palace BH from 9 or 10 am should suit.

I don't think you will find much competition for these women. There is more opportunity for the BH women to be matronly in a caring sort of way as you can have quiet rooms. In VM you have background hubbub usually unless you take them to the nearby Canario hotel. But VM includes a fun surroundings element, whereas BH is straight knock-shops near the city centre.

The choice is yours, but to visit Brasil and not do Rio is a bit like going to a celebrity VIP buffet and taking your own food and drink.

If you have a very short time, you can do BH without getting fazed, but bear in mind the extra travel time if you are going there via RJ. Yes, BH is nice, it's not crazy, the pussy is nicely packaged for daytime shopping.

Rio is crazy. But do you really want to miss it??

VM is 24hr but busier in the evening and at night. I'm wondering how being white is an issue in the VM vs BH choice. I think it's more that you will just look like a tourist on your first visit in either.

RJ has more tourists but it's bigger and so they get swallowed up easier.

If you are undecided and travelling via RJ, it's on the same side of the city as the airport (unlike Copacabana). You could even stash your luggage, taxi to VM for the afternoon, then back to the airport. Be sure to have some small bills - it makes things quicker if you have 30R or exact change. (If you are going on to BH by bus, then VM is a stone's throw from the bus station. You can get a good shower before getting on your bus.)

If you want a semblence of normality with a bit of rough on the side, BH is more like any western city - not like RJ. There's a fraction of the pussy available in BH, but how much can one man get through anyway.

If you are interested in anything other than pussy, although BH has nice parks and shopping, it is hardly exotic. If you go to the posh Swassi area (BH) you will probably feel you are in a western-style haven with added pussyclubs. RJ, on the other hand, it one of the most visually stunning cities on the planet. It gives you the kosher Brasilian experience!
