I was in Curitiba about a month ago. Very cool city in every meanings of the word. Lots of beautiful eye candy strolling around in the city. If one were to invest some time in this city, one would have a great time there.

The options are numerous in Curitiba. I bought at one of the boutiquins a small newspaper called "guia das acompanhantes de Curitiba", a monthly issue. A gold mine with about 30-50 ads of beautiful gatas with reasonably good sizes pictures of them, available for fun all day and night. I didn't call any even tough was quite tempted as per the pictures, but my hunch is that the going rate should be about 200 for 2hours of unlimited fun. Next time, will give it a try.

Went to a boite called Casa Nova in Cristo Rei. Very overpriced place. Entry is 50 reais which includes 2 local drinks. Upstairs, there's a club/strip club type of place where girls, typical curitibanas, tall, blonde but some morenas and a couple of mulatas too, are dancing in very sexy attire. One tall blonde gaucha came and sat with me, explained me how it works there. We had a good time together that I decided to take her out to the hotel with me. Inside the club, we had a good chemistry, FK and my hands freeling wandering around her curvaceous and delicious body. Her (successful) sales pitch was that she provides the best oral in the world. I inquired what she meant but she only said that I had to find out by myself. She was hot and I was getting horny too, so took her out. We agreed on 200 TLN. She went to change and asked me to wait for her downstairs. Downstairs, I settled the bill: 230 reais divided in the following manner: 50 entrada (which included 2 local drinks), 80!!!! for her drink (a champagne/mix), 80 for the take out fee/fine and another20 for my 3rd drink which was a caipirinha. Total 230 reais!!!

Then, in the hotel after she registered at reception, off to the room and that that's when things started to deteriorate. She started to demand payment up front and on top of that, she upped her demand from 200 to 250!!!I may have been horny and she may have been hot, but I am not stupid to be ripped off nor do I like people not keeping their words and their ends of the deal so I kicked her out of the hotel. She demanded 50reais for the taxi while the taxi ride from the boite to the hotel was less than 8 reais. I threw a 10 at her and she looked surprised and arrogantly left. Great riddance, no need for that kind of attitude.

I didn't really see that one coming. She was so sweet, so nice and promising me the moon in the club only to not deliver anything at all once in the room. Has anyone had that type of experience before? How do you detect that type of behaviour while you're having a good time with a garota in a club?

Just before going to Casa Nova, I passed in front of the infamous Sauna Imperial but it was closed on a friday night at 11:30pm. Just besides it there is a regular club, with a line up of gorgeous curitibanas that made my jaws dropped.

One last thing about places in Curitiba, there seems to be lots of casas particulares where you are presented with a line up of girls to chose, those usually charge 60 to 100 reais per hour. Your best bet and source for finding them in Brasil is to just ask the cab drivers. Just hop into a cab and ask the driver about casas particulares and you'll be in one with a nice selection of sexy girls in no time. Gotta love Brasil!!!

I have never used an incall or escort service in Curitiba. I am not fond of those types of services because for me, it takes the fun out of the hunt.

The average cost of bang in Curitiba I'd say is around $100 for a couple hours. I have had a lot of success negotiating my own terms at most of the clubs. I can usually talk a girl into spending the entire night with me at the hotel for around $100 to $150. I have even been able to negotiate a deal for an all-inclusive week with a girl for $500 - $600. This means she stays with me at the hotel for the whole week I am there, goes to dinner, concerts, movies, social events, and all the sex I can handle. In other words, a true GFE experience. This is how I met the girl I will soon marry at the end of this month.

I am an expert in negotiating as this is a requirement for the work I do (and I am proud to add that I have NEVER worked in sales so all you sales guys out there can bite me) ! : - )

I might be going to Curitiba for a few days next month. Read this thread, some good suggestions but most are old. Is Sauna Imperial (which was highly talked about in the past) still around and is the service still as good as it used to? What are the prices and selection and address to there now?

Any other tips and suggestions on this city would be appreciated.

I have never been to Sauna Imperial and have never heard talk of it except here in the forum. Your best bet is to stay somewhere in the central part of the city. Grand Hotel Rayon is a good place to stay and I have stayed there many times so I highly recommend it. From there you are just two blocks away from Club Sex.

For restaurants, if you like beef, I highly recommend Grimpa's Steak House. It is a Brazilian style BBQ and the food there is fantastic. It was opened by a Brazilian soccer star who has since retired. He is opening another facility in Miami, Florida this month. I am sure it will be a big hit.

For a late night snack after some serious mongering, the Babalonia restaurant (only a few minute taxi ride from Hotel Rayon) is a great place to go and has outdoor and well as indoor seating. It is open 24 hours and you can even pick up a chica there or a non-working girl if you can speak a little Portugese. I don't speak hardly any and have had some luck with a couple of 9s there. However, it is best to go there with a Brazilian friend or two to help break the ice. I always do.

Unfortunately, Sunday's in Curitiba are not to exciting. The city rolls up the carpet and just about every place is closed. I did find one club in the centro part of the city that is open on Sunday. It is within Walking distance of Hotel Grand Rayon. However, I do not remember the name of the place. Best Thing to do is hail a taxi from your hotel and explain to him what you want in a combination of your best Portugese and sign language. That is how I found the place. A word of advice: Do not try to find it on foot.

You and I are on the same wavelength. If I want attitude / bitchiness I would just stay in the States. The one on one chemistry with the girl is paramount. Aside from complete pigs, I'd take a plain sweetheart over a gorgeous **** anyday. Except if you are into a revenge f*ck sort of thing.

Your description of Curitiba is promising if I am ever get wanderlust. But before then, I am staying my ass in Rio/Sao Paulo where the pickins are plentiful.

Class is always a good alternative, the facility is in my opinion the best in Curitiba, VIP rooms a disaster. very close to the center. Expensive.

Crystal is very far from center on the BR 116 but in my experience the best quality/price ratio, had some real gems there.

Casanova is also ok, lots of girls, facility is nothing special.

Sprite, I'm here now, but not for mongering. Still I managed to check out the scene. Walked into Club Sex, Cafe Paris and Metro Club. All three are in the same area and I had a cab stay with me as I quickly looked inside each one -they allowed me to do that. Cafe Paris was my least favorite but the nicest facility. Limited girls and size and I didn't see any girls I really liked. Club Sex looked good -lots of girls but I went to Metro because there was some special fiesta happening so it seemed more active. Metro looked more like a club vs club sex in terms of the interior although I think it had less girls.

I'm spoiled by Rio so to me the whole thing was second rate but still acceptable once I lowered my standards. The girls’ attitudes are not as good as termas girls -more pro attitudes, more bitchy girls and although there were some pretty ones, their bodies were often not as totally hot, curvy and womanly as the Rio girls in general. If you go for that accentuated womanly figure, those girls are not the norm here. Several of the girls I talked to in my broken Portuguese were complete c*nts -just working girl bitches with very unnecessary attitude. I dress nicely and am very presentable and friendly so there’s never a need for a girl to show me attitude. Even in Help in Rio if a girl starts off giving me a bit of attitude I can very quickly break her down with charm and have her smiling in no time, but not necessarily here.

That being said, I ended up finding a total sweetheart who was an incredible lay, good looking, great body etc. I had her come to my hotel the next night and she again was great. I can’t remember her working name (she gave me her real name with phone number) but it doesn’t matter, my choice might not necessarily be someone else’s and part of my choice is based on personal chemistry –point being I’m sure you can find a great girl here but it may take a bit more time and there won’t be as many killer choices as in a larger city like Rio or Sampa.

One other thing I didn’t like was the room I ended up in. It was like a VIP room in a club –right off the main floor with windows looking out and a bathroom and the music blasting in. It was nice and clean but I hated feeling like I was still in the club and there was no bed –just a vinyl couch that the girl threw a sheet over. Maybe just personal preference, but I hate screwing under these conditions –it just seems like a cheap quickie in the corner of a club and the couch limits the positions you can do etc. Hey, maybe these conditions are a turn on for some guys, but I like to be in some sort of isolated bedroom where I can get a vibe going with the girl, spread out and have fun. I don’t know if they had other rooms available. This was my first night in one of these joints and I was trying my best to just understand how it all worked while the guy screamed in Portuguese over the loud music.

I’m going to just stick with my girl for the short time I’m here. I don’t have time to do any serious mongering while here and just want someone I know I can count on to come take care of me at night.

In addition to the clubs I mentioned already here are the ones I didn’t visit but were well reviewed in gpguia:

-Fantasyas Drinks

There seems to be a healthy underbelly of sex clubs in Curitiba so if one is looking to get laid, you won’t have any trouble. I would suggest just writing down the list of places I mentioned and having a cab driver take you around. Most of the places agreed to let me just look quickly while the driver waited outside. You’re best to get there around 12:30am when they are heating up. Before that they are a bit dead and I’m not sure that all the girls are there yet.
